Ion Absorb (By YoshiBlaze) - Everything that learns Charge

*Note that Scrappy and Technician kept their original distribution.

Anywho, to make up for how long this has taken, I figure that it's only fair to open both the Discussion Phase and the Submission Phase at once! So submit away while discussing last slate's winners.

Speaking of last slate's winners, let's go over them.
And oh boi, this slate.
TURN ON THE TECHNICIAN EVERYBODY

Hmm, let's see here.
130 Attack with Tech-boosted Mach Punch and Bullet Seed was already good, but let's see what else we've got here.
Tech-boosted Drain Punch
Tech-boosted Rock Slide
Tech-boosted Thunder Punch
Still has Spore
Still has Swords Dance

I wasn't even sure what set this thing would use, so just know that no matter what, this thing is hitting like a truck.

Scyther @ Eviolith
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Wing Attack
- Brick Break
- Knock Off
Honestly, I'm underestimating this thing, THIS BOI IS STROOOOOOOOOOOOONG. Thank goodness we have Stealth Rocks, even in a meta where Housekeeping exists.

Floatzel @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Liquidation
- Aqua Jet
- Ice Punch
- Brick Break
Floatzel appreciates actually having power behind its lightning Speed, getting buffs to its STAB priority as well as its best coverage moves. Floatzel still isn't great in the metagame, but you can't deny that it is way better now (and I'm probably going to use it once this gets (fully) coded :P)

Ambipom @ Life Orb / Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out / Fire Punch
- Headbutt
- Knock Off / Fire Punch
- U-turn
Speaking of boosting the power of coverage moves (Side note: Technician Knock Off 0_0)

Klinklang @ Shuca Berry / Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Gear Grind
- Thunder Clap / Wild Charge
- Facade
- Shift Gear
75 BP STAB moves that hits twice. You've got to love that.

Roserade @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Hidden Power Fire
- Spikes / Sleep Powder
Did anybody order a stronger STAB move? And one that can lessen the blow of Life Orb recoil AND force you to switch less? And it has a 90 BP HP Fire for Scizor (more on Scizor later) if you take a hit?

Scizor @ Scizorite
Ability: Light Metal
EVs: 248 HP / 64 Atk / 120 Def / 16 SpD / 60 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Knock Off / U-Turn
- Roost
or
Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Brick Break
- Knock Off
OO: Steel Wing
Does this need explaining? Thank goodness for Flame Bullet and stuff like Zapdos.

Meloetta-Pirouette @ Relic Charm
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Drain Punch
- Facade
- Quick Attack
- Knock Off / U-Turn
OO: Elemental Punches, Retaliate, Close Combat
Talk about Relic Song all you want, I am SO excited for this. STAB boosted Drain Punches and Facades are going to hurt, STAB Quick Attack gets boosted, and you either get the ridiculous power of Knock Off or the pivoting utility or U-Turn to fill in that last slot. There's also Ice Punch for stuff like Lando, Thunder Punch for Tapu Fini and Suicune, and Fire Punch for Scizor maybe.

Metagross @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Meteor Mash
- Zen Headbutt
- Ice Punch / Rock Slide
- Bullet Punch / Trick
If you get tired of Scizor, we've got another super strong Bullet Puncher out here, with a boosted Ice Punch, Rock Slide, and Brick Break to boot.

Kommo-o @ Kommonium Z
Ability: Scrappy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Clanging Scales
- Dragon Dance
- Drain Punch / Close Combat
- Earthquake
This was a UU or RU set while Kommonium Z was still legal (I forgot how exactly it went, but it was something like this), but now turned up to eleven with Clangorous Soulblaze being unblockable. This is one threatening sweeper once resists and Trick Room setters are dealt with.

Marowak @ Thick Club
Ability: Scrappy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Bonemerang
- Thunder Punch / Fire Punch
- Knock Off
- Swords Dance
Who wants to switch-in while Trick Room's up, huh? And you thought only Alolan Marowak could have fun.

