Kyurem-W's analysis for Balanced Hackmons is finally ready for upload.

Overview

Unlike other -ate users, Kyurem-W does not rely on priority. While it is weak to them because of its poor defensive stats, it has the potential to fire off strong attacks with its monsterous base 170 Special Attack stat. In addition, Kyurem-W’s unique typing allows it to purge through walls such as Zygarde-C, defensive Primal Groudon variants, Giratina, and Fur Coat users that do not resist its STAB moves.

In addition, Kyurem-W's STAB combination is only resisted by Steel-types, and this gives it a niche due to its capability to purge through defense-oriented teams. It's somewhat easy to prepare a wall for Imposter by carefully choosing coverage moves.

However, weakness to entry hazards usually limit the times Kyurem-W can switch in. Kyurem-W's typing does not provide much resistances and its defensive stats are not impressive. Therefore, it is easily revenge killed or forced out. In addition, Kyurem-W is forced to equip Choice Items to fulfill its role: Choice Scarf is needed to outspeed many threats such as all Mewtwo variants with its mediocre base 95 Speed, and Choice Specs is required to net guaranteed OHKO against Assault Vest Zygarde-C, Giratina, and Primal Groudon.

Moves

Boomburst is mandatory in this set due to its ridiculous raw power that allows Kyurem-W to purge through bulky Ground-types and Dragon-types. It also dents anything that doesn’t resist it, including all forms of Primal Groudon and Mewtwo. Techno Blast can be used if one is wary of walls with Soundproof such as Mega Slowbro and Mega Aggron, but it has significantly low PP and is unable to hit through Substitutes. Extreme Speed can be used to pick up on weak or frail foes once they lack anti-priority abilities or field conditions. Secret Sword can be used to make Kyurem-W a mixed sweeper by targeting specially defensive walls that are not capable of taking many physical damage, such as defensive variants of Chansey and Mega Gyarados, while Blue Flare is another option to hit aforementioned foes with better power and apply considerable chance to burn in exchange of having imperfect accuracy. Core Enforcer is a good option that has high Base Power and is STAB while nullifying the switch-in's abilities. Draco Meteor can be used to launch a strong attack, but it weakens Kyurem-W afterwards and is generally inferior to Refrigerated Boomburst. Switcheroo can be used to cripple walls that prevent Kyurem-W from fulfilling its role, while Moongeist Beam can be used to target Solgaleo or Sturdy Shedinja. Finally, Volt Switch can be utilized to hit the likes of Primal Kyogre or Mega Gyarados super effectively while maintaining momentum.

Set Details

One should always choose a nature that boosts Speed regardless of the item Kyurem-W is holding. Such investment will allow Kyurem-W with Choice Scarf to outspeed threats including all Mewtwo variants, Mega Rayquaza that lacks priority, and other Choice Scarf users with base Speed below 95. A Naive nature should be chosen if Extreme Speed is included in the set in order to allow Kyurem-W to safely OHKO Pheromosa and Deoxys-A that lack Dazzling or Queenly Majesty and is not under Psychic Terrain. Choice Scarf is generally preferred due to the fact that Kyurem-W cannot outspeed unboosted Mega Mewtwo Y, Mega Gengar, and Deoxys-A. Choice Specs provides Kyurem-W with significantly better power, allowing it to 2HKO foes such as Kyogre or Registeel after some prior damage and depending on their investment.

Usage Tips

Kyurem-W is relatively frail, especially with a Naive nature. Therefore, it should never switch into any attacks other than weak attacks like U-turns from slow pivots. Even they can be risky to switch into, though, as many RegenVest pivots like Solgaleo and Mega Gyarados having high-Base Power attacks. When Kyurem-W's HP is low, never send it into the battle until its checks, such as the likes of Registeel, Solgaleo, and Primal Kyogre, are gone. Especially if it still has its Choice item, one should try their best to protect Kyurem-W due to its late-game sweeping potential, especially if it has Choice Scarf. In addition, if Kyurem-W is holding Choice item, one should make serious consideration before deciding to lock Kyurem-W into Extreme Speed. It is vitally important not to use Extreme Speed until one ensures the foe is susceptible to priority moves. Failure to do so will immediately turn Kyurem-W into setup fodder, unless it has already passed its Choice Scarf to the foe. Another fact to be aware of when using Choice-locked Kyurem-W is that choosing coverage moves like Earth Power will give an opportunity for Flying-types to freely switch in without harm. Switcheroo should be used when one can clearly predict the switch against Kyurem-W. Common switch-ins for Kyurem-W include Registeel, Aegislash, Mega Gyarados, and Solgaleo. RegenVest pivots like Mega Gyarados and Solgaleo will have their walling capabilities significantly hindered without Assault Vest and no longer be able to perform slow U-turn after they are locked into Choice Scarf.

