[OVERVIEW]
Audino can serve as a Wish passer, a special wall, or even a cleric and does very well on stall, especially with its high HP, good defenses, decent defensive typing, and access to Regenerator. Regenerator allows Audino to Wish pass, pivot, and switch into special attacks more effectively all while maintaining high HP. However, Audino can be very passive and a momentum drain at times with its low offenses, so it doesn't fit too well on offensive teams. It is also easily worn down once afflicted with status conditions or Taunt, crippled by Trick and Switcheroo, and easily used as setup fodder, depending on the set. Finally, it faces competition from Pokemon like Miltank, which serves as a cleric as well, even if it cannot Wish pass, and Clefairy as a special wall.

[SET]
name: Wish Passer

move 3: Knock Off
move 4: Heal Bell / Encore
item: Leftovers
ability: Regenerator
nature: Careful
evs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]

Moves
========

Wish is run to allow Audino to heal both its teammates and itself. Protect guarantees Audino gets Wish recovery and lets it scout for moves. Knock Off allows Audino to cripple threats that depend on their items, such as Eviolite users like Ferroseed and Clefairy and Choice item users such as Pyroar and Aggron. Like Wish, Heal Bell lets Audino provide support for both its teammates and itself, though it does so by healing status conditions. Encore can lock Pokemon into moves, stopping potential setup sweepers and allowing teammates to switch in more easily. Toxic can be used to deal with bulkier foes, such as Lanturn and Musharna, while preventing Audino from being too passive.

Set Details
========

248 EVs in HP and 252 EVs in Special Defense along with a Careful nature allow Audino to take as little as possible from special attackers such as Manectric and Floatzel. The constant recovery from Leftovers makes Audino harder to break down. Regenerator makes it easier for Audino to switch in and out, allowing it to more easily check foes while also making Wish passing more effective by restoring both the incoming Pokemon's and Audino's health.

Usage Tips
========

Audino is best used against special attackers, which it can also set up Wish against. If you predict that a faster Pokemon will set up on Audino, try to use Encore on them the first turn they try to set up. When facing a Choice item user such as Floatzel or Manectric, be wary of Trick and Switcheroo. Audino can use Knock Off on incoming physical attackers such as Gurdurr and Stoutland as they switch in to cripple them. Audino makes a great pivot and can be switched in to scout Choice-locked Pokemon or stack up chip damage on Life Orb or statused Pokemon before switching back out.

Team Options
========

Audino works especially well on stall and bulkier teams, being able to serve as a Wish passer, a special wall, and a few other things such as a cleric or Toxic inducer, depending on what the team needs. That being said, it does not do very well on more offensively oriented teams, as it can be a large momentum drain due to its lack of offensive pressure, which isn't an issue on stall teams. Weezing and Qwilfish make great partners for Audino due to their ability to check many physical attackers and Fighting-types and set Toxic Spikes; in return, Audino can Wish pass to them and take incoming special attacks for them while racking up the residual damage caused by Toxic Spikes with Protect. Other good defensive partners include Sableye, Gourgeist, and Granbull, which can also deal with Fighting-types, along with Bronzor and Carracosta, which help deal with certain physical Pokemon such as Kangaskhan and Archeops. Defensive Pokemon lacking reliable recovery such as Regirock and Mesprit appreciate Wish as a nice alternative way to restore health outside of Leftovers, and they also appreciate Heal Bell. Secondary special walls such as Clefairy and Altaria can help against special attackers that Audino has a harder time with, such as Fightinium Z + Focus Blast Magmortar, along with supplying Heal Bell if Audino doesn't run it. Due to its constant switching, Audino likes having hazards removed, so it works well with Pokemon such as Togetic and Skuntank. Grounded Poison-types, including Qwilfish and Skuntank, also come in handy to remove Toxic Spikes upon switching in so that Audino can come in without being poisoned. Since Audino lacking Encore struggles against setup sweepers, Pyukumuku, Haze users such as Weezing, and priority users such as Skuntank make good teammates.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Other Options
=============

