Decided to a very odd teambat in the hidden type meta (http://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/hidden-type.3516349/). I started by giving the teams a random OU pokemon each, and instructing them that they had to match (partially) the typing of their OU poke with at least one mon on their team (ex. if they were given starmie, they could give lanturn hp psychic to have water/psychic/electric lanturn).

Team Sun:

Pokemon: Garchomp (ground/dragon), matched with rhydon (rock/ground/dragon)
Team: http://pastebin.com/xfWDW28U
Team Members: erisia , cyanize , Cythulu

Team Moon:

Pokemon: Latios (dragon/psychic), matched with solrock (rock/psychic/dragon)
Team: http://pastebin.com/nfjr6YDg
Team Members: Shaneghoul , Killintime , @fryman33

Theme: NU Monotype! Halfway through, I revealed the other team's type. Unfortunately for the mono-Dragon team, their rivals were mono-Ice! However, they each had to swap three mons before the battle started, so it was mostly okay in the end.

Team A: Advantage, Watchog, Serving Suggestion, KipUp, HealthyBodyandMind

Team B: cyanize, Ligament, mambotnd, thefugginkid, Ullinn
Pastebin: http://hastebin.com/rezukanuqu.md

Replay of great justice! http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/nu-427791009

Congrats to Team A! In the end, Articuno and Avalugg were just too good to not steal.

Ok, so did an interesting one, based on NU triples (smeargle was banned for obvious reasons)

Team Triple
Members: Dentricos , Blast, Venomben, Adaire
Team: http://pastebin.com/0N4tVyWf
They based their strategy around spamming powerful spread moves empowered further with mega audino's helping hand, and general utility

Team Trinary (sorry, wanted somethign about triples)
Members: cryalot, Yogibears, xMikasa , Dibs The Dreamer
Team: http://hastebin.com/dawutecube.md
They rather based their strategy around trick room, with powerful screens support to allow them to abuse very powerful slow attackers.

Thanks for everyone who participated!

So, I based this teambat in the Pallete Pals metagame (all mons inherit stats from same color mons to the left of them in the team), and we had a fairly good game, with one team using the extreme bulk, and set-up ability of a dustox (meganium) to threaten a sweep, while the other team expertly used zangoose and Swellow passing stats to pressure the other team's normal resists.
