Moves
========

Nasty Plot is Spritzee's method of boosting, quickly allowing its attacks to do more damage. Moonblast is Spritzee's most powerful STAB move, OHKOing even defensive Vullaby sets after a Nasty Plot boost. Psychic hits Poison-types like Croagunk, Mareanie, and Foongus. Trick Room makes Spritzee even harder to stop, allowing it to outspeed most viable Pokemon, but it requires Spritzee to have two free turns of setup, which are often hard to find. Hidden Power Fire hits Steel-types like Magnemite and Ferroseed, which otherwise wall this set; however, the required IVs force a Special Attack drop, and the speed control from Trick Room is near required, especially on the Eviolite set. Draining Kiss is an option over Moonblast if you want Spritzee to have some more longevity, but the lack of power is very noticeable when compared to Moonblast.

Set Details
========

The EVs aim to invest as much into Special Attack as can be afforded. Spritzee's Special Attack is maximized, but enough defensive investment is given to hit Eviolite numbers and optimize bulk. 16 Speed EVs let Spritzee outspeed Foongus, allowing it to use Psychic before getting hit by Spore or Sludge Bomb. If running Hidden Power Fire, use an EV spread of 52 HP / 116 Def / 176 SpA / 76 SpD / 16 Spe to fill the requirements of running the move. This will cost an extra Special Attack point, however. Aroma Veil is Spritzee's most useful ability, making Taunt and Encore non-issues. Eviolite increases Spritzee's already impressive natural bulk, allowing it to tank a hit before setting up or attacking or bluff the normal set and set up on a U-turn. Berry Juice lets Spritzee avoid a 2HKO from Pokemon like Life Orb Staryu, Life Orb Diglett, and Mareanie. However, Eviolite is preferred, as Spritzee often sets up on Knock Off users.

Usage Tips
========

This set is a bit less bulky than others and lacks Wish recovery, so it functions less as an emergency blanket check to Fighting- and Dark-types and more like a regular setup sweeper. Thus, try not to switch it into attacks as often, as it will need to take a couple just to set up and attack. Try to keep entry hazards up, as Spritzee can't secure KOs on Pokemon like Foongus and Mareanie without them, even at +2 Special Attack. If using Trick Room, don't use it if Pokemon like Foongus are still healthy, as they will go before Spritzee under Trick Room and KO it. Spritzee doesn't need to sweep to be successful. Don't be afraid to use it to simply break a core or clean up late-game.

Team Options
========

Entry hazard setters like Mudbray and Onix allow Spritzee to secure KOs more easily; they are also good at checking Fire- and Poison-types. Knock Off users like Mienfoo, Timburr, and Pawniard can soften up the opposing team further, especially Poison-types, allowing Spritzee to sweep. Slow Mienfoo sets can benefit from Trick Room and provide a slow U-turn to Spritzee. Diglett is very helpful for trapping all sorts of Poison-, Fire-, and Steel-types and dispatching them with Earthquake. It can also provide Memento support to aid a sweep. Magnet Pull Magnemite can trap Ferroseed, and Spritzee can get rid of Fighting-types for it in return. A secondary Fighting-type check, like Mareanie or Foongus, may be helpful, as this Spritzee lacks the longevity to consistently check them. Pokemon like Snivy and Corphish appreciate Spritzee's ability to break through Pokemon that normally check them, like Croagunk.

I don't post here much anymore, but I'm not sure what this set actually does. It basically takes a hit and sets up then dies. I would barely ever see a point in using Nasty Plot unless it's literally that last 2 turns and all your opponent has is a foo/timb and a foongus. In my opinion NP Spritzee is kind of pointless without Trick Room or some Speed w/ Sticky Web / Para support. The former loses a move, obviously, Moonblast + HP Fire or Psychic do a lot to most things that wall them and it's pretty easy to trap steels anyway so HP Fire is less than required. I've also been using Draining Kiss a lot on NP Spritzee because that makes it really tough to actually kill since you drop a lot of things and not many Pokemon can OHKO Spritzee.

I originally had Draining Kiss as the first slash but I was told to remove it. For now I'll put a mention in Moves but not the set itself. I agree that the set is less optimal than the standard one, but I'll add some stuff about speed control in team options. ty for the suggestions!

I think Psychic should be move 3 as it's a bigger part of NP Spritzee's kit than HP Fire.
I'd slash Berry Juice after Eviolite, as it lets Spritzee avoid the 2HKO on a decent number of things that just barely 2HKO Eviolite, eg LO Staryu from full, Mareanie and LO Diglett after rocks.