Stakataka @ Life Orb
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Lonely Nature
IVs: 15 Def / 0 Spe
- Shadow Charge
- Gyro Ball
- Earthquake
- Superpower / Trick Room
Trick Room just keeps getting better, doesn't it?
(Yes, we did give it Flying Press as requested)
Staraptor @ Choice Band / Choice Scarf
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Brave Bird
- U-turn
- Filler (Quick Attack, Final Gambit, Pursuit, etc.)
Hey, look, a Staraptor buff! Trying to switch into Reckless-boosted HJK won't be a fun experience for non-Ghosts. And if your name isn't Stakataka or Doublade, Brave Bird is probably gonna hurt anyway. Still has the problem of being worn down way too fast, but Staraptor is something to watch out for outside of Trick Room.

Gigalith @ Smooth Rock / Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock / Toxic
- Recrystallize
Gigalith's great bulk and ability are now further boosted by access to Recrystallize, healing 2/3 of its HP when needed, making it much harder to wear down and allowing it to weaken the opposing team and set up sand much more easily and more often.

Escavalier @ Shell Bell / Leftovers
Ability: Knight's Blade
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Megahorn
- Stalwart Sword
- Drill Run
- Swords Dance
Trick Room. Faces competition from Doublade, but thishas way more Special bulk (Eviolith makes it give up Eviolite), is slower (and thus faster in TR), and doesn't stack weaknesses with Stakataka if you want to use it on the same team.

Gourgeist-Small @ Ghostium Z
Ability: Frisk
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Shadow Charge
- Seed Bomb
- Rock Slide
- Trick-or-Treat
FINALLY, A REASON TO USE Z-ToT GOURGEIST! I mean, it's not great at all, but still sound fun anyhow.

(Oh yeah, Ludi might not edit it in yet, but Tapu Koko is definitely not getting Ion Absorb even though it gets Charge)

Pretty much done with everything

Name: Astonish
Existing Move?: Y
Category: Physical
Type: Ghost
BP: 40
PP: 16
Accuracy: 100%
Effect: 100% Flinch chance.
Priority: +3
Misc.: First turn only.
Z-Move: 100 BP
Niche: Firstly gives Physical Ghosts another good move. Secondly, hits things Fake Out couldn't. Slow Physical ghosts with devastating attack stat like Mega Banette, Dhelmise and Golurk would really appreciate this.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Mostly things that already have it.

Name: Boulder Bash
Existing Move?: N
Category: Physical
Type: Rock
PP: 16
BP: 120
Accuracy: 100%
Effect: 33% Recoil
Priority: 0
Misc.: Makes Contact
Z-Move: 190
Niche: Not quite as OP as Head Smash, which helps it have a better distribution without breaking things. If something can't nullify Head Smash's recoil, it may prefer this for taking less recoil, and over the ever-missing Stone Edge
"The user creates a giant boulder around the foe and charges at it, destroying the boulder."
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Rockruff (All Lycans), Gigalith Line, Both Golems lines, Steelix line, Aerodactyl, Tyranitar line, Aggron Line, Nosepass Line, Relicanth, Rampardos line, Regirock, Sudowoodo Line, Rhyperior, Crustle, Archeops, Terrakion, Tyrantrum, Minior, K. Sandslash, Nidos, Donphan, Swampert, Groudon, Hippowdon, Mamoswine, Excadrill, Swismitoad, Krookodilw, Golurk, Zygarde, Mudsdale

Name: Morning Sun / Moonlight / Synthesis
Existing Move?: Y
Category: Status (All of them)
Type: Normal / Fairy / Grass
PP: 16
Effect: Heals more in their respective weathers, but no longer get a deboof in others (Like Shore Up)
Priority: 0
Misc.: None
Z-Move: Restores Negative stats to 0
Niche: Not only as it now gives a much better PP to use, but, like shore up, doesn't get destroyed by other weathers.
Potential Pokemon With This Move:
Synthesis: Anything with Petals should get it but current distribution is fine

Morning Sun: Current + Blaziken (Is a rooster), Midday and Dawn Lycanroc, Snake-like mons such as Serperior, Arbok and Seviper

Moonlight: Most things that already have it tbh. Tho some pretty nocturnal mons are missing out on having it for some reason, like Absol, Alolan Raticate, Midnight Lycanrock and Noctowl, so they should enter here too.