Team Options

Slow pivots with moves such as U-turn and Parting Shot, such as Mega Gyarados, Mega Audino, Registeel, and Solgaleo are great support for Kyurem-W, since they allow Kyurem-W to safely switch into a foe whose Focus Sash is not intact or weakened from Parting Shot. Also, due to its weakness to Stealth Rock, entry hazard removers are mandatory on a team. Good options for this case will be RegenVest pivots with Rapid Spin or bulky allies with Defog such as Zygarde-C, Registeel, and Mega Audino. Even if Kyurem-W may have high Speed with Choice Scarf, anti-priority support from a team is necessary due to the abundance of Triage. A lead with Psychic Surge, such as Mega Mewtwo Y, or any fast ally would be a good option. This set needs Imposter-proofing support. One should always have an ally that can check their own Kyurem-W, since no moves from the set above can OHKO its own Imposter, even with critical hits. Steel-types that can take Boomburst, Dragon-type moves, and coverage moves will be a great option in terms of checking an Imposter. Primal Groudon pairs well with Kyurem-W, since it can check specially bulky foes or problematic Steel-types. It can threaten all Fairy-types, Gyarados that lack Water-type moves, Solgaleo, Registeel, defensive Dialga, and Aegislash all of which Kyurem-W have a hard time purging through. Teammates that can deal with sudden burst of damage or boosts from set ups are necessary due to the fact that Kyurem-W will have to switch after firing off an attack and allows another foe to switch in while Kyurem-W is locked into a move that they can take.

- Leaf Storm / Moongeist Beam
- Switcheroo

Set Comments

Moves

Draco Meteor is the main STAB and spammable move, denting Pokemon that resist it after couple boosts from Contrary. Overheat is another Contrary-utilizing move that can dent Steel-types such as Solgaleo and Registeel, which wall Kyurem-W without such coverage. Unlike the previous two boosting moves, Leaf Storm can be used to break through Water-types, such as Mega Gyarados and Primal Kyogre. Moongeist Beam, if Kyurem-W has already passed its Choice Scarf to the foe, can be used to break through Unaware or Sturdy Shedinja that would otherwise wall this set. Switcheroo can be used to cripple walls that disrupt the whole team, locking them into a single move.

Set Details

A Modest nature is not preferred due to its inability to let Kyurem-W outspeed other Choice Scarf users or the likes of Mega Mewtwo Y and Pheromosa. Choice Specs is not necessary, as Contrary allows Kyurem-W to constantly gain Special Attack boosts, and Choice Scarf is much better in terms of late-game clean up. Life Orb can be used to boost Kyurem-W's power, but it leaves it very vulnerable against faster foes or its own Imposter. A Naive nature is an interesting and considerable option, as it allows Kyurem-W to OHKO its own Imposter after a single Contrary boost from Draco Meteor, as the Imposter will copy a nature that decreases their Special Defense. Choice Scarf will allow Kyurem-W to win the Speed tie in this case unless Imposter Blissey holds a Choice Scarf.

Usage Tips

Kyurem-W should switch in after a slow U-turn or Parting Shot from allies due to its relatively poor typing and unimpressive bulk. When the opponent has defensive walls, make sure that they do not have Unaware or rare Innards Out from the likes of Lunala or Kyurem-B, which have fairly high HP stat that can be utilized in such a case. Switcheroo, while it can cripple walls, will lock Kyurem-W into mediocre Speed in exchange; therefore, careful considerations are required before using it. Even Spectral Thief users with Focus Sash will be unable to stop this set, as they can only take boosts from Special Attack, meaning they won't be able to do major damage to Kyurem-W in return.

