[OVERVIEW]

Pyukumuku carves out a niche for stall teams with its high defensive stats and amazing ability in Unaware. It is the only viable user of this ability, and on stall-oriented teams, it plays an invaluable role in stopping setup sweepers. However, Pyukumuku is a prime target for Substitute and Taunt from the likes of Jynx and Weezing, which can shut it down. Furthermore, Pyukumuku has a difficult time taking strong neutral attacks, especially special ones. Pyukumuku's weaknesses also hinder it from fitting on most playstyles outside of stall due to how passive it is, only being able to inflict damage via Toxic and Counter.

Moves
========

Toxic gradually whittles away at the opponent's health more and more, which is also useful for putting setup sweepers on a timer for Pyukumuku's teammates. Soak prevents Pyukumuku from being completely walled by Steel- and Poison-types like Ferroseed and Skuntank by removing their immunity to Toxic. Soak also removes the STAB bonus from heavy hitters such as Gurdurr and Golurk, which reduces their damage output significantly. Recover replenishes 50% of Pyukumuku's health, allowing it to take hits throughout the entire match. Block prevents a foe from escaping, letting Pyukumuku Toxic stall it to death and eliminate key threats to its team. Counter lets Pyukumuku retaliate against physical attacks from the likes of Primeape and Aggron without needing to use Soak to badly poison it.

Set Details
========

A Bold nature alongside maximum HP and Defense investment allows Pyukumuku to take on as many physical attackers as possible. Leftovers provides Pyukumuku with a form of gradual recovery. Unaware ignores stat changes, which allows Pyukumuku to play a crucial role in checking setup sweepers for stall teams.

Usage Tips
========

Pyukumuku should almost always be used on stall teams and should be brought in when the opponent is setting up with their physical setup sweeper such as Absol or has a physical wallbreaker such as Kangaskhan. When the opponent has a Poison- or Steel-type left, it's advised to use Soak on the switch so that it can follow up with a Toxic the next turn, although this tactic is prediction reliant. Pyukumuku appreciates having entry hazards removed so that it doesn't have to constantly rely on Wish and Heal Bell support. Be cautious about letting Pyukumuku take too much damage while retaliating back with Counter, because it may not be able to immediately Recover afterwards. Pyukumuku must also be extremely careful against Pokemon with Substitute and Taunt such as Alolan Dugtrio and Weezing, as those two moves prevent Pyukumuku from accomplishing its goals.

Team Options
========

Stall teams like utilizing Pyukumuku for its ability Unaware to stop them from being mowed down by offensive setup sweepers like Absol. Pyukumuku appreciates being paired with clerics like Audino that can remove Pyukumuku's status condition with Heal Bell and can pass large Wishes for recovery support. In return, Pykukumuku can take on most Fighting-types for Audino. Entry hazard control, especially against Spikes and Toxic Spikes, from Defog users like Altaria and Skuntank can prove useful for Pyukumuku's longevity. Altaria also can check Pokemon such as Magmortar and Lilligant for Pyukumuku, while Skuntank can automatically absorb Toxic Spikes. Pyukumuku's Toxic causes Pokemon with access to Facade like Stoutland to become more threatening, so Normal-resistant Pokemon like Ferroseed and Regirock are useful partners. Additionally, their entry hazards are useful for wearing down foes in combination with Pyukumuku's Toxic. Specially defensive Pokemon, such as Clefairy, pair nicely with Pyukumuku, as they can absorb hits from strong special attackers such as Lilligant and Pyroar, and Pyukumuku can take on and potentially remove physical attackers with Counter.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Memento can support hyper offensive teammates like Belly Drum Zangoose, but Pyukumuku is strapped for moveslots, and Pokemon like Jumpluff and Alolan Dugtrio are better users of the move. Pyukumuku doesn't really fit on hyper offensive teams anyways. Dual screens do nearly the same thing and cannot be shrugged off by switching out, but they can still be removed by using Defog, take up two moveslots instead of just one, and require Pyukumuku to run Light Clay over Leftovers which would prevent access to passive recovery. Dual screens and Memento can also be ran on the same set, but this takes three moveslots. A specially defensive spread can be used with 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD and takes advantage of Pyukumuku's key resistances to Ice, Fire, and Steel, but Pyukumuku wants a high defense stat to use Counter with, Electric- and Grass-type attacks are dominantly special, and Pyukumuku will most likely lose the matchup one-on-one anyway. Rocky Helmet can be used to chip away at physical attackers, but like Light Clay, it leaves Pyukumuku with no passive recovery. Z-Toxic allows Pyukumuku to use Toxic while it is affected by Taunt or Encore, prevents Pyukumuku from being crippled by Switcheroo or Trick, and grants Pyukumuku a Defense boost in the face of scary physical attackers like Crabominable.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Substitute users**: Pokemon that run Substitute like Oricorio-G, Mesprit, Jynx, Haunter, and Alolan Dugtrio can take the opportunity to stop Pyukumuku