Name: Pluck / Bug Bite / Incinerate
Existing Move?: Y
Category: Physical / Physical / Special
Type: Flying / Bug / Fire
BP: 65
PP: 32
Effect: 1.5x power if foe has a removable item, and removes said item. If the item is consumable, this mon gains it's, effects.
Priority: 0
Misc.: Makes contact. (Except Incinerate)
Z-Move: 120
Niche: Allows for things other than Dark-Types to have their fun removing items. Fllying now also has a much desired Flying STAB with little consequences.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Original distribution, but for the love of everything that exists, KEEP SCIZOR AWAY FROM BUG BITE.

Name: Melting Pads
Existing Item?: N
Effect: If holder is an Ice-Type, the Ice-Type becomes Water. Ice-Type moves used by and against this pokémon will become Water-Type. Nullifies the damage of Hail to the holder. User's Water-Type moves are boosted by a factor of 1.2x
Removable via Knock Off?: N (Ice-Type Holders), Y (Everything else)
Ignored by Klutz?: Y
Fling Info: 30 BP
Niche: Turns Ice-Types into a much better type. Most Ice mons are defensive for some random reason, and with Water, they can rise a bit in viability. For an example, mons such as Articuno and Avalugg will enjoy the better resistances, while things like Alolan Sandslash could finally see some better use. Bulky Kyurem-Black sets may exist as well. Non-Ice type holders would rarely see usage in this, but Dragon and Grass can turn an immunity into a resistance.

Name: Purifying Pads
Existing Item?: N
Effect: If holder is a Dark-Type, the Dark-Type becomes Fairy. Dark-Type moves used by and against this pokémon will become Fairy-Type. User's Fairy-Type moves are boosted by a factor of 1.2x
Removable via Knock Off?: N (Dark-Type Holders), Y (Everything else)
Ignored by Klutz?: Y
Fling Info: 30 BP
Niche: Makes for some pretty cool change for Dark-Types. They go from being weak to Fighting and Bug to resisting it, and this item also allows to previously pretty rare or even unseen type combos. Bisharp becomes the phenomenal Fairy / Steel, Hydreigon becomes Fairy / Dragon (Which is arguably a better combo), and we can even get new type combinations in Pangoro (Or Scrafty) becoming Fighting / Fairy. Bulky Dark-Types like Mandibuzz can have a nieche with this. Guzzlord also would appreciate not being Dark-Type. Not to mention, this opens up the possibility of things such as Fairy-Type Sucker Punch, Knock Off, Pursuit, and even just some overall good Physical stabs since Fairy has just a few.

Name: Rage Candy Bar
Existing Item?: N(ot as a held one)
Effect: If this Pokémon is a Darmanitan, it becomes Zen Mode Darmanitan just by holding it, and it's Psychic-Type moves have 1.2x more power (Doesn't need the Zen Mode ability)
Removable via Knock Off?: N (Darmanitan), Y (Else)
Ignored by Klutz?: Y
Fling info: 20 BP
Niche: Allows for a pretty damn nice Fire / Psychic mon to finally be used. Not only that but it doesn't require the ability to activate, allowing Sheer Force to be used.

Name: Light Ball
Existing Item?: Y
Effect: If held by a Pchu, Pikachu, Raichu, Plusle, Minun, Pachirisu, Emolga, Dedenne or a Togedemaru, its Attack and Sp. Atk are doubled. I
Removable via Knock Off?: Y
Ignored by Klutz?: Y
Niche: Allows these otherwise weak PU mons to pack a better punch.

Name: Gale Wings
Existing Ability?: Y
Effect: This pokémon's Flying-type moves have their priority increased by 1.
Niche: Whoever played Gen 6 knows this thing is good. With the priority control in the meta, it becomes more balanced.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Other than Talonflame, we could give it to things like Fearow, Swanna and Pidgeot.

Name: Obstinacy
Existing Ability?: N
Effect: User gains a boost in it's moves the lower it's HP gets. Formula is (100-Current percentage of HP) x 1.0
Niche: Allows for better use of Life Orb and makes the user crazy strong when it's HP is low. Sash Users really appreciate this.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Primeape, Lycanroc-Night, Braviary, I dunno the rest.

