[OVERVIEW]
- impressive coverage and access to u-turn set it apart from other fightings
- very good uninvested bulk allows it to pivot into hits rather well for an offensive mon
- hits things decently hard, allows it to be a cleaner or a pivoting breaker
- slower than a lot of offensive mons, so it's vulnerable to faster pokemon like delphox, sigilyph, and whimsicott
- faces a lot of competition from other fightings—emboar has highly powerful secondary stab and more defensive value, hitmonlee can't pivot but has rapid spin, priority, and stronger fighting stab thanks to reckless, and medicham has devastating power, secondary psychic stab, and priority to deter faster threats

Moves
========
- close combat is passimian's best stab move.
- knock off is a great coverage move that hits ghost- and psychic-types for big damage and removes items from foes.
- u-turn is excellent due to the number of switches passimian forces with its powerful stab, and allows it to gain momentum well.
- earthquake smacks poison types like garbodor and toxicroak. it's especially useful vs garbodor as it avoids recoil from the rocky helmet garbodor often holds.
- rock slide can be used instead to hit golbat, altaria, vikavolt, and scyther for more damage than anything else passimian has to offer.
- gunk shot is an option in the last slot to hit fairy types like granbull and aromatisse. it is worth noting that the two most popular fairy-types, whimsicott and mega audino, are already heavily pressured by close combat, with mega audino being 2HKOed after stealth rock damage on any set and whimsicott being 2HKOed outright.

Set Details
========
- maximum attack and speed investment gives passimian the most offensive prowess.
- choice band gives passimian a large boost in power, making it quite difficult to switch in to.
- jolly nature is used to outspeed jolly samurott, timid vanilluxe, and jolly malamar, which is useful as passimian is able to ohko all three.
- an adamant nature is an option to give passimian even more power, but the power is not often necessary and causes passimian to lose an important speed tier.

Usage Tips
========
- close combat, knock off, and u-turn are worth using at almost any given time, as they all are quite impactful.
- it is worth noting that knock off should be used early on to remove rocky helmet from foes like garbodor and druddigon in order to give passimian more breathing room later on.
- some of passimian's best switchins, such as golbat and altaria, are often easy to take advantage of with teammates because of how passive they are.
- take advantage of passimian's solid uninvested bulk to pivot it into attacks from weaker pokemon such as type: null, cryogonal, and steelix to give it more opportunity to fire off attacks.

Team Options
========
- thanks to how easily passimian can gain momentum with u-turn, it lends itself well to volturn cores with partners such as rotom-c, whimsicott, and vikavolt.
- passimian's momentum-gaining prowess also allows it to support pokemon such as vanilluxe and emboar that have devastating breaking power once they get on the field safely using u-turn.
- switchins to faster offensive pokemon like delphox, sigilyph, and whimsicott that can pressure passimian easily is often recommended
- fast cleaners such as delphox, sneasel, and virizion can take advantage of the holes passimian can punch in the opposition.
- setup sweepers that threaten offensive teams, such as klinklang, mismagius, and zangoose appreciate passimian's ability to get them on the field safely to start a sweep. mismagius and klinklang work especially well, as they take advantage of the various poison-types that passimian lures in.

Moves
========
- close combat is best stab move
- knock is great coverage that hits ghost- and psychic-types and leaves foes vulnerable
- uturn is great for pivoting and maintaining momentum using the switches passimian causes
- gunk shot smacks fairies such as mega audino and aromatisse and lets you revenge kill virizion and whimsicott
- earthquake can be used instead to reliably revenge delphox, as well as chip poison types like garbodor and toxicroak

Set Details
========
- max spe and atk optimize passimian's offense
- scarf gives passimian a nice speed tier, outpacing entire unboosted metagame bar accelgor
- adamant nature boosts pass's damage output, letting it serve as a strong rkiller and cleaner
- jolly nature can be used but only gets a jump on accelgor, which is not all too relevant, and allows passimian to tie with opposing base 80 speed scarfers such as medicham and braviary. however, this comes at the cost of valuable power, and passimian is unable to beat these pokemon one-on-one with the extra speed anyway.

Usage Tips
========

- close combat is quite threatening given passimian's combination of speed and power, and makes for a good tool to clean up teams
- u-turn is great for gaining momentum on foes threatened to switch out by passimian
- knock off is useful to nail frail ghost- and psychic-types that would stop passimian from cleaning a team, as well as removing important items from foes such as xatu, garbodor, and vileplume
- earthquake and gunk shot are primarily used for chipping fighting resistant pokemon that would stop passimian from cleaning, but also double as a way to reliably revenge delphox and whimsicott and virizion, respectively
- take advantage of passimian's solid uninvested bulk to pivot it into attacks from weaker pokemon such as type: null, cryogonal, and steelix to give it more opportunity to fire off attacks.

