[OVERVIEW]

  • Abomasnow has a unique Grass and Ice dual typing allowing it check certain Pokemon such as Gastrodon, Lanturn, and Floatzel and Lilligant.
  • Snow Warning gives 100% accurate blizzards and hard checks weather teams with scarf
  • STAB priority in Ice Shard can be used to pick off weakened offensive foes such as Ninjask.
  • Weak to Stealth Rock, it's typing leaves it weak to common attacking types like Fire and Fighting.

move 2: Blizzard
move 3: Earthquake / Focus Blast
move 4: Ice Shard
item: Life Orb
ability: Snow Warning
nature: Mild / Hasty
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD/ 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
  • Giga Drain is reliable special STAB that can help keep Abomasnow healthy, alternatively Wood Hammer can be used to hit Lanturn and Hitmonchan for much higher damage.
  • Blizzard is it's strongest available Ice STAB complimented very well by Snow Warning making it a 100% accurate move.
  • Earthquake hits the Steel-types and Fire-types that resist it's STABs, doing massive damage to Magmotar and Togedemaru, Focus Blast can be used here to threaten Ferroseed and specially defenisve Miltank.
  • Ice Shard is good priority allowing you to pick off weakened offensive threats as well as soft checking Jumpluff, Archeops and other Flying-types.

Set Details
========

  • 252 Special Attack and Speed EVs let Abomasnow hit as hard as possible.
  • A Mild Nature lets Abomasnow hit for as damage as it can muster, helping it in wallbreaking.
  • a Hasty Nature lets Abomasnow outpace neutral-nature base 70s such as Ludicolo.
  • Mild and Hasty are chosen as Abomasnow's typing aides it in checking Grass and Water types better, which are primarily special.
  • Snow Warning makes Blizzard 100% accurate
  • Life Orb increases damage output, with the down side of recoil for every turn.

Usage Tips
========

  • Abomasnow should primarily be used offensively, but can be switched in on Pokemon like Gastrodon bar Toxic.
  • Once Abomasnow is in you will want to be clicking Blizzard as much as possible.
  • Go for coverage in absolutely necessary situations.
  • Ice Shard should be used to pick off low health Pokemon and used to threaten faster Flying-types.

Team Options
========

  • Hazard control is a must as Abomasnow is whittled down very quickly from Life Orb recoil as well having a weakness to Stealth Rock. Swanna makes a good partner as it can threaten the Fire-types that threaten Abomasnow where as Hitmonchan can be used to threaten Steel-types that can be a nuisance to it as well as keeping your hazards on the playing filed.
  • Pokemon with Volt Switch or U-turn make good partners for Abomasnow as they can give it a free entry in to battle. Lanturn is notable as it checks fire-type Pokemon and lures in Grass-types, like Exeggutor-Alola, for Abomasnow to take advantage of. Primeape is a solid U-turn user to pair with Abomasnow as it checks Steel-types and lures in physically defenisve mon such as Musharna and Weezing that Abomasnow can take advantage of.
  • Water-types such as Gastrodon and Poliwrath check Fire-types and Steel-Types that threaten Abomasnow, where Abomasnow can check the Grass-types that threaten them.
  • Fighting-type resists such as Mesprit and Sableye are a must with Abomasnow as it has a terrible match up against Fighting-type Pokemon.

Moves
========
  • Seed Bomb is reliable physical grass stab, and lets you not be destroyed by recoil, as Wood Hammer would. I also has the benefit of not making contact letting you avoid Iron Barb and Rocky Helmet damage from the likes of Ferroseed and Qwilfish.
  • Earthquake is a nice coverage moves that allows Abomasnow to hit fire-type Pokemon like Magmortar and Pyroar, it also hit's Steel-types such as Togedemaru for super effective damage.
  • Ice Shard is STAB priority, that can be used to clean late game as well as picking off weakened threats.
  • Swords Dance boosts your attack two stages, letting this set wallbreak or clean depending on the circumstances.
Describe what the moves on the set do.

