[OVERVIEW]

  • sticky web gives araquanid a niche as a webs setting lead
  • its ability water bubble gives it the ability to perform as a strong attacker as well to at least make dents in the opposing team
  • subpar utility movepool outside of sticky web causes araquanid to only be used as a hazard setting lead and is dead weight on most teams outside of that

[SET]
name: Sticky Web Lead
move 1: Sticky Web
move 2: Liqiudation
move 3: Toxic
move 4: Magic Coat
item: Focus Sash
ability: Water Bubble
nature: Adamant
evs: 104 HP / 252 Atk / 152 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

  • araquanid can set up sticky web to cripple the speed of foes to support its teammates
  • liquidation is araquanid's strongest stab move and is further boosted by water bubble, which allows it to make dents in the opponent's team
  • toxic allows araquanid to badly poison foes that it otherwise cant hit with liquidation like manaphy, keldeo, and pelipper
  • magic coat lets araquanid deflect foes' entry hazards like ferrothorn's spikes and heatran's stealth rock, as well as status moves.

Set Details
========

  • maximum atk evs with an adamant nature let araquanid make big dents in the opposing team
  • 152 speed evs let araquanid outrun clefable and pokemon slower than it, like alolan marowak, chansey, and mega sableye
  • water bubble doubles araquanids attack when it uses liquidation, causing it to act as a pseudo-huge power, letting hit araquanid hit all unresisted foes extremely hard
  • water bubble also prevents araquanid from being burned and halves the damage of fire-type attacks used on it, making it easier for araquanid to do its job

Usage Tips
========

  • arquanid is a lead, so try to start off with it and set up sticky web unless the opponent has a magic bounce mon like mega sableye or mega diancie and you suspect that they'll start with it
  • after araquanid has set up sticky web, try to spam liquidation against neutrally effected targets to make dents in the opposing team to make it easier for araquanid's teammates to ko foes later on
  • if the foe resists liquidation, try to badly poison it to inflict residual damage onto it and eventually force it out
  • try to use magic coat against opposing entry hazard setters like ferrothorn, heatran, and opposing araquanid to avoid having to have a teammate clear the entry hazards with defog and and re set up sticky web
  • if there is a chance that araquanid will need to set up sticky web again later in the match and it is still has a decent amount of hp remaining, dont keep it in unless necessary to allow teammates to perform effectively

Team Options
========

  • araquanids main niche lies in setting up sticky web and therefore doesnt need much support covering weaknesses
  • pokemon with middling speed tiers like blacephalon, exacdrill, zygarde, and manaphy really appreciate araquanid's sticky web support, as it allows them to outspeed foes they otherwise wouldnt
  • excadrill and araquanid synergize especially well together because excadrill's middling speed is less of a worry due to the webs araquanid sets up, and excadrill can clear any entry hazards that are set up on your side of the field without having to worry about clearing the sticky web that araquanid sets up due to rapid spin
  • while less important, excadrill and araquanid also have perfect type synergy, as excadrill either resists or is immune to all of araquanid's weaknesses, and the same applies for araquanid to excadrill's weaknesses

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

  • araquanid cant really do anything useful in ou besides set up sticky web
  • using scald over liquidation with maximum special attack and a modest nature can be used to burn physical attackers but conflicts with toxic
  • a defensive set with an ev spread of 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 SpD and an Impish nature and Leftovers can be used, as it lets araquanid live hits like Diamond Storm from mega diancie without having to rely on focus sash and ko it in return, but it doesnt live much else that it would guaranteed live with sash

Okay QC team has decided to reassign this. Not only are you basically just riding the deadline like usual, but it's so obvious that you have little to no experience using this Pokemon. It's very clear what is basically stan's writing rewritten in your own words, and what is genuinely yours.

For a Sticky Web Pokemon, it should be very easy to list really obvious teammates because Webs is by no means something that is new, and has been around and fleshed out for ages. You basically listed one semi uncommon teammate in Manaphy, which is more on Veil than Webs anyway. No mention of very commonly seen teammates such as Bisharp, Mimikyu, Landorus-T, Mega Pinsir, etc. Instead, you mention Excadrill three times, which is by no means, a very commonly used Webs teammate. Like sure, nothing wrong with Excadrill I guess but like, THREE times? Is there really nothing else you can think of?

using scald over liquidation with maximum special attack and a modest nature can be used to burn physical attackers but conflicts with toxic
I'm not sure why in any world someone would consider using this when it turns Araquanid from a really strong attacker into a piss weak 30% burn machine, aka, losing its main niche. Like this just doesn't make any sense.

Between reserving Pokemon that you clearly have very little experience using, riding deadlines, and reserving GP checks multiple times w/o actually doing them until a QC member tags you, I'd say welcome to the blacklist my friend.