Thunder Wave can be used to cripple faster foes, such as Oricorio-G and Pyroar, and setup Pokemon, such as Lilligant. Double-Edge can supply Audino with a somewhat strong STAB attack to deal decent damage and place offensive pressure despite Audino's low Attack. However, this allows Ghost-types such as Oricorio-G to easily deal with Audino while making it much easier for Choice item and Eviolite users to switch in without the fear of losing their item. Audino can also serve as a Trick Room setter on Trick Room teams with a combination of Trick Room and Healing Wish.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Physical Attackers**: Strong physical attackers such as Archeops, Absol, and Aggron can easily break through Audino. However, certain physical attackers such as Stoutland and Primeape that can break through it have to watch out for Knock Off or Thunder Wave, respectively.

**Fighting-types**: Fighting-types such as Primeape and Hitmonchan and even Fighting-type coverage such as Focus Blast on Jynx and Dynamic Punch on Golurk can 2HKO or OHKO Audino. Furthermore, Gurdurr can use Audino as fodder to set up with Bulk Up if Audino lacks Encore.

**Taunt**: Taunt users such as Skuntank and Qwilfish leave Audino helpless, and Qwilfish in particular can take advantage of Audino to get off an attack or set up hazards.

**Status**: If Audino lacks Heal Bell, it can be easily crippled by Toxic users such as Alolan Persian and Gastrodon and by Toxic Spikes from Weezing and Qwilfish. In addition, even if it carries Heal Bell, Audino can be stalled out of Heal Bell with Toxic due to its low PP without being able to do much in return.

**Trick / Switcheroo**: While Audino can check most special Pokemon, some such as Floatzel and Manectric can greatly cripple Audino by Tricking their Choice items to it.

*Setup Sweepers**: Without Encore, Audino can struggle against setup sweepers such as Lilligant, Carracosta, and Roost Oricorio-G, and it can even be used as setup fodder. Certain Pokemon such as Alolan Raichu and Jynx can set up on Audino but lose a good chunk from Knock Off.

am check (just a few things)
  • um maybe it's just me but i personally don't see a need to mention komala, as not only is it way worse at wish passing due to its much lower hp and lack of regenerator, but pretty much any competent audino team will carry hazard control anyway. defensive komala is an inferior wish passer that just so happens to have rapid spin and comatose, so if you really feel komala should be mentioned, that distinction needs to be clarified
  • i'd go with careful nature, as optimizing damage output allows you to have a good chance to ohko jynx after rocks with double edge (or always koing scarf jynx with knock off after rocks). foul play's damage output is extremely negligible anyway, and its common users would rather deal with you through other means (taunt from sab/a-persian, leech seed from gourgeist)
  • regarding team options, talk about defensive and offensive pokemon alike that appreciate audino wish support, as it helps them stay healthy and more aggressively pivot into things they check. maybe some mention of status absorbers like gurdurr if you're not running heal bell could be brought up too. finally, i'd make mentions of more blanket checks to physical attacks as good partners, like regirock, gourgeist, palossand, etc.
other than that nice write up so far

Moves
========
  • Knock Off allows Audino to cripple potential threats that depend on their items, such as Eviolite users like Ferroseed or Clefairy, or Choice Band or Specs users, such as Pyroar or Aggron.
  • Double Edge supplies Audino with a somewhat strong STAB attack, despite its low Attack, to deal decent damage and give it some offensive pressure. i'd remove DE, it's just weak as shit and we have more good ghosts now, like this set could feasibly be bodied by sensu and that sucks
  • Wish is ran to allow Audino to heal both its teammates and itself.
  • Protect is ran to guarantee Audino gets the Wish recovery, along with potential scouting for your opponent’s next move.
  • Similar to Wish, Heal Bell can provide support for both Audino’s teammates and itself, except for status conditions.
  • Encore can lock Pokemon into moves, stopping potential setup sweepers and giving teammates easier switch-ins.