  • 252 Attack and Speed let gives you the best chance to clean or wallbreak.
  • Adamant is used for maximum damage output.
  • Life Orb can be used to give the maximain damage output to all of it's moves at the cost of recoil, whereas Grassium Z lets you get a one time nuke, OHKOing many resists such as Magmortar.
  • Soundproof lets you avoid Roar, it can also be used to check Pyroar locked in to Hyper Voice as well as avoids damage from Chatots STABs, Snow Warning may be used for hail teams or getting extra chip damage.

Describe the other aspects of the set such as what the EVs do and nature/item.

Usage Tips
========
  • Abomasnow can be used effectively early-game through mid-game as a wallbreaker weakening Pokemon such as Qwilfish and Regirock for its teammates, as well as opening itself up for a sweep.

  • Abomasnow should be brought in on a free switch via Volt Turn and U-turn or after a teammate has fainted as the things Abomasnow switches in on can threaten this set much more than the more special variants such as Gastrodon's Scald.
  • If using Abomasnow on a very offensive team in some circumstances it is best to use it sparingly as it can be used to check threats such as Lilligant, Archeops and Oricorio-Sensu.
Team Options
========

  • Sweepers such as Carracosta, Lycanroc and Lilligant appreciate Abomasnow weaking opposing teams, and casn also be used to weaken teams for Abomasnow.
  • Mesprit resists Fighting-type attacks that threaten Abomasnow and can also give it a slow U-Turn and Healing Wish support.
  • Hazards like Spikes and Toxic Spikes can aide Abomasnow in wallbreaking and sweeping. Qwilfish stands out as an excellent partner as it can set both while checking Fighting-types like Hitmonchan.
  • Hazard control is mandatory as Abomasnow is worn down quickly by hazards with its weakness to Stealth Rock. Swanna is a notable partner as it can check Fighting- and Fire-types like Magmortar and Choice Band Primeape.
[SET]
name: Choice Scarf
move 1: Blizzard
move 2: Giga Drain / Energy Ball
move 3: Focus Blast
move 4:Earthquake / Rock Slide
item: Choice Scarf
ability: Snow Warning
nature: Hasty
evs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

  • Blizzard is strong Ice-type Stab, used for checking sun teams as Grass-types are a staple of them.
  • Giga Drain is a reliable Grass-type STAB that is reliable and gives HP back and it's used for checking rain teams as Water-types are a Staple of them, Energy Ball is a stronger STAB alternative that does not heal HP.
  • Focus Blast is coverage hitting Fire-types and steel types most notably Pyroar and Ferroseed.
  • Earthquake is used primarily for Assault Vest Magmotar it also scores a OHKO on Togedemaru.
Set Details
========

  • Choice Scarfs main use is for the checking of weather teams but is also good for revenge killing certain Pokemon particularly hitting both Grass-types and Water-types as well as Flying-types.
  • Snow Warning is used to cancel out opposing weather, also makes Blizzard 100% accurate
  • 252 Spatk and Speed are needed to hit reliable check weather.
  • Hasty is used as you need a positive speed nature to outpace positive-nature base 110's like Raichu-Alola, it also leaves Spdef in tact which Abomasnows typing fits better.

Usage Tips
========

  • Choice Scarf Abomasnow is used primarily for revenge killing not wallbreaking or sweeping like its other sets. It can be used to revenge kill Pokemon such as Victreebel, Life Orb Kabutops, Archeops and Alolan Dugtrio.
  • It does not like switching directly into battle as it has many common weaknesses so it is best to bring it in after a teammate has fainted or by Volt Switch and U-Turn.
  • Choice Scarf Abomasnow is quite uncommon and can net surprise knock outs fairly easily on Pokemon like Swanna and Lilligant.