Moves:
Mention Foongus as a target for Psychic, as it's arguably the most important one.
Don't mention Pawniard as a target for HP Fire, Moonblast hits it harder at +2. Mention Magnemite instead.

Set Details:
Mention an EV spread of 52 HP / 116 Def / 252 SpA / 76 SpD / 12 Spe if HP Fire is not run, allowing Spritzee an extra point in SpA to usually OHKO Eviolite Pawniard after spikes at +2.
Don't forget to describe Berry Juice here. Mention that Eviolite is usually preferred as a large portion of the things Spritzee sets up on carry Knock Off.

Team Options:
I feel like a large portion of NP Spritzee's usefulness comes from its ease of setting up, so dedicated Memento support seems unnecessary. You can mention it as part of the Diglett point, though.
I don't know if Sticky Web is worth mentioning, as Spritzee is still outsped by most offensive Pokemon.

Nice work, 1/3

i'm a pretty big fan of np spritz. i think tr > hp fire, but if others disagree then it's ok. it's really just ok either way honest

everything before this is fine

- The EVs aim to invest as much into SpA as Spritzee can afford. Its SpA is maxed out, but enough defensive investment is given to hit Eviolite numbers
- 16 Spe EVs let Spritzee outspeed Foongus, allowing it to use Psychic before getting hit by Spore or Sludge Bomb
- If not running Hidden Power Fire, run an EV spread of 52 HP / 116 Def / 252 SpA / 76 SpD / 12 Spe to get an extra Special Attack point, increasing the chance for a Moonblast OHKO on Pawniard at +2
- Aroma Veil is Spritzee's most useful ability, making it so Taunt and Encore are non-issues
- An Eviolite increases Spritzee's already impressive natural bulk, allowing it to tank a hit before setting up or attacking
- Berry Juice lets Spritzee avoid the 2HKO from Pokemon like Life Orb Staryu, Life Orb Diglett, and Mareanie. However, Eviolite is preferred as Spritzee often sets up on Knock Off users
i don't know the numbers well enough to dispute but these look fine. eviolite also bluffs the standard set better, which matters when spritz has to eat a uturn or something.

- This set is a bit less bulky than others and lacks Wish recovery, so it functions less as an emergency blanket check to Fighting- and Dark-types, and more like a regular set up sweeper
- As such, try not to switch it into attacks as often, as it will need to take a couple just to set up and attack
- Try to keep hazards up as Spritzee can't secure KOes on Pokemon like Foongus and Mareanie without them, even at +2 Special Attack
if it's trick room, do not TR while pokemon like foongus are still around because they will outslow and sleep or kill it. it does not have to sweep to be successful -- it can just np and ko a pokemon or two to break a core up. if tr, it can also clean lategame.

- Hazard setters like Mudbray and Onix allow Spritzee to secure KOes easier. They are also good at checking Fire- and Poison-types
- Knock Off users like Mienfoo and Pawniard can soften up the opposing team further, allowing Spritzee to sweep
- Diglett is very helpful for trapping all sorts of Poison-, Fire-, and Steel-types and dispatching them with Earthquake. It can also provide Memento support to aid a sweep
trap mag is good for netting ferroseed and appreciates spritzee's ability to check fights. i'd also consider specifically mentioning that mienfoo/timburr can knock the poisons consistently, opening up an avenue for spritz to sweep. probably mention having a secondary fight resist because np spritz wont hold up as your only one throughout a game. i also really loved using slowfoo (11 spe) with it because it'll tank everything, can uturn out of other fights, and works well under TR too. generally appreciates other slow teammates with TR. also mention teammates that appreciate what it breaks (consider: snivy, foo, corphish, anything that has a counter that can typically handle spritz fine).

if chic lives through the suspect mention it as a partner. should also have some chic speed numbers if that's the case. outrunning gas at +1 is mega important

oh web support is probably a decent idea too, maybe include that. still would probably want to include speed numbers to outrun faster pokemon in webs if that's the case though you don't get gas either way

2/3 :)

ok this looks pretty good overall, i have a couple things to pick at though. now that torchic is gone, TR is 100% imperative for this set. the hp fire spa drop also hurts a lot of dmg rolls. as a result, i would like hp fire to be unslashed and mentioned only in set details as a pairing with berry juice. evio spritz needs the speed control in order to its work. make it clear that hp fire is a significantly inferior choice on the evio set.

all torchic mentions should also be wiped from the analysis bc its banned ofc.

once these 2 things are fulfilled, this is qc 3/3