Name: Illuminate
Existing Ability?: Y
Effect: This pokémon is immune to Dark-Type moves, incluiding status moves such as Taunt and Embargo
Niche: Makes for a brand new immunity-based ability. You won't have to worry about Knock Off, Sucker Punch or Pursuit, and you are no longer Taunt Bait.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Some Fire-Types with really bright flames bursting out of them such as Moltres or Chandelure; Gourgeist gang (Instead of Insomnia), maybe all the Rotom forms through HA, Malamar Line (Suction Cups to be replaced? I remember it had Mind Trick and loses a TBA ability), Necrozma (HA), Elgyem Line (Instead of Synchronize)

Name: Moxie
Existing Ability?: Y
Effect: User gains a boost in it's highest attacking stat when a mon in the field faints
Niche: Remember how Moxie Pyroar was always a joke due to low attack? This fixes not only Pyroar, but gives a chance to Special Attackers to have a pretty strong offensive ability. Minor change is that you don't have to knock a foe out, just for it to faint, making it better in Doubles
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Things that had it + Some new special attackers.

New Type: Rock / Normal
New Moves: Double-Edge, Extreme Speed, Morning Sun, Counter, Body Slam, Encore, Giga Impact, Me First, Retaliate, Slash
Rationale: It's hard to explain why a mon should be normal, but among all of them, they have usually a pastel-like color pallete, which Lycanroc also has. Not to meantion, most ordinary animal-based mons are Normal-Types, and Lycanroc does get that Normal vibe from it.
Competitive Value: Really good coverage and has a pretty essential stab in Extreme Speed. Morrning Sun is there because it's literally called "Midday". Recovery allows it to spam Double Edge better. Return + Stone Edge + Drill Run makes for a pretty good offensive set. With Encore there as well, and a pretty decent Speed tier, it can have some fun outside of attacking.

New Type: Rock / Fire
New Moves: Flare Blitz, WoW, Flame Bullet, Flame Charge, Morning Sun, Moonlight, Blaze Kick, Fire Lash, Sunny Day
Rationale: "Bathed in the setting sun of evening, Lycanroc has undergone a special kind of evolution. An intense fighting spirit underlies its calmness. This strange form is the result of its evolving at dusk. It's very rare in Alola." - USUM dex. Being a mon who depends on the harsh sunlight of the dusk to evolve, and having the typical orange-ish pallete that gives off a fiery vibe, Dusk Lycanroc fits perfectly under Rock / Fire
Competitive Value: Rock / Fire is a pretty decent coverage. With that, and the help from Tough Claws, it can do quite a decent damage. It's a shame this type wasn't used offensively before, but now you have a chance to.

New Type: Rock / Dark
New Moves: Beat Up, Knock Off, Pursuit, Memento, Night Slash, Parting Shot, Power Trip, Switcheroo, Shadow Claw, Moonlight, Drill Run and Accelerock (It's the only Lycanroc form that doesn't get them)
Rationale: "It has no problem ignoring orders it doesn't like. It doesn't seem to mind getting hurt at all—as long as it can finish off its opponent. They live alone without forming packs. They will only listen to orders from Trainers who can draw out their true power." Other than being based on a kind of Werewolf, as well as being a nocturnal species, and evolving only during night, it also has the "Nasty, rebellious and mischievous" look that a lot of Dark-Type mons have.
Competitive Value: With now having Pursuit, Knock Off, Parting Shot, Memento, Moonlight and Drill Run on it's arsenal, and a previously really restricted type combo, Midnight has it's nieches. Sucker Punch gaining stab makes it a better Set-Up sweeper than before.

New Type: Ghost / Fairy
New Moves: Moonblast, Disarming Voice, Moonlight, Psyshock, Draining Kiss, Sing
Rationale:
"It chants incantations. While they usually torment targets, some chants bring happiness."
"Its cry sounds like an incantation. It is said that the cry may rarely be imbued with happiness-giving power."
"Mismagius have been known to cast spells to make people fall in love, so some people search for this Pokémon as if their life depended on it."
"Feared for its wrath and the curses it spreads, this Pokémon will also, on a whim, cast spells that help people."

Being a not-so-evil ghost, as well as being higly related to Magic, and due to their design overall, Misdreavus and Mismagius really fit Ghost / Fairy
Competitive Value: Special Ghost / Fairy with arguably better stabs than Mimikyu, and overall a better movepool. Can also set-up with Nasty Plot, and has good utility moves.