Team Options

Due to Kyurem-W's terrifying power that can potentially be boosted by Contrary, there are very limited number of sets that can wall this set, such as Unaware. Allies that can scout for abilities, such as Normalize Mega Gengar with Entrainment, are the best partner for Kyurem-W. In addition, Draco Meteor has 90% accuracy, and that means Kyurem-W will sometimes fail to check its own Imposter. Therefore, having a Fairy-type Unaware wall in the team, such as Mega Audino or Xerneas, will prevent Kyurem-W's team being swept by their own ally. If one wishes to sweep with non-Choice Scarf Kyurem-W with Contrary, a partner that can use Sticky Web and block Rapid Spin, such as Giratina or Aegislash, are going to be a great option.

Other Options

If one favors safer Dragon-type moves, Clanging Scales can be replaced with Core Enforcer on the Refrigerate set. Not having Core Enforcer will let RegenVest pivot in one's team to remain healthy while constantly checking Imposter transformed as Kyurem-W. A different set with Draco Plate, Judgment, Ice Beam, Moongeist Beam, and Quiver Dance with Dazzling can be a fast sweeper that is not locked into one move while also being able to hit its own Imposter super effectively. However, this set is easily walled or threatened by Prankster Pokemon with Haze, bulky foes with Spectral Thief, or any Unaware foes with type advantage. Using Galvanize with a set of Boomburst, Ice Beam, Moongeist Beam or Blue Flare, and Switcheroo can be instead of Refrigerate to surprise the foe. This set allows Kyurem-W to check Water-type switch-ins such as Mega Gyarados and Primal Kyogre that can easily wall Refrigerate set, but this is generally inferior to Refrigerate set outside of this.

Checks and Counters

Solgaleo: While other Steel-types are threatened by coverage moves such as Earth Power and Secret Sword, Solgaleo can take a couple of hits thanks to its massive base HP stat of 137. Especially if it has Regenerator with Assault Vest, even Moongeist Beam will not be able to 2HKO Solgaleo unless Choice Specs set is used. After sponging the damage, Solgaleo can retaliate with Sunsteel Strike, with Metal Burst, or by removing Kyurem-W's Choice item. However, Solgaleo must be always wary of Blue Flare, which has a relatively high chance of burning it and has a chance of 2HKOing it after some prior damage.

Priority: Pokemon with Triage and -ate abilities always threaten Kyurem-W when Psychic Terrain is not active. Especially the likes of Pixilate Mega Diancie can always force out Kyurem-W or OHKO with Pixilate-boosted Extreme Speed.

Bulky Water-types: RegenVest Mega Gyarados can take anything from Refrigerate set except some rare coverage moves like Secret Sword. It can hit back with Knock Off or switch into Kyurem-W's check using slow U-turn. Kyogre's high Special Defense stat with resistance to Ice allows it to take most of coverage moves.

Entry Hazards: Kyurem-W loses a quarter of its health when it switches into Stealth Rock. Also, it is vulnerable to Spikes, Toxic Spikes, and Sticky Web. Therefore, a support with Rapid Spin or Defog is almost mandatory in the team.

Status: Just like other sweepers, Kyurem-W hates status. Paralysis will make Kyurem-W fail to fulfill its role of outspeeding threats and forcing them out with Choice Scarf, and poison puts a timer on Kyurem-W.

Switcheroo-immune Walls: Mega Audino or Steel-types with Z-crystals can consistently wall Kyurem-W while not being crippled by being locked into Choice item.

Soundproof Users: Although uncommon, Soundproof users that resist Kyurem-W's coverage moves can quite easily wall it due to the fact that they do not take any damage from Refrigerated Boomburst.

1v1 Crustle is ready for GP
Charizard is in GP, so here comes Crustle.
QC [3/3]

Overview

Crustle's excellent ability in Sturdy allows it to live an attack from any Pokemon that lacks Mold Breaker, while a great movepool gives it access to moves such as Shell Smash, Rock Wrecker, Earthquake and Counter. A decent Rock / Bug typing allows it to take on common metagame pick such as Mega Charizard Y and Porygon Z, and solid stats allow it to both take and deal damage reliably. However, its mediocre speed stat leaves it vulnerable to fast attackers, even after boosting, and a weakness to Water- and Steel-type attacks lets Pokemon such as Mega Gyarados and Mega Metagross take it out. It also has very few options for sets, which makes it very predictable and limits its ability to bypass answers

Shell Smash Attacker
Crustle @ Rockium Z
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 112 HP / 40 Def / 244 Atk / 112 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Rock Wrecker
- Shell Smash
- Earthquake
- Counter / Rock Blast