  • Weezing falls as a great partner for Audino due to its ability to check many physical attackers, Fighting-Types, and set Toxic Spikes, while Audino can Wish pass to Weezing and take incoming special attacks. Other good Defensive partners include Sableye and Gourgeist. u could talk about how audino benefits from tspikes quite a bit
  • Offensive Pokemon, especially Life Orb holders and Defoggers such as Skuntank and Shiftry, appreciate not having to fear being worn down through constant chip damage thanks to Audino's Wish. this is basically the same as the below point except specifically saying offensive mons that don't benefit from wish pass a ton, id remove
  • Similarly, defensive Pokemon lacking reliable recovery such as Regirock and Mesprit, who lack reliable recovery of their own, appreciate a nice alternative way to restore health outside of Leftovers.
  • Due to its constant switching, Audino likes hazards removed, so it works well with with Pokemon such as Swanna and Skuntank.
  • Set-up Pokemon such as Carracosta and Jynx can take advantage of Audino’s Encore and come in to start setting up.
really id specify that audino only goes on very bulky teams, it's just a basic bullet that gets across how this is normally played. also id like to see grounded poisons mentioned

  • Thunder Wave can be used to cripple faster opponents, such as Oricorio-Sensu or Pyroar, along with set-up Pokemon, such as Lilligant.
  • Toxic can be used to deal with bulkier opponents, such as Lanturn or Musharna.
  • Audino can run Physically Defensive with 252 Def and an Impish nature, rather than Special Defense, to better check certain physical attackers. id remove this, it seems horridly outclassed by miltank
  • Audino can be a late game Trick Room setter, with a combination of Trick Room and Healing Wish.

Checks and Counters

  • **Taunt**: Taunt users such as Skuntank and Qwilfish leave Audino and can easily can just use it to get off an attack or set up hazards, in Qwilfish’s perspective.
  • **Status**: If Audino lacks Heal Bell, things like Persian-Alola or Gastrodon can easily use Toxic, or through Toxic Spikes from Weezing or Qwilfish.
  • **Trick or Switcheroo**: While Audino can check very many special users, some such as Floatzel or Manectric can potentially greatly cripple Audino through switching over their Choice Scarf or Choice Specs items.
  • **Set-Up Pokemon sweepers is a better term imo**: Without Encore, Audino can struggle against set-up Pokemon such as Gurdurr or Carracosta, or can even simply be used as set-up fodder. i don't like gurdurr as an example cuz u already have fighting types as a category. p much anything works tho, like sensu or w/e

However, Audino can be very passive, and a large momentum drain at times. Hmmm... I wouldn't really say it's too much of a momentum drain, since it can just grab a Wish and switch to another mon to regain momentum, but it is passive. (you can mention low offenses). It can also be worn down with Taunt or Status conditions, crippled by Trick and Switcheroo, and can be used as set-up fodder, depending on the set. Finally, it gets competition from things like Miltank or Clefairy as a special wall, on top Miltank being able to serve as a Cleric, too, although it is unable to Wish pass.
I'd spend a bit more time emphasizing how great Regenerator is, because it lets it easily Wish Pass without worrying about keeping itself healthy, as well as pivot/scout. Also mention how it doesn't really fit on offensive teams.

Toxic can be used to deal with bulkier opponents, such as Lanturn or Musharna, along with helping with Audino's passiveness.

248 EVs in HP and 252 EVs in Special Defense along with a Careful nature allows Audino to take as little as possible from special attackers such as Manectric and Floatzel. what's the 8 defense do? Also mention Careful nature is chosen b/c it doesn't lower the power from knock off. The constant recovery from Leftovers makes Audino all the harder to break down. Regenerator makes it easier for Audino to switch in and out, allowing it to more easily check things, along with helping with its Wish passing due to restoring its own health on top of the incoming Pokemon's.
Usage Tips
========