**Taunt users**: Pokemon such as Pyroar, Skuntank, and Weezing can all utilize Taunt and can shut down Pyukumuku from spreading status and recovering health, leaving it only able to use Counter. Skuntank and Weezing can also come in even on a Soak and force Pyukumuku out, although Black Sludge damages them instead of replenishing when they are affected by Soak.

**Toxic**: With no way to alleviate its own status condition, Pyukumuku can be eventually worn down due Toxic from the likes of Altaria, Silvally-Fairy, and Oricorio-E.

**Electric- and Grass-type Attacks**: Super effective attacks from the likes of Lilligant, Lanturn, Abomasnow, and Magmortar can severely dent or outright KO Pyukumuku.

**Poison- and Steel-types**: Poison- and Steel-type Pokemon such as Muk, Aggron, and Ferroseed are immune to Toxic and can easily play around Counter. However, they must be careful about taking Soak, as then they can become badly poisoned by Toxic.

PU Leader
[OVERVIEW]

  • Pyukumuku carves out its own niche for stall-oriented teams with its high defensive stats, workable movepool, and amazing ability in Unaware (what makes unaware an amazing ability?) (also mention that it's the only viable unaware user and how important it is to stall because of this bc rip quagsire.)
  • However, Pyukumuku is a prime target for the opponent to use Substitute, Toxic, and Taunt, which can block, cripple, and incapacitate it respectively. (just say that substitute and taunt completely shut it down, the point is kinda dragged out.)
  • Furthermore, Pyukumuku has a difficult time taking super effective attacks, especially on the special side.
  • Pyukumuku's shortcomings hinder it from fitting on most playstyles outside of Stall, requiring an overwhelming amount of support from teammates in order to function properly. (mention how passive it is, as well.)
  • Nonetheless, Pyukumuku is PU's premier Unaware wall. (remove this part, it semi-restates what has been mentioned in the first bullet.)

Moves
========
  • Toxic allows Pyukumuku to whittle away at the opponent's health gradually more and more
  • Soak prevents Pyukumuku from being completely walled against Steel- and Poison-types and, in certain situations, removes the STAB bonus from heavy hitters such as Passimian and Golurk. (mention how important soak is, as without, you can't do anything to pokemon like ferroseed and skuntank.)
  • Recover replenishes up to 50% of Pyukumuku's health, allowing it to take hits throughout the entire match.
  • Counter lets Pyukumuku make use of its invested physical defense to retaliate against physical attacks from the likes of Primeape and Kangaskhan.
  • Block prevents a foe from escaping, allowing Pyukumuku to Toxic stall an opponent to death. (c/p'd from oo, delete that bullet)

Set Details
========

  • Leftovers restores 6% of Pyukumuku's HP per turn, letting it gradually regain health over time. (just note it as gradual recovery, and mention how it lessens the need to use recover.)
  • Pyukumuku's unique ability Unaware allows it to play a crucial role in checking set-up sweepers for stall-oriented teams (not unique, but it is the only viable user of this ability.)
  • A Bold nature alongside maximum HP and Defense investment allows Pyukumuku to take on as many physical attackers as possible (make this part the first bullet.)