Question: If we have an ability/item/move that is a clone of other, like, say, Solid Rock / Filter or Torrent/Blaze/Overgrow/The bug one, can we change both while using only one submission slot?
Yes, that makes sense

Name: Hot Potato
Existing Item?: N
Effect: When the holder comes into contact with another pokemon, their hold item is switched with the Hot Potato.

Removable via Knock Off?: Y
Ignored by Klutz?: Y

Fling Info: 60 BP. Burns opponent.

Niche: An item to shuffle other items around, ruining item-based strategies.

Name: Paving
Existing Item?: N
Effect: When the holder first encounters a Terrain, Room and/or Pledge effect, all such effects end and the item is consumed.
Removable via Knock Off?: Y
Ignored by Klutz?: Y

Fling Info: 80 BP.
Niche: Away to protect from Room, Terrain and Pledge effect abuse.

Name: Padded Armour
Existing Item?: N
Effect: The holder haves the damage they take from recoil.

Removable via Knock Off?: Y
Ignored by Klutz?: Y

Fling Info: 10 BP.

Niche: This makes recoil-moves more spammable, while reducing damage from Rocky Helmet, Iron Barbs and Rough Skin.

Name: Ice Skates
Existing Item?: N
Effect: Protects from hail damage and doubles speed in hail.

Removable via Knock Off?: Y
Ignored by Klutz?: Y

Fling Info: 80 BP.

Niche: Makes hail teams more versatile.

Pokemon: Kantonese-Ninetails

New Typing: Fire/Psychic

Justification: Has mystical connotations is based on a kitsune, places cureses an uses mystical powers.

Niche: Can better deal with Fighting and Poison types.

Pokemon: Florges

New Typing: Fairy/Grass

Justification: It has absorbed its flower.

Niche: Gains a resistance to Ground, Water and Electric, immunity to powders and dual STAB.

Pokemon: Goodra

New Typing: Dragon/Poison

Justification: It’s a purple, sludge-covered slug.

Niche: A pseudolegend dragon that can deal with fairies.

Pokemon: Primeape

New Typing: Fighting/Steel

Justification: Wears metal manacles.

Niche: Neutral to Fairy and Psychic. Dual STAB is good for offensive mon. Takes almost nothing from stealth rock and is immune to poison. Gains a STAB with no immunities.

Name: Boulder Crush/Steamroller
Existing Move?: Yes/No
Category: Physical
Type: Rock/Bug
PP: 20 (32 max)
Effect: Uses a reversed Grass Knot/Low Kick Formula to determine damage. Non-Contact. 160 Z Powered.
Base Power: -
Accuracy: 100
Priority: 0
Niche: Pseudo Legendaries won't like getting hit with high powered moves. Even without SE, it's consistent damage. Steamroller on the other hand Punishes Mew, Celebi and any most Psychic beasties with lots of fats doing 120 power.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Rock and Fight types, some Grounds too. Same for Steamroller but add some bugs. Snorlax or Emboar for both too.

Name: Seed Bomb
Existing Move?: Yes
Category: Physical
Type: Grass
PP: 20 (32 max)
Effect: 50% chance to inflict Leech Seed on the enemy Pokemon
Base Power: 80
Accuracy: 100
Niche: Leech Seeds! C'mon, not enough Leech Seeds out there! A good smack against Chancey is a very tasty reward, and most likely, a free turn with her switching out.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Has a fairly wide distribution as is. As coverage, it's a lot better than it used to be, as Leech Seeds can rarely serve you wrong, since it's not a status effect (thus triggering guts or preventing sleep or burn), makes no contact, and Liquid Ooze is really rare. All in all, the main point is to give Seed Bomb a fighting chance against the stronger (and Crit boosted) Leaf Blade. For non-grass types such as Donphan or even Mantine, it adds a layer of potential stall. I'm gonna keep increasing the seed chance until it appeals to people.

Name: Brambles
Existing Move?: No
Category: Other
Type: Grass
PP: 20 (32 max)
Effect: Places grass type Stealth Rocks on enemy field. If sunny, they will seed those on the side of the field its on, even if they're already in play when the sun starts. If it snows, they will wither away 2 turns later. Cannot coexist with Stealth Rocks and type specific damage hazards.
Base Power: 80
Accuracy: 100
Niche: Sun buff mostly. Odd as it sounds. Gives alternative hazard as most SR weak Pokémon are either resistant or ice type. It also hampers sand and rain by thwacking their ground rock and water types. Its also a hail buff.
Potential Pokémon: Grass types. Maybe it's to grass types what Draco Meteor is to Dragons?