Audino prevails especially well on stall and bulkier teams, being able to serve as a Wish passer, a special wall, and a few other things, depending on what the team needs. That being said, it does not do very well on more offensive oriented teams, as it can be a large momentum drain due to its lack of offensive pressure, which isn't an issue on stall teams. This is kind of team options stuff rather than Usage Tips. Usage Tips implies you are already using Audino on a team, and what you are going to do in the battle itself. If you predict a Pokemon to try to set up on you and they outspeed, try to Encore them the first turn they will supposedly try to set up. When checking a choiced Pokemon such as Floatzel and Manectric be wary of Trick and Switcheroo.

lots of stuff missing here:
- audino's main usage tip should be to switch into special attackers and click Wish
- knock off being used on the switch when you want to cripple a physical attacker like gurdurr
- also a strong focus on pivoting. Mention you can switch into choice-locked pokemon to scout, or Life Orb attackers to build recoil damage

Team Options
========

Weezing and Qwilfish fall as great partners for Audino due to their ability to check many physical attackers, Fighting-Types, and set Toxic Spikes, while Audino can Wish pass to them and take incoming special attacks, while taking advantage of the Toxic Spikes with its Protect. Other good Defensive partners include Sableye and Gourgeist these mons are all good for audino cause they take on fighting-types. you kind of say that but make it the main point of these sentences. Mention other physical walls to take stuff like Kanga/Archeops/Absol Defensive Pokemon lacking reliable recovery such as Regirock and Mesprit appreciate Wish as a nice alternative way to restore health outside of Leftovers. they also appreciate heal bell Due to its constant switching, Audino likes hazards removed, so it works well with with Pokemon such as Togetic and Vibrava both these mons are mediocre, replace with Skuntank and hitmonchan (maybe). Grounded Poison types, including both Qwilfish and Skuntank, also come in handy to remove Toxic Spikes on switch-in, so that Audino can come in without fearing immediate status. Set-up Pokemon such as Carracosta and Jynx can take advantage of Audino’s Encore and come in to start setting up. Meh.... this wouldn't really come into play all that much, i'd remove it. However do mention some pokemon that can deal with setup sweepers like A-Raichu and Costa cause Audino really struggles vs them (priority, pyuku). Mention some other pokemon that are commonly found with Audino on defensive teams, such as secondary special walls (Clefairy, Altaria) who can also use heal bell if Audino isn't running that

**Sweepers** <-- change this to setup sweepers: Without Encore, Audino can struggle against set-up Pokemon such as Lilligant or Carracosta, or can even simply be used as set-up fodder. I would expand a little bit and include more mons, such as A-Raichu or Jynx

YouAudino can use Knock Off on potential incoming physical attackers such as Gurdurr and Stoutland as they switch in to cripple them. Audino makes a great pivot, as it can easily switch into special attackers in order to scout choiced PokemonChoice item users, build chip damage for Life Orb or statused Pokemon, or to simply get some Regenerator recovery (this sentence is rather incoherent. please try to make its meaning clearer so that the reader understands what you are trying to say).

Other good Ddefensive partners include Sableye, Gourgeist, and Granbull, who can bothich can also deal with Fighting-types, along with Bronzor and Carracosta, who help with other certain Pich help deal with certain physical Pokemon such as Kangaskhan and Archeops. Defensive Pokemon lacking reliable recovery such as Regirock and Mesprit appreciate Wish as a nice alternative way to restore health, outside of Leftovers, along with the potentialwhile they also appreciate Heal Bell. Due to its constant switching, Audino likes having hazards removed, so it works well with with Pokemon such as Togetic and Skuntank. Grounded Poison-types, including both Qwilfish and Skuntank, also come in handy to remove Toxic Spikes on switch-in,ing in so that Audino can come in without fearing immediate status. Set-being poisoned. Setup Pokemon such as Carracosta and Jynx can take advantage of Audino’s Encore and come in to's Encore to come in and start setting up.