Usage Tips
========

  • Pyukumuku should almost always be used on stall-oriented teams and should be brought in when the opponent has and is setting up with their physical set-up sweeper or has a physical wallbreaker such as Gurdurr (mention something else instead of gurdurr, it is a setup sweeper, not a wallbreaker.) and Passimian respectively
  • When the opponent has a Poison- or Steel-type left, it's advised to Soak on the switch so that you can follow up with a Toxic the next turn and not lose momentum (mention how this is prediction-reliant and as a result, can cause mindgames.)
  • It's important to keep Pyukumuku alive and healthy so Wish and Heal Bell support is near mandatory (maybe reword so that it mentions how important pyukumuku's HP is and how it should avoid switching in on toxic or if hazards are up.)
  • Something about when to use both Counter and Recover should go here.
  • Mention how Pyukumuku has to be extremely careful against Substitute and Taunt users.

Team Options
========

  • Pyukumuku appreciates being paired with clerics like Altaria and Audino, who can remove Pyukumuku's status condition with Heal Bell and, in the case of Audino, can pass large wishes for recovery support. (remove altaria, it doesn't run heal bell.)
  • Hazard control, especially of Spikes and Toxic Spikes, can prove useful for Pykukumuku's longetivity. Altaria and Hitmonchan can Defog or Rapid Spin away those hazards. (remove hitmonchan, mention skuntank in its place. it gets rid of tspikes without needing to defog or spin, and can offer pursuit support.) (also mention how alt provides removal and checks things like magmortar and lilligant for pyukumuku.)
  • Pyukumuku's goal is to whittle down foes and hazard support from Pokemon like Ferroseed and Weezing helps accomplish that goal.
  • Pyukumuku also appreciates having teammates who can take Electric- and Grass-type attacks for it, such as the previously mentioned Altaria and Ferroseed, (possibly reword this to say, "Specially defensive Pokemon, such as Altaria, Audino, and Clefairy pair nicely with Pyukumuku, as they can absorb hits from strong special attackers such as Lilligant and Pyroar, while Pyukumuku can take on and potentially remove physical attackers with Counter.")
  • Stall teams like utilizing Pyukumuku for it's unique ability Unaware in that it stops stall teams from being mowed down by offensive set-up sweepers. (make this the first bullet and expand on how pyukumuku is basically exclusive to stall.) (again, unaware isn't unique to it.)

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

  • Memento can support hyper offensive teammates like Belly Drum Zangoose, but Pyukumuku is strapped for moveslots and other Memento users like Jumpluff and Alolan Dugtrio are better users of the move. (expand a bit, and mention dual screens support here too.)
  • Taunt can be used on the switch to prevent the opponent from setting up hazards or statusing Pyukumuku, but its heavily prediction reliant and again Pyukumuku is strapped for moves. (remove this, compared to its other slots, this is really bad.)
  • Block prevents a foe from escaping, allowing Pyukumuku to Toxic stall an opponent to death. (remove this part, block is now slashed.)
  • Innards Out can be used to try to exchange one pokemon for another, but Pyukumuku's high base defense stats prevent this from being used to its fullest potential, and Unaware is Pyukumuku's main niche over the other Water-types of the tier. (remove this, innards out is bad and forgoes pyukumuku's main niche.)
  • Mental Herb can alleviate being Taunted for one turn, letting it Toxic something like Qwilfish after being Soaked on the switch or recovering before switching out. (remove this, it will almost always want leftovers.)
  • A specially defensive spread can be used with 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Def and takes advantage of key resistances to Ice, Fire, and Steel, but Pyukumuku wants a high defense stat to use Counter with and Electric- and Grass-type attacks are dominantly special and Pyukumuku will most likely get OHKO'd by them anyways.
  • Rocky Helmet to chip away at physical attackers, but like Mental Herb, leaves Pyukumuku with no passive recovery.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Taunt users**: Pokemon such as Pyroar, Aggron, and Weezing can all utilize Taunt and can shut down Pyukumuku from spreading status and recovering health. (change aggron out for skuntank.) (emphasize how little pyukumuku can do if it gets taunted, because it literally can't do anything but counter if this happens.)