Name: Trick Room
Effect: Nothing about this move will change, EXCEPT that using it during a Trick Room will create a negation effect that prevents dimension warping for 5 turns (8 with the TR item)
Niche: TR might be too good. This is only a bandaid, granted, but it's a start.

Name: Blaze/Swarm/Torrent/Overgrow
Existing Ability?: Y
Effect: Steelworker for these types instead of waiting for the mon to be low HP.
Niche: Makes these abilities effective immediately. Typhlosion's Eruption will be nothing to sneeze at if it can strike first. Even still, lots of mons have either a better ability or a mega they can turn into. It might be good on Samurot, Typhlosion, Empoleon and a few others. Even the bugs are either horrendous or have better abilities like Compound Eyes or Technician or Guts. I guess it's good for Volcarona to turn Bug Buzz into a powerful attack. The Simians will probably enjoy it, for whatever they're worth. Swarm powered U Turns will sting, no pun intended.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Starters, Simis and the bugs that get them already. Their distribution is pretty good.

Type Changes
Pokemon: Koffing/Weezing
New Type: Poison/Steel
New Moves: Iron Head, Flash Cannon, Iron Defense, Recover
Justification: Ground Immunity and a ton of resists and 4x resists? Weezing with his new access to Recover alone would appreciate the change, but this is a fairy stopper and a rare steel type with WoW who isn't weak to the average quake.

Not any submission (those coming soon), but some sets:

Hydreigon @ Choice Specs / Choice Scarf
Ability: Scrappy
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Dark Pulse
- U-Turn
- Fire Blast
Remember when you had to run the weak-as-fuck Flash Cannon to hit fairies? Well with Scarppy, not anymore, just destroy its pink asses with Draco Meteor or Fire Blast them in case they're called Magearna, Mawile or Klefki.

Kartana @ Fightinium Z
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Leaf Blade
- Sacred Sword
- Stalwart Sword
OR
Kartana @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Leaf Blade
- Sacred Sword
- Stalwart Sword
- Defog
No longer has to rely on a weak-ass-fuck steel move too (in this case Smart Strike) for steel STAB. This may mean that it could see more usage as a fairy revenge killer.
One thing i don't understand is why Lunala didn't get Shadow Charge even knowing that it has the word Shadow at its own signature ability (ik it would be useless on it, ok?).
Also, give Blacephalon Flame Bullet.

Name: Misty Malice
Existing Ability?: No
Effect: While Misty Terrain is in effect, this Pokemon's Special Attack is boosted 1.5x.
Niche: Gives some offensive use for Misty Terrain in this Grass Pelt clone.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Ribombee, Mr. Mime, Aromatisse, Primarina, Some Pokemon that learn Mist (Masqerain, Lapras, Cryogonal, etc.)

Name: Psycho Haven
Existing Ability?: No
Effect: While Psychic Terrain is in effect, this Pokemon's Special Defense is boosted 1.5x.
Niche: Gives some defensive use for Psychic Terrain, expanding on preventing priority moves by making benefactors even harder to revenge kill and makes it easier for them to set up.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Raichu-Alola, Natu line, Meowstic-M, Ralts line (excluding Gallade), Bellossom, Happiny line, Spritzee line

Name: Detain
Existing Ability?: No
Effect: On switch-in, this Pokemon and its opponent become under the effect of Fairy Lock.
Niche: This one turn trapping ability attempts to make a balanced form of a non-type specific trapping ability. Fairy Lock traps both Pokemon in for the next turn. One turn is often all you need to KO something or at least heavily damage it, and it's balanced by the length and prevention of double switching.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Klefki (iffy, but Fairy Lock is its signature move), Pokemon with Embargo, but very few of them
Name: Legend's Anointing
Existing Move?: No
Category: Status
Type: Dragon
BP: N/A
PP: 32 Max
Effect: 100% Accuracy Adds the Dragon-typing to the opposing Pokemon in addition to their original types.
Priority: 0
Misc.: Replaces types added by Trick-or-Treat or Forest's Curse. Fails if the opponent is already Dragon-type.
Z-Move: Raises all stats by 1
Niche: You know how good Z-Trick-or-Treat could be if Gourgeist had the stats or movepool to abuse it with? Well, apply that to some Dragons. It's the same idea, use the Z-Move to get +1 Everything and then smack the opponent with a super effective Dragon move to easily get them out of the way. Plus, depending on what gets this move, it might serve a slight use to getting KOs without using the Z-Move.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Vibrava and Flygon, Tyrunt line, Druddigon, Noivern, Drampa, Jangmo-o line, Charizard, Gyarados, Bagon line (maybe), Deino line (maybe), Dragon-type cover legendaries