Set Comments

Moves

Rock Wrecker is a powerful STAB attack, hitting extremely hard even without boosts and boosting Continental Crush to an incredible 200 Base Power; Continental Crush is used to deal heavy damage to most of the metagame; since Z-moves lack the downsides of the base move it can be immediately followed by another attack. Shell Smash boosts Crustle's Attack and Speed, allowing it to outpace and KO most of the metagame. Earthquake rounds out Crustle's EdgeQuake coverage and hits Steel-type Pokemon that resist Rock-type attacks such as Aegislash and Magearna. Counter allows Crustle to take on most physical attackers that lack sturdy themselves, while Rock Blast is another option to bypass opposing Substitute, Mimikyu, and Crustle more reliably but leaves Crustle walled by Ground-type Pokemon such as Garchomp.

Set Details

112 HP EVs in combination with 40 Defense EVs allow Crustle to always live a Waterfall from Mega Gyarados. 112 Spe Evs ensure that Crustle outspeed Max Speed Deoxys-D after a Shell Smash. The remaining EVs are put into Attack alongside an Adamant Nature to maximize Crustle's Damage output. Sturdy allows Crustle to live a single hit from any Pokemon that lacks Mold Breaker. Rockium Z is chosen to turn Rock Wrecker into a powerful Continental Crush.

Usage Tips

Click Shell Smash versus Pokemon that are less than twice as fast as Crustle such as Deoxys-D or Meloetta or those that Crustle cannot OHKO. If your opponent is or may be faster than +2 Crustle, however, attack instead of using Shell Smash; use Continental Crush instead of Rock Wrecker for the greater damage and lack of recharge turn in case they survive the attack. If you are fighting a Mimikyu or a substitute user, use Rock Blast to break Disguise and deal damage at once. Use Counter to take out physical attackers that resist Rock-type attacks or can live an attack such as Garchomp.

Team Options

Checks to Mega Gyarados, such as Magearna and Tapu Koko, are required to prevent that from taking advantage of Crustle. Steel-type answers such as Mega Charizard Y, Garchomp, and Keldeo are handy to take out those for Crustle, while Pokemon that can take on Kyurem-B, such as Mega Charizard X, Magearna, and Mega Slowbro, are useful to handle that for Crustle. Crustle's only decent damage output gives it difficulty breaking walls, so answers such as Taunt Tapu Lele and Mega Charizard Y are useful to handle that. Grass- and Steel-type Pokemon such as Mega Venusaur, Kartana, and Aegislash appreciate Crustle checking Fire-type Pokemon like Mega Charizard Y and Victini, while in exchange they take on the Ground-type Pokemon Crustle struggles with.

Strategy Comments

Other Options

X-Scissor may be used as a straight substitution over Counter, but has few targets and is weaker than even resisted Continental Crush. An alternative spread with 192 Attack, 164 Speed, X-Scissor and Buginium Z can be used to take on Mega Gyarados, Garchomp, and Mega Slowbro, but is far more specific. Choice Band can be used for more power on coverage moves such as Earthquake and a slightly more powerful Rock-type STAB move, but is overall worse and prevents the use of Shell Smash.

Checks and Counters

Mold Breaker: Crustle relies on Sturdy to allow it to survive attacks due to its low speed, so Pokemon that can bypass it via Mold Breaker can take it out. Mega Gyarados and Subzero Slammer Kyurem-B in particular are annoying, as they have the power to KO it in a single hit without specific sets.

Sturdy: Due to Crustle's low speed and lack of priority, opposing Sturdy Pokemon such as Donphan, Golem, and Sawk can take it on reliably. The only Sturdy Pokemon Crustle can reliably handle are Bastiodon and slow Magnezone.

Bulky Physical Walls: Pokemon that can take Crustle's attacks, such as Mega Slowbro, Blissey, and Umbreon, are very annoying for Crustle to face. Since Shell Smash has very low PP, Crustle cannot stall out Charm either, so any wall that runs that can handle Crustle easily.

Steel-type Pokemon: Steel-type Pokemon resist Bug- and Rock-type attacks, leaving Crustle with only the weak Earthquake as an option. Steel-type Pokemon such as Magearna and Heatran can also bypass that with an Air Baloon, allowing them to even more fully wall crustle.

