Persian-Alola (QC 0/3)

[OVERVIEW]
Fur Coat gives Alolan Persian a a whole new perspective strategywise compared to regular Persian. Fur Coat improves Alolan Persians defense to a pretty decent level. Along with a pretty strong utility movepool, an insane speedstat and some HP-investments, Alolan Persian will be a pretty strong Lead- and Scoutpokemon. All base stats except its speed stat are fairly low though, so its options are limited; specially defensive and offensive builds will not be that great because of its stats, so Alolan Persian will be hugely outclassed by other Pokemon in those situations. But Alolan Persian makes up for a great Utilitypokemon.

Moves
========
Taunt is to counter most of the other Leadpokemon; it will prevent from others using Stealth Rocks, Spikes and Toxic Spikes. This works because Alolan Persians great speed stat allows you to usually go first. It helps to counter any kind of status move really; it's always useful. Foul Play and Swagger work very well together, because Foul Play uses the opponents attack stat rather than Alolan Persians own. Swagger will boost your opponents attack and so it will increase the damage outcome of Foul Play. Besides, Foul Play gets a STAB-bonus, which will provide even more damage. This combo is a great way to deal damage and to remove the opponents damage dealers. Parting Shot and U-Turn allow Alolan Persian to scout the opponents moves and strategies and basically to run away any time it's needed. Parting Shot gives great utility, but can't be used if Alolan Persian happens to get Taunted itself. U-Turn doesn't give much damage, it's pretty much used for escape only.

Set Details
========
Fur Coat doubles Alolans Persians defense, which will make it more than 300 already, so it's best to invest fully in HP, because Persians HP-stat is pretty poor. It's not worth investing in attack, since Persians own attack stat will not even be taken into count when using Foul Play. Besides, Tankiness is an important part of making this moveset work. Investing in speed is also needed to make sure Alolan Persian moves first, so it can pull its Taunt off on the opponents lead and to make it able to get away safely when scouting. Giving Alolan Persian 232 speed EVs is barely enough to outspeed a Jolly 252 speed EVs Purugly. Rocky Helmets damage and Leftovers sustain are both viable for this moveset. Rocky Helmet is a bit better though, because the sustain Leftovers provides doesn't benefit Alolan Persian as much as the damage Rocky Helmet offers.

Usage Tips
========
Alolan Persian is a great Leadpokemon. Start with Alolan Persian at the beginning of the match and use Taunt instantly, if you expect Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes or Spikes to be used. If Alolan Persian is in danger, just use U-Turn or Parting Shot to get it to safety and switch in a Pokemon that will be able to tank the hit. Alolan Persian is also great at removing the opponents damage dealers, especially the physical ones with low defense. Just use Swagger on the opponent and start using Foul Play afterwards; the confusion should keep Alolan Persian safe, while the opponents boosted attack increases Alolan Persians Foul Plays damage. For scouting just switch Alolan Persian in any time you want; its insane speed stat along with Parting Shot or U-Turn will allow it to get out anytime anyways. Pursuit is resisted as well, which is an extra bonus.

Team Options
========
To make the scouting even more successful it's always a good idea to have a tank or two where Alolan Persian can safely Parting Shot or U-Turn to. Claydol, Garbodor, Steelix and Bastiodon are some fine examples. A specially defensive defensive Bastiodon with Stealth Rock, Protect, Toxic and Roar work very well along Alolan Persian.

Other Options
=============
An adapted version of the specially offensive build regular Persian uses could also work; Technican with Choice Specs or Life Orb, along with Dark Pulse, Water Pulse, Nasty Plot and Hidden Power (Flying). Adding in Switcheroo along with Choice Specs would be a good option as well, since it will give the opponents Utilitypokemon a pretty hard time. Fake Out is a move that could possibly be used as well, but it's not that recommendable, since it doesn't get the STAB-bonus, so it doesn't deal much damage anyways; better use that moveslot for something more valuable.

Checks and Counters
===================
Choice Scarf sweepers are really dangerous for Alolan Persian as they are very likely to outspeed Alolan Persian and even though the defensive investments and Fur Coat, Alolan Persian still won't be able to survive strong attacks, special attacks being more dangerous than physical ones of course. Choice Scarf Hitmonlee is a real issue for Alolan Persian for example. Statuses like Paralysis and Toxic are very dangerous for Alolan Persian as well. Toxic will kill Alolan Persian over time as it has no recovering from it and Paralysis will make Alolan Persian slow, so it could be outsped by sweepers and dies or it could be Taunted, which will makes Alolan Persian useless. Whimsicott is also pretty scary since Prankster will allow it to use Taunt first and so it will be able to make Alolan Persian useless.

you fail to capture persian-alola's main role in the tier, which is being a pivot with parting shot, a move which you relegate to being slashed with u-turn (there is literally no reason to use u-turn on persian-alola), which can safely bring in wallbreakers early-game or sweepers late-game to more effectively setup. along with this, you make numerous mentions to unviable/outclassed pokemon like purugly, bastiodon, and claydol. also swagger is pretty unreliable and shouldn't be used on serious teams

This is being reassigned. The moveset given has many things wrong with it; Swagger is not a viable option and putting U-turn as a slash, let alone before Parting Shot is very concerning and shows me that you have little knowledge in Persian-A's niche in the metagame. No mention of Darkinium Z is an bothersome as well. There's issues all over the place here to the point where QC would have to write this for you.