Team Options
========

- thanks to how easily passimian can gain momentum with u-turn, it lends itself well to volturn cores with partners such as rotom-c, whimsicott, and vikavolt.
- passimian's momentum-gaining prowess also allows it to support pokemon such as vanilluxe and emboar that have devastating breaking power once they get on the field safely using u-turn. powerful breakers such as these support passimian in turn by weakening the opposing team so passimian can clean later.
- passimian enjoys teammates such as klinklang, mismagius, and haunter that can take advantage of the poison- and fairy- types that wall it.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Other Options
=============

- bulk up looks nice but isn't worth it, as passimian doesn’t have the defensive value to pull it off well and much prefers immediate power and the ability to pivot
- rock slide on the choice scarf set is an option to hit flying- and bug-types, but it only effectively damages scyther and vikavolt—the rest of the potential targets don't switch in to close combat well or aren't 2HKOed by rock slide anyways.
- iron head is a weaker option to hit fairies than gunk shot, with the upside of not missing—however, the drop in power leaves it unable to 2hko physically defensive mega audino even with a choice band, and choice scarf sets miss the ability to ohko virizion and whimsicott.

Checks and Counters
===================

**vileplume**: vileplume isn't 2HKOed by anything passimian has to offer bar adamant nature choice band gunk shot after stealth rock damage, and discourages the use of attacks against it due to the possibility of effect spore status.

**offensive pressure**: faster offensive pokemon such as whimsicott, (scarf) delphox, and sigilyph scare passimian away by threatening ohkos with their stab attacks.

**fighting resists**: pokemon such as xatu, garbodor, and rotom resist or are immune to passimian's stab, and despite it having coverage to hit them it can be risky to lock into a coverage move to do so.

You misspelled Receiver, btw.

- gunk shot nails fairy types like mega audino and aromatisse. it is worth noting that the two most popular fairy-types, whimsicott and mega audino, are already heavily pressured by close combat, with mega audino being 2HKOed after stealth rock damage on any set and whimsicott being 2HKOed outright.
- rock slide is an option in the last slot to hit golbat, altaria, vikavolt, and scyther for more damage than anything else passimian can use.
- Since you've mentioned how Close Combat pressures Mega Audino, replace it for Granbull as a Gunk Shot target.
- Considering Rock Slide's targets are more relevant/numerous/harder to break than Gunk Shot's targets, I'd rather see Rock Slide slashed on the set instead of Gunk Shot.

- take advantage of passimian's solid uninvested bulk to pivot it into attacks and give it more opportunity to fire off attacks.
- Should probably specify that Passimian takes advantage of its best switch-ins using U-turn.
- Specify the kind of attacks Passimian can pivot into, because I'm curious myself; I certainly don't want to switch into a Knock Off if I can help it, so what else is there?

Set Details

- jolly can be used but only gets a jump on accelgor, which is not all too relevant, at the cost of valuable power
You can note that Jolly can also at least Speed tie with other base 80 Speed Choice Scarf users, namely Medicham and Gallade, though it's still not particularly worth the cost in power, not to mention Passimian doesn't beat them 1v1.

Not QC but I think that u should mention Fist Plate + Taunt Passimian in Other Options, I've recently been playing around with it and it's pretty cool, though kind of matchup dependant and doesn't hit as hard as cb and isnt as fast as scarf.

  • other fightings
    Give some examples
  • emboar has highly powerful secondary stab and more defensive value
    Remove this and other mentions of mons that aren't NU anymore
  • I'd mention another negative point in the overview; can be easy to play around since it's gonna be choiced 99% of the time and the tier has a lot of good fighting checks.
  • knock off is a great coverage move that hits ghost- and psychic-types for big damage and removes items from foes.
    I'd mention removing key items like eviolite Golbat, rocky helmet drudd/garb, lefties
  • Usage Tips: very important about Passimian is uturn. If your opponent has a sturdy check in the back, try to keep momentum with uturn.
  • Team Options: definitely mention it gets in wallbreakers with uturn that deal with its checks
  • Checks & Counters: add separate sections for psychic (slowbro!!!) and poison types
  • Main nature for scarf should be jolly. Tieing with scarf/z-celebrate venu and scarf braviary is important and revenging +2 vika if at low hp. Mention adamant in set details tho.
  • Usage Tips Scarf: you're describing too much what the moves do. Try to explain when to click certain moves, when to bring it in etc
  • OO: Fightinium + Toxic bluff scarf and you can nail stuff like slowbro or scrafty thinking you're choicelocked. Bulk up can be an OO but mention that medi and gallade do the bulk up job better.