Flinches: Flinches deal damage and break Crustle's Sturdy, allowing Pokemon such as Hitmonlee to bypass its best line of defense without giving it a chance to react. Jirachi in particular is annoying, as Iron Head put the game entirely in the hands of RNG.

Reserving Primal Kyogre
E: Quality Control
QC: 3/3 GP: 0/1
Overview

Primal Kyogre's excellent Water typing gives it good coverage, key resistances to types such as Fire and Water, and only one relevant weakness in Electric. Its powerful Special Attack and usable Speed allows it to run several offensive sets. Good special bulk gives Primal Kyogre many chances to set up, while Poison Heal lets Primal Kyogre reliably beat imposters. Primal Kyogre it very splashable and needs little team support, but a vulnerability to Core Enforcer limits what it can safely take on. Primal Kyogre is also weak to Galvanize, meaning that it can be revenge killed no matter how set up it is, and it can only fulfill a limited number of roles on a given set, forcing it to choose what answers it. Furthermore, its dominating effect on the BH metagame ensures that answers are present for it on every BH team.

PH Setup Sweeper
Kyogre-Primal @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Scald
- Quiver Dance
- Leech Seed / Spore
- Ice Beam / Moonblast / Freeze Dry

Set Comments

Moves
Scald is Primal Kyogre's primary STAB option, spreading burns, particularly versus imposters, and hitting most of the metagame for solid damage; it has more PP that Steam Eruption, allowing Primal Kyogre to use it regularly, and is more accurate to boot.Quiver Dance boosts Kyogre's Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed, turning it into a fearsome and bulky sweeper. Leech Seed allows Primal Kyogre to better handle Imposter Pokemon and Shedinja, as well as easing setup. Spore may be used to gain setup opportunities without aiding imposter. Ice Beam hits Dragon-types, particularly Mega Rayquaza, for super effective damage. Moonblast is a slightly stronger option that does more to most Dragon-type Pokemon and Water-types, particularly Kyurem-Black, Giratina, and other Primal Kyogre, at the cost of a worse matchup versus Chansey and Desolate Land Primal Groudon. Freeze Dry offers similar, if weaker, coverage, but hits Water-types super effectively and allows Primal kyogre to better handle the mirror matchup.

Set Details

252 EVs are placed in every stat bar attack, as Primal Kyogre has no other stat it wishes to minimize. A Timid Nature is used to maximize Primal Kyogre's speed and allow it to tie base 90 Speed Pokemon such as Primal Groudon. Toxic Orb Poisons Primal Kyogre and lets it activate Poison Heal, which lets Primal Kyogre passively recover HP and allows it to 1v1 most imposter sets.

Usage Tips

You should activate Primal Kyogre's Toxic Orb as quickly as feasible so it can heal on the turn it switches in and absorb status, particularly Sleep, for the team; for this reason avoid switching Primal Kyogre in until its Toxic Orb has activated, as a surprise Will-o-Wisp or Knock Off can cripple it for the match. Once Primal Kyogre checks such as Unaware Mega Audino and Water Absorb Magearna are removed or worn down, bring it in on something it defeats such as Mega Gyarados or Zygarde and set up. Be wary of Core Enforcer from Pokemon such as Dialga and Giratina, as the loss of its ability causes Primal Kyogre to quickly faint to Toxic damage. If you don't know what the foe is going to do, it's often a good option to click Scald to spread burns and deal solid damage to most switch-ins. This set is vulnerable to Spectral Thief, so avoid setting up if you know the opposing Pokemon carries that.

Team Options

Poison Heal Primal Kyogre is largely self-sufficient and needs little team support to function. However, Kyogre appreciates pivots such Registeel and Celesteela to bring it in safely. Pokemon that can take boosted hits, such as Chansey and Unaware walls, are handy in case a sufficiently lucky imposter or a Lucky Punch Chansey defeats Primal Kyogre with critical hits. Wallbreakers such as Choice Specs Mega Rayquaza are also handy to defeat bulky Pokemon that can wall even boosted Primal Kyogre such as Unaware or Water Absorb Mega Audino; physical ones such as Primal Groudon are particularly handy to force out the special walls such as Chansey. Fairy- and Steel-type Pokemon such as Xerneas and Registeel are also useful to switch into Core Enforcer, as Primal Kyogre experiences great issues after its ability is lost.