Team Options
========

  • Water-types like Floatzel have great offensive synergy with Abomasnow as they beat common Fire-types such as Magmortar and Pyroar, while it takes on Grass-type Pokemon like Lurantis.
  • Paring it with a strong wallbreaker like Stoutland can open an opportunity for a sweep which is quite possible.
  • Abomasnow needs to be paired with some kind of hazard control as it is worn down very quickly by them. Hitmonchan works well with Choice Scarf Abomasnow as it forces out Steel-types like Ferroseed. Abomasnow also beats common spin blockers such as Golurk, Gourgeist and Calm Mind Oricorio-Sensu and actually lures in the latter.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

  • Choice Specs can be used for very powerful attacks but Abomasnow likes the ability to switch moves as it can check more things at once.
  • SubSeed + Snow Warning can be quite annoying but it is rather slow to use it effectively and is even further hindered by having seven weaknesses.
  • Resits berrys like Chople can be used to lure in certain threats but it loses a lot of power by dropping Life Orb or Grassium Z, Lum Berry is a decent option on Swords Dance as it can stop a Scald burn from crippling it completely.
  • Wood Hammer on Swords Dance hits very hard but you take a lot of recoil from it + Life Orb

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fighting-types**: Abomasnow struggles to break through Fighting-types like Gurdurr and Hitmonchan who can the latter being able to out prioritize Ice Shard with Mach Punch.

**Entry Hazards**: Abomasnow is used for both checking certain Pokemon and its offensive presence meaning it will coming on and off the field a lot which is never good for a rock weak Pokemon, it also severely lowers longevity along with Life Orb.

**Fire-types**: While it carries coverage for them it is oupaced by the majority of them and is highly threaten of there STABs.

**Steel-types**: Similarly to Fire-types, however Abomasnow may outpace most of them they are often times bulky enough to take at least one coverage move and can treaten back with STAB.

**Specially Bulky Normal-types**: Munchlax, and Type: Null can shurg off every hit Abomasnow throws at them bar the rare positive-SpA nature Focus Blast and can proceed to set up or retaliate with an attack. Thick Fat Miltank only fears Focus Blast and can heal off damage with Milk Drink and set up Stealth Rock against you.

Thought I'd suggest a few things:
  • Rock slide can be slashed with eq on scarf aboma as it lets it hit zard and still hits mortar.
  • I think it's worth stating that neither chan or gurdurr can directly switch in to aboma.
  • I'd mention miltank as another good check, as it pressures any sets without focus blast and threatens to cripple it with toxic or thunder wave.
  • I would unslash adamant on the sd set, as it loses out vs things like modest/ada wrath and modest colo.
  • Again, I'd unslash the mild nature on the lo set.

Not QC but here are some suggestions.
  • You should mention some drawbacks in the overview
  • Typically if you slash a move next to something you should mention that move in set comments
  • "252 Special Attack and Speed EVs let Abomasnow hit as hard as possible." It also allows Abomasnow to be as fast as possible
  • "Abomasnow should primarily be used offensively, but can be switched in on Pokemon like Gastrodon." but also has to watch out from being burned by scald and potential toxic
  • Not sure if you are done but you should add more to team options and include examples in my opinion
  • "Ice Shard is STAB priority, that can be used to clean late game" or pick off offensive pokemon that are low on heath
  • "Soundproof lets you avoid Roar, it can also be used to check Pyroar locked in to Hyper Voice, Snow Warning may be used for hail teams or getting extra chip damage." Maybe mention Boomburst from Chatot too?
  • Include examples of hazard control for the sd set in the team options section
  • For the Choice Scarf set you should add a mention of Energy Ball in set comments
  • again, mention hazard control examples for scarf set imo add add more to team options
  • I suppose you could mention growth in other options

Shuckle this is extremely barebones bud :/
[OVERVIEW]

  • Typing allows it check Pokemon, some offensively some defensively (expand this please)
  • Snow Warning gives 100% accurate blizzards and hard checks weather teams with scarf (it also offers residual damage on opponents and decreases recovery from moves like moonlight allowing it to check things like Musharna better)
  • Has priority (what priority, what's it used for)
  • Weak to Stealth Rock, it's typing leaves it weak to common attacking types like Fire and Fighting.