**Toxic**: With no way to alleviate its own status condition, Pyukumuku can be eventually worn down due Toxic and Toxic Spikes from the likes of Audino, Silvally-Fairy, Oriocrio-E, Weezing, and Qwilfish. (remove weezing, you mention it in the first bit, so no need to mention it here, too.)

**Electric- and Grass-type Attacks**: Super effective attacks from the likes of Lilligant, Lanturn, Abomasnow, and Magmortar can severely dent or outright knockout Pyukumuku.

Substitute deserves a mention here, too. So do Poison- and Steel-types.

  • Pyukumuku carves out its own niche for stall-oriented teams with its high defensive stats, workable movepool (i wouldnt mention anything about its movepool, it's really awful), and amazing ability in Unaware
  • Pyukumuku is the only viable user of the Unaware ability and on Stall-oriented teams it plays an invaluable role in stopping setup sweepers. (feels like the same point you just made? you can probably link these two)
  • However, Pyukumuku is a prime target for the opponent to use Substitute and Taunt, which can shut Pyukumuku down. (give a few examples so the user knows which pokemon to look out for)
  • Furthermore, Pyukumuku has a difficult time taking super effective attacks, especially on the special side. (well, most things have a difficult time take super effective hits lol. you can say how it struggles against strong neutral hits however, from the special side)
  • Pyukumuku's shortcomings hinder it from fitting on most playstyles outside of Stall due to how passive it is, requiring an overwhelming amount of support from teammates in order to function properly. (not really shortcomings. it just doesn't work out of stall because of how passive it is, nothing to do with having shortcomings)

Moves
========
  • Toxic allows Pyukumuku to whittle away at the opponent's health gradually more and more
  • Soak is an important move that prevents Pyukumuku from being completely walled against Steel- and Poison-types like Ferroseed and Skuntank. Soak also, in certain situations, removes the STAB bonus from heavy hitters such as Passimian and Golurk. (rephrase the last bit. in all situations it removes the stab bonus from attackers, but i think you mean that it can be useful in specific situations?)
  • Recover replenishes up to 50% of Pyukumuku's health, allowing it to take hits throughout the entire match.
  • Block prevents a foe from escaping, allowing Pyukumuku to Toxic stall an opponent to death. (block allows pyukumuku to eliminate key threats to stall too)
  • Counter lets Pyukumuku make use of its invested physical defense to retaliate against physical attacks from the likes of Primeape and Kangaskhan. (is kangaskhan really going to stay in? can hit pokemon that come in off the u-turn. also allows pyukumuku to hit attackers like aggron without needing to soak then toxic it)

Set Details
========

  • A Bold nature alongside maximum HP and Defense investment allows Pyukumuku to take on as many physical attackers as possible
  • Leftovers provides Pyukumuku with a form of gradual recovery.
  • Pyukumuku's is the only viable Unaware user and allows it to play a crucial role in checking set-up sweepers for stall-oriented teams (because it ignores stat changes (don't say increases though, because it also ignores any decreases too))

Usage Tips
========

  • Pyukumuku should almost always be used on stall-oriented teams and should be brought in when the opponent has and is setting up with their physical set-up sweeper or has a physical wallbreaker such as Absol and Passimian respectively (252+ Atk Choice Band Passimian Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Pyukumuku: 183-216 (58.2 - 68.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery) (pyukumuku isn't a switchin to passimian)
  • When the opponent has a Poison- or Steel-type left, it's advised to Soak on the switch so that you can follow up with a Toxic the next turn and not lose momentum (considering you're playing this on stall, you don't really "lose momentum"), although it can be prediction reliant and can cause mind games.
  • It's important to keep Pyukumuku alive so it's important to keep hazards away and avoid switching in on Toxic in tandem with Wish and Heal Bell support (this point is a mess, reword it please)
  • Be cautious about letting Pyukumuku take too much damage while retaliating back with Counter because it may not be able to immediately Recover afterwards
  • Pyukumuku must also be extremely careful against Pokemon with Substitute and Taunt, as those two moves invalidate Pyukumuku from accomplishing its goals. (what pokemon)