RegenVest Pivot
Kyogre-Primal @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Core Enforcer
- Scald
- Spectral Thief / Rapid Spin
- Volt Switch / U-turn

Set Comments

Moves

Core Enforcer deactivates the abilities of switch-ins and Faster Pokemon, allowing Primal Kyogre to handle Poison Heal Pokemon such as Primal Kyogre, Regigigas, and Giratina. Scald is a reliable STAB option that spreads burns and deals solid damage to most switch-ins, particularly those unbothered by Core Enforcer such as Mega Audino. Spectral Theif steals opposing Stat Boosts, preventing Pokemon from readily setting up on Primal Kyogre, and allows it to better check boosted setup sweepers. Should that be handled elsewhere, however, Rapid Spin may instead be used to clear entry hazards. Volt Switch and Rapid Spin are pivoting options to gain momentum for Pimal Kyogre's teammates and activate Regenerator; Volt Switch deals more damage, but U-turn has no immunities that block switches.

Set Details

252 EVs are placed in every stat bar Speed to maximize Primal Kyogre's bulk and damage output; Speed is neglected to allow Primal Kyogre to pivot out after the foe moves to gain momentum. An Assault Vest is used to allow Primal Kyogre to check powerful special Attackers such as Mega Rayquaza, Mega Gengar, and opposing Primal Kyogre more reliably. Regenerator allows Primal Kyogre to heal without wasting moves or turns, which lets it reliably check Pokemon throughout the match.

Usage Tips

Freely switch Primal Kyogre into most Special Attackers, as it can scout for unfavorable coverage and still function if they possess it. Conserve Core Enforcer and Spectral Thief pp whenever possible, as they are usually needed to check sweepers throughout the match. Scald and pivoting are Primal Kyogre's go-to move options, as few things punish their use; be warned, however, that pivoting out of something threatening as it sets up can often force you to sacrifice a Pokemon to bring Primal Kyogre back in safely. Don't be too obvious with the use of rapid spin, as while Primal Kyogre can beat most spinblcockers it does so much more reliably if it hits them on the switch in.

Team Options

This set pairs well with other pivots such as Dialga, Registeel, and Mega Audino pair well with this set, as they can form VoltTurn cores and wear down the opposing team. Imposter Chansey also pairs well with this set, as it can provide a reliable target to pivot into and appreciates Primal Kyogre checking Poison Heal Pokemon for it. Checks to Physical Attackers, such as Giratina, Zygarde, and Aegislash, are also appreciated due to Primal Kyogre's lower defense stat. Bulky Pokemon such as Solgaleo and Zygarde-C are also handy to use versus imposters, but no special resistances are needed for the role.

Strategy Comments

Other Options

Taunt is a usable option to stop recovery, Haze, and other Poison Heal Kyogres, but leaves Primal Kyogre vulnerable to Magic Bounce. Water Spout may also be used over Scald for greater power, but the lack of PP and burn chance is also unfortunate. A Fur Coat set may be used to have a solid pivot option, but it generally worse than simply running a Regenerator set or a different Fur Coat wall. Earth Power usable over Ice Beam or Moonblast on the Poison Heal set to defeat Water Absorb Steel-type Pokemon and Desolate Land Primal Groudon, but it generally inferior to the listed moves. Knock Off may be used to remove items with the RegenVest set, but comes at the cost of a more important move.

Checks and Counters

Water-type Answers : Since they are immune to Kyogre's STAB moves, Water Absorb and Desolate Land Pokemon such as Mega Audino and Primal Groudon can check Primal Kyogre easily. While they can be hit by coverage, they can take the hits and block setup or force out Primal Kyogre with a higher damage output. Water-type resistances such as RegenVest Primal Kyogre and Dialga, meanwhile, can come in and defeat Primal Kyogre with utility moves such as Spectral Thief and Core Enforcer.

Ability Removal: Primal Kyogre is uniformly reliant on its ability, so any means of suppression, from Core Enforcer on Pokemon such as Zygarde to Entrainment Mega Gengar. Poison Heal sets will quickly faint to the rapidly exponential Toxic damage and rely heavily on the healing given, while the Regenerator set relies entirely on its healing to function.

Super Effective Attacks: While Primal Kyogre is bulky, it has difficulty taking Super Effective hits throughout a match. For this reason, Bolt Strike Kyurem-B, Zekrom, and Mega Sceptile all give it major issues with fulfilling its role.
Ready for GP.