Other Options
=============

Thunder Wave can be used to cripple faster opponentfoes, such as Oricorio-Sensu or Pyroar, along with set-G and Pyroar, and setup Pokemon, such as Lilligant. Double-Edge can supply Audino with a somewhat strong STAB attack, despite its low Attack, to deal decent damage and give it somplace offensive pressure despite Audino's low Attack. However, ithis allows Ghost-types such as Oricorio-SensuG to easily deal with Audino, on top of while making it much easier for choicedChoice item and Eviolite users to switch in (why does it make it easier for these pokemon to switch in? please clarify.). Audino can also serve as a Trick Room setter on Trick Room teams, with a combination of Trick Room and Healing Wish.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Physical Attackers**: Strong physical attackers such as Archeops, Absol, orand Aggron can easily break through Audino. There are certain PokemonHowever, certain physical attackers such as Stoutland and Primeape whothat can break through Audino, but have to watch out for Audino’s Knock Off or Thunder Wave, respectively.

**Fighting-Ttypes**: Fighting-Type Pokemontypes such as Primeape or Hitmonchan, or even simplyand Hitmonchan and even Fighting-type coverage such as Focus Blast on Jynx or Dynamic Punch on Golurk, can manage to 2HKO or even OHKO Audino. Furthermore, Gurdurr can furthermore use Audino as set-up fodder to set up with Bulk Up if Audino lacks Encore.

**Taunt**: Taunt users such as Skuntank and Qwilfish leave Audino and can easily can just use ithelpless, while Qwilfish in particular can take advantage of Audino to get off an attack or set up hazards, in Qwilfish’s perspective.

**Status**: If Audino lacks Heal Bell, things like Alolan Persian or Gastrodon can easily use Toxic, or throughit can be easily crippled by Toxic users such as Alolan Persian and Gastrodon and by Toxic Spikes from Weezing or Qwilfish, and can eveand Qwilfish. In addition, even if it carries Heal Bell, Audino can be stalled out of Heal Bells with its low PP without being able to do much in return (stalled out by what? please specify).

**Trick or Switcheroo**: While Audino can check very many special usersmost special Pokemon, some such as Floatzel orand Manectric can potentially greatly cripple Audino through switching over their Choice Scarf or Choice Specs itemsby Tricking their Choice items to it.

*Setup Sweepers**: Without Encore, Audino can struggle against set-up Pokemonup sweepers such as Lilligant, Carracosta, and Roost Oricorio-Sensu, orG, and can even simply be used as set-up fodder. Certain Pokemon such as Alolan Raichu and Jynx can set up on Audino, but actually take a good chunk from Knock Off.

GP 2/2

It is also easily worn down once afflicted with status conditions or Taunt, crippled by Trick and Switcheroo, and easily used as set-up setup fodder, depending on the set. Finally, it faces competition from Pokemon like Miltank, which serves as a cleric as well, even if it cannot Wish pass, and Clefairy as a special wall.

[SET]
name: Wish Passer
move 1: Wish
move 2: Protect
move 3: Knock Off
move 4: Heal Bell / Encore
item: Leftovers
ability: Regenerator
nature: Careful
evs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]

Moves
========

Set Details
========

Usage Tips
========

Audino is best used against special attackers, which it can also set up Wish against. If you predict that a faster Pokemon will set up on Audino, try to use Encore on them the first turn they try to set up. When facing a Choice item user such as Floatzel or and Manectric, be wary of Trick and Switcheroo. Audino can use Knock Off on incoming physical attackers such as Gurdurr and Stoutland as they switch in to cripple them. Audino makes a great pivot, (RC) and can be switched in to scout Choiced item-locked Pokemon or stack up chip damage on Life Orb or statused Pokemon before switching back out.

Team Options
========

Defensive Pokemon lacking reliable recovery such as Regirock and Mesprit appreciate Wish as a nice alternative way to restore health outside of Leftovers, and while they also appreciate Heal Bell. Secondary special walls such as Clefairy and Altaria can help against special (?) special attackers that Audino has a harder time with, such as Fightinium Z + Focus Blast Magmortar, along with supplying Heal Bell if Audino doesn't run it.

However, this allows Ghost-types such as Oricorio-G to easily deal with Audino while making it much easier for Choice item and Eviolite users to switch in without the fear of loosing losing their item. Audino can also serve as a Trick Room setter on Trick Room teams with a combination of Trick Room and Healing Wish.