Team Options
========

  • Stall teams like utilizing Pyukumuku for it's ability Unaware in that it stops stall teams from being mowed down by offensive set-up sweepers. (examples)
  • Pyukumuku appreciates being paired with clerics like Audino, who can remove Pyukumuku's status condition with Heal Bell and can pass large wishes for recovery support. (pyuku can take on most fighting-types in return and such)
  • Hazard control, especially of Spikes and Toxic Spikes, can prove useful for Pykukumuku's longetivity. Altaria and Skuntank can Defog away those hazards for Pyukumuku. Altaria also can check Pokemon such as Magmortar and Lilligant for Pyukumuku too. (skuntank can absorb toxic spikes, which is worth mentioning)
  • Pyukumuku's goal is to whittle down foes and hazard support from Pokemon like Ferroseed and Weezing helps accomplish that goal. (pyuku's goal is to primarily deal with set up sweepers, chip damage is more a secondary goal. also i wouldn't use weezing on stall)
  • Specially defensive Pokemon, such as Altaria, Audino, and Clefairy pair nicely with Pyukumuku, as they can absorb hits from strong special attackers such as Lilligant and Pyroar, while Pyukumuku can take on and potentially remove physical attackers with Counter. (don't repeat pokemon. you've already mentioned altaria and audino before)

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

  • Memento can support hyper offensive teammates like Belly Drum Zangoose, but Pyukumuku is strapped for moveslots and other Memento users like Jumpluff and Alolan Dugtrio are better users of the move. (also puts it in a weird position, as it's a stall pokemon trying to fit on offensive teams)
  • Dual Screens do nearly the same thing and cannot be shrugged off by switching out, but can still be removed by using Defog, takes up two moveslots instead of just one, and Pyukumuku would have to run Light Clay over Leftovers which would prevent access to passive recovery. (dual screens and memento can be ran on the same set)

(it won't get ohko'd. but i understand your point. just make it a little more clear)
  • Rocky Helmet can be used to chip away at Physical Attackers, but like Light Clay, leaves Pyukumuku with no passive recovery

Checks and Counters
===================

**Taunt users**: Pokemon such as Pyroar, Skuntank, and Weezing can all utilize Taunt and can shut down Pyukumuku from spreading status and recovering health, leaving it only able to use Counter. (2/3 are also immune to toxic so can come in even on a soak and force it out)

**Toxic**: With no way to alleviate its own status condition, Pyukumuku can be eventually worn down due Toxic and Toxic Spikes from the likes of Audino, Silvally-Fairy, Oricorio-E, and Qwilfish (rip qwilfish).

**Electric- and Grass-type Attacks**: Super effective attacks from the likes of Lilligant, Lanturn, Abomasnow, and Magmortar can severely dent or outright knockout Pyukumuku.

**Poison- and Steel-types**: Poison- and Steel-type Pokemon are immune to Toxic and can easily play around Counter. However, they must be careful about becoming Soaked, as otherwise they can become badly poisoned by Toxic. (mention some?)

**Substitute users**: Pokemon that run Substitute like Oricorio-G, Mesprit, Jynx, Haunter, and Alolan Dugtrio can take the opportunity to stop Pyukumuku and kill all moment for the user. (end doesn't make sense)
Looks good. QC 2/3. Get this written up.