Moves
========
  • Seed Bomb is reliable physical grass stab, and lets you not be destroyed by recoil. (mention the recoil, which is wood hammer; it's also a non contact move so doesn't take damage from iron barbs or aftermath)
  • Earthquake is coverage for Steel-types and Fire-types. (like?)
  • Ice Shard is STAB priority, that can be used to clean late game (helps it pick off weakened mons too)
  • Swords Dance boosts your attack two stages, letting this set wallbreak or clean
Set Details

  • 252 Attack and Speed let gives you the best chance to clean or wallbreak.
  • Adamant is used for maximum damage, Jolly lets you outpace neutral-nature base 70s such as Ludicolo.
  • Life Orb is for increased damage out put.
  • Soundproof lets you avoid Roar, it can also be used to check Pyroar locked in to Hyper Voice as well as avoids damage from Chatos STABs, Snow Warning may be used for hail teams or getting extra chip damage.

Usage Tips
========

Try to add more to this, it's pretty lazy
  • Can be used effectively both mid and late game depending on situation at hand.
  • Swords Dance on predicted switches or weak attackers like Gastrodon.

Team Options
========

  • A fast physical cleaner like Lyconroc to take advantage of Abomasnows wallbreaking.
  • Mesprit, Resists fighting, appreciates Healing Wish. (expand)
  • Really appreciates spikes for cleaning but doesn't like to stack weakness with Roselia. (qwil? weezing?)
  • Hazard control, like Hitmonchan with Rapid Spin or Swanna, Swanna also has good offenisve typing with Abomasnow and can help check Fighting-types for it.
  • Fire resists, so rock types or water types

[OVERVIEW]

  • Abomasnow has a unique Grass and Ice dual typing allowing it check certain Pokemon such as Gastrodon, Lanturn, and Floatzel and Lilligant. (right. you want to start off mentioning its great offensive typing, its strong stab attacks (blizzard, wood hammer, even giga drain), and high offensive stats, which allow it to run mixed sets or biased sets effectively. this makes it an excellent wallbreaker) (this also makes it somewhat unpredictable) (this could either be one bullet point, or three)
  • Snow Warning gives 100% accurate blizzards and hard checks weather teams with scarf (separate this out an add the mention about the choice scarf set to the point above) (along with giving it a spammable stab, it also reduces healing and delivers chip damage. helps with breaking sash/sturdy, etc.)
  • separate bullet point detailing how it disrupts weather teams, especially the choice scarf variant, thanks to the previously mentioned snow warning
  • STAB priority in Ice Shard can be used to pick off weakened offensive foes such as Ninjask. (priority overall makes up for its middling speed. mention things like archeops and whatnot, as mentioning such a low ranked pokemon seems extremely weird)
  • Weak to Stealth Rock, it's typing leaves it weak to common attacking types like Fire and Fighting. (this needs serious expansion. its typing means that it has a lot of weaknesses (highlight them and common pokemon) meaning it is generally unable to switch directly into attacks or pokemon. also grants a weakness to stealth rock and overall all entry hazards are detrimental to abomasnow. mention its low speed and how it's outpaced by quite a large portion of the meta)
[SET]
name: Mixed Attacker
move 1: Giga Drain / Wood Hammer
move 2: Blizzard (put blizzard first)
move 3: Earthquake / Focus Blast
move 4: Ice Shard