You should rephrase this last crossed out portion - what prevents it from fitting on other team archetypes is its extremely passive nature, as it's only able to inflict damage via Toxic and/or Counter, not it requiring 'an overwhelming amount of team support.' Even if it lacks the appropriate team support (cleric, hazard control), overwhelming is an overstatement as it still functions fine due to its propensity to just solo physical attackers, with only a few exceptions that can still 2HKO Pyukumuku after losing STAB as a result of Soak (ex. Adamant Passimian 2HKOes with CB STAB CC into non STAB CC with SR).

While it is still a viable option for Skuntank, it rarely runs Taunt in the current meta, so Weezing may be a better example there.

ADD POISINIUM Z TOXIC oml - its uses:
  • Allows Pyukumuku to use Toxic while it is affected by Taunt or Encore (main use)
  • Prevents Pyukumuku from being crippled by Switcheroo or Trick
  • Grants Pyukumuku +1 Defense boost in the face of scary physical attackers like Passimian

Checks and Counters
===================

Substitute users should go up here. You might ask other QC, but Substitute users could maybe be combined with Taunt users in one section. Basically, these two moves are your opponent's surefire stops to Pyukumuku's Toxic (a faster Substitute is actually more guaranteed than Taunt because of Z-Toxic / Counter does nothing to you).

**Taunt users**: Pokemon such as Pyroar, Skuntank, and Weezing can all utilize Taunt and can shut down Pyukumuku from spreading status and recovering health, leaving it only able to use Counter. Skuntank and Weezing can also come in even on a Soak and force it out. Last portion is questionable - if they are using Black Sludge and are hit by Soak, they start taking damage from Black Sludge. :(

**Toxic**: With no way to alleviate its own status condition, Pyukumuku can be eventually worn down due Toxic from the likes of Audino, Silvally-Fairy, and Oricorio-E. Altaria always runs Toxic, whereas Audino doesn't run it often

**Electric- and Grass-type Attacks**: Super effective attacks from the likes of Lilligant, Lanturn, Abomasnow, and Magmortar can severely dent or outright knockout Pyukumuku.

**Poison- and Steel-types**: Poison- and Steel-type Pokemon such as Muk, Aggron, and Ferroseed are immune to Toxic and can easily play around Counter. However, they must be careful about becoming Soaked, as otherwise they can become badly poisoned by Toxic.

go up**Substitute users**: Pokemon that run Substitute like Oricorio-G, Mesprit, Jynx, Haunter, and Alolan Dugtrio can take the opportunity to stop Pyukumuku. obvious, but mention that it blocks Toxic

Toxic whittles away at the opponent's health gradually more and more. Toxic is also useful for putting setup sweepers on a timer for its teammates. Block prevents a foe from escaping, allowing Pyukumuku to Toxic stall an opponent to death and eliminate key threats to the stall team. Counter lets Pyukumuku make use of its invested physical defense to retaliate against physical attacks from the likes of Primeape as it U-turns and Aggron without needing to use Soak to badly poison.

Set Details
========

A Bold nature alongside maximum HP and Defense investment allows Pyukumuku to take on as many physical attackers as possible. Leftovers provides Pyukumuku with a form of gradual recovery. Unaware allows Pyukumuku to play a crucial role in checking setup sweepers for stall-oriented teams because it ignores stat changes.

Usage Tips
========

Pyukumuku should almost always be used on stall-oriented teams and should be brought in when the opponent has and is setting up with their physical set up sweeper or has a physical wallbreaker such as Absol and Kangaskhan respectively. When the opponent has a Poison- or Steel-type left, it's advised to Soak on the switch so that you can follow up with a Toxic the next turn, although this tactic is prediction reliant. Pyukumuku appreciates having entry hazards removed so that it doesn't have to constantly rely on Wish and Heal Bell support. Be cautious about letting Pyukumuku take too much damage while retaliating back with Counter because it may not be able to immediately Recover afterwards. Pyukumuku must also be extremely careful against Pokemon with Substitute and Taunt such as Alolan Dugtrio and Weezing, as those two moves prevent Pyukumuku from accomplishing its goals.