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
  • Giga Drain is reliable special STAB that can help keep Abomasnow healthy, alternatively Wood Hammer can be used to hit Lanturn and Hitmonchan for much higher damage. (swap this with the second bullet point) (wood hammer however wear you down way faster compared to giga drain) (giga drain helps with life orb recoil too) (remove lanturn and mention something like clefairy or jynx, because lant already takes a lot from giga drain regardless)
  • Blizzard is it's strongest available Ice STAB complimented very well by Snow Warning making it a 100% accurate move.
  • Earthquake hits Steel- and Fire-types that resist its STABs, doing massive damage to foes like Magmortar and Togedemaru. Focus Blast can be used here to threaten Ferroseed and specially defenisve Miltank. (focus blast is used to pressure ferroseed and miltank more. blizzard however already threatens ferroseed a lot. i'd mention specifically thick fat miltank too)
  • Ice Shard is good priority allowing you to pick off weakened offensive threats as well as soft checking Jumpluff, Archeops and other Flying-types. (also means it's not totally deadweight versus more offensive teams, and gives it a move to revenge kill weakened faster pokemon)

Set Details
========

(these three bullet points can be combined and the below one too)
  • Mild and Hasty are chosen as Abomasnow's typing aides it in checking Grass and Water types better, which are primarily special.
  • Snow Warning makes Blizzard 100% accurate (neuters things like musharna and recovery for other pokemon, stops other forms of weather, deals chip damage, breaks focus sash and sturdy)
  • Life Orb increases damage output, with the down side of recoil for every turn. (it's the preferred item as abomasnow loves the ability to use all of its coverage options to wallbreak)

Usage Tips
========

  • Abomasnow should primarily be used offensively, but can be switched in on Pokemon like Gastrodon bar Toxic. (you need to expand here, loads. what is it mainly used for, what situations, etc. how should it be brought in? it should generally be used towards the start of the game to break down teams for (setup) sweepers and cleaners)
  • Once Abomasnow is in you will want to be clicking Blizzard as much as possible. (why? expand this and go into detail about when blizzard should be used. e.g. if the opponent lacks ice resists or their ice resist is something like lant which can be abused)
  • Go for coverage in absolutely necessary situations. (you need to explain these situations, all of them, in detail. you know what they are)
  • Ice Shard should be used to pick off low health Pokemon and used to threaten faster Flying-types. (revenge kill, helps against more offensive teams)
  • should avoid switching in to hazards too much, as it's easily worn down by them

Team Options
========

(what fire-types? swanna doesn't threaten pyroar for example, so i'd definitely specify for clarity. hitmonchan can also check fire- and ice-types with its assault vest set and appreciates physical walls like mesprit being broken for it)
  • Pokemon with Volt Switch or U-turn make good partners for Abomasnow as they can give it a free entry in to battle. (you say take advantage of, but I feel like you could go into just a slight bit more detail. how does it take advantage? it's also worth noting that you have to be careful of pivoting with primeape, as it can sometimes result in abomasnow taking damage that it doesn't want to take)
  • Water-types such as Gastrodon and Poliwrath check Fire-types and Steel-Types that threaten Abomasnow, where Abomasnow can check the Grass-types that threaten them. (qwilfish is a better mention over gastrodon, as it can set hazards, walls things like hitmonchan, and can disrupt. abomasnow helps it as it invites in things like lant and other such things)
  • Fighting-type resists such as Mesprit and Sableye are a must with Abomasnow as it has a terrible match up against Fighting-type Pokemon. (expand. why. what do they check. what else do they offer. what does aboma do in return)

Moves
========

Set Details
========

Usage Tips
========

========

Other Options
=============

===================

This is unorthodox of me and is the first time I've done this. I'm taking away from first stamp from earlier and asking that you add my suggestions. I've only done them for the first set and the overview. However, the quality is extremely low and I know you can do far better. Read what I've written for the first set and apply this universally throughout your analysis; mainly because I didn't want to repeat the same things. Some sections are lacking in a large amount of detail, mainly the usage tips and team options sections, which shouldn't happen for a Pokémon as versatile as Abomasnow. I also want you to read the Gen 6 Abomasnow analysis for NU and work to this kind of detail. If you need help, please PM me on Discord. I will give this a proper check once you've at least made it acceptable for QC.