Team Options
========

Stall teams like utilizing Pyukumuku for it's (its = possessive / it's = it is) ability Unaware in that it stops stall teams from being mowed down by offensive setup sweepers like Gurdurr. Pyukumuku appreciates being paired with clerics like Audino, who can remove Pyukumuku's status condition with Heal Bell and can pass large wishes for recovery support. In return, Pykukumuku can take on most Fighting-types for Audino. Hazard control, especially of Spikes and Toxic Spikes, can prove useful for Pykukumuku's longetivity. Defog support is useful for preventing Pyukumuku from being worn down by entry hazards, so Skuntank and Altaria are ideal teammates.. Altaria also can check Pokemon such as Magmortar and Lilligant for Pyukumuku too, while Skuntank can automatically absorb Toxic Spikes. Pyukumuku's Toxic causes Pokemon with access to Facade like Stoutland to become more threatening, so Normal resists like Ferroseed and Regirock are useful partners. Additionally, their entry hazards are useful for wearing down foes in combination with Pyukumuku's Toxic. Specially defensive Pokemon, such as Clefairy, pair nicely with Pyukumuku, as they can absorb hits from strong special attackers such as Lilligant and Pyroar, while Pyukumuku can take on and potentially remove physical attackers with Counter. Z-Toxic also allows Pyukumuku to use Toxic while it is affected by Taunt or Encore, prevents Pyukumuku from being crippled by Switcheroo or Trick, and grants Pyukumuku +1 Defense boost in the face of scary physical attackers like Crabominable

This bolded portion goes in OO

Memento can support hyper offensive teammates like Belly Drum Zangoose, but Pyukumuku is strapped for moveslots and other Memento users like Jumpluff and Alolan Dugtrio are better users of the move and Pyukumuku doesn't really fit on hyper offensive teams anyways. Dual Screens do nearly the same thing and cannot be shrugged off by switching out, but can still be removed by using Defog, takes up two moveslots instead of just one, and Pyukumuku would have to run Light Clay over Leftovers which would prevent access to passive recovery. Dual Screens and Memento can also be ran on the same set but takes 3 moveslots. A specially defensive spread can be used with 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Def and takes advantage of key resistances to Ice, Fire, and Steel, but Pyukumuku wants a high defense stat to use Counter with, Electric- and Grass-type attacks are dominantly special, and Pyukumuku will most likely lose the matchup 1v1 anyways. Rocky Helmet can be used to chip away at Physical Attackers, but like Light Clay, leaves Pyukumuku with no passive recovery.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Substitute users**: Pokemon that run Substitute like Oricorio-G, Mesprit, Jynx, Haunter, and Alolan Dugtrio can take the opportunity to stop Pyukumuku and even stops Z-Toxic. (Don't need this here)

**Taunt users**: Pokemon such as Pyroar, Skuntank, and Weezing can all utilize Taunt and can shut down Pyukumuku from spreading status and recovering health, leaving it only able to use Counter. Skuntank and Weezing can also come in even on a Soak and force it out although being Soaked while holding the Black Sludge item now damages them instead of replenishing.

**Toxic**: With no way to alleviate its own status condition, Pyukumuku can be eventually worn down due Toxic from the likes of Altaria, Silvally-Fairy, and Oricorio-E.

Aaronboyer not sure what happened, but Z-Toxic somehow ended up in team options instead of OO. Can you fix this before GP edit this? TY

Pyukumuku carves out its own a niche for on stall-oriented teams with its high defensive stats and amazing ability in Unaware. Pyukumuku is the only viable user of the Unaware ability and on stall-oriented teams, (AC) it plays an invaluable role in stopping setup sweepers. However, Pyukumuku is a prime target for the opponent to use Substitute and Taunt from the likes of Jynx and Weezing, which can shut Pyukumuku down. Furthermore, Pyukumuku has a difficult time taking strong neutral attacks, especially on the special side. Pyukumuku's weaknesses hinder it from fitting on most playstyles outside of stall due to how passive it is, only able to inflict damage via Toxic and Counter.