Name: All-Terrain Blast
Existing Move?: No
Category: Special
Type: Normal
BP: 50
PP: 16 Max
Effect: 100% Accuracy, does double damage in terrains and becomes the same type of the terrain.
Priority: 0
Misc.: Affected by Bulletproof
Z-Move: Breakneck Blitz (160 BP (Weather Ball is apparently 160)), will turn into the appropriate Z-Move that matches the terrain (this is also how Weather Ball works).
Niche: You know that Mega Camerupt set that uses Nature Power when paired with Tapu Koko or Bulu in order to launch a powerful coverage move (or if your name is Yoshiblaze, with Specs Prankster Whimsicott)? This is that, but stronger for most Pokemon and can't be taunted. This allows for cool synergy between with Tapus.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: The Tapus and Pokemon that learn terrain moves, some other stuff

Name: Aura Sphere
Existing Move?: Yes
Category: Special
Type: Fighting
BP: 90
PP: 32 Max
Effect: Never misses, 10% chance to lower the opponent's Special Defense by 1
Priority: 0
Misc.: Affected by Bulletproof
Z-Move: All-Out Pummeling (175 BP)
Niche: I reverted Aura Sphere to its old base power of 90 and added a soetimes handy secondary effect (which will also make it Sheer Force boosted), but most importantly, this can be redistributed to give Pokemon that are forced to rely on Focus Miss a good Fighting-type Special move.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Original distribution + Most Fighting-types and some things with Focus Blast (Golduck, Gengar, Magmar & Magmortar, Exploud, Deoxys, Darmanitan, Zoroark, Meloetta), Espeon, Pidgeot
Name: Blue Herb
Existing Item?: No
Effect: When held, if this Pokemon has it's stats lowered, all of it's stat changes will immediately be inverted. (Consumable)
Removable via Knock Off?: Yes
Ignored by Klutz?: Yes
Fling BP: 10
Niche: A one time Contrary that can benefit Pokemon that like to use moves like Leaf Storm or Draco Meteor or help to counter Sticky Web or Defog. Unburden users, particularly Hawlucha (with Superpower) and regular Sceptile (with Leaf Storm) greatly boost in viability thanks to being able to boost their power and speed at the same time. However, keep in mind that ALL stat changes are inverted as if Topsy-Turvy was used, so don't try setting up with something like Dragon Dance before use. (Also, this item lets Serperior use Calm Mind once, since Contrary makes it drop it's Special stats, but the Blue Herb immediately raises them, which is kinda funny.)

Name: Mimic Orb
Existing Item?: No
Effect: When held, the first move that the holder is targeted with gets added to this Pokemon's moveset until switched out. Displays the same message as Mimic does when activated
Removable via Knock Off?: Yes
Ignored by Klutz?: Yes
Fling BP: 30
Niche: A fun item that grants a fifth move when the holder is hit by move. Switch the holder in a on an unsuspecting opponent (trust me, nobody would expect this) and steal something like Earthquake to add a way to deal damage, Strength Sap (FREE NUPTUP/her friendly cousin Bellossom) in all of its broken glory, U-Turn so you can pivot out yourself, and more! Plus, who doesn't want a fifth move?.... That can be used more than once.
Pokemon: Yanmega
New typing: Bug/Flying -> Bug/Dragon
New Moves: Dragon Pulse, Draco Meteor, Twister, Dragon Tail
Niche: I know that everyone wants Flygon o be the first Bug/Dragon-type, but I've always wanted Yanmega to be one. I mean, for a long time, I even thought it learned Dragon Pulse. It's a dragonfly, which gave Game Freak the opportunity to give it a cool typing by taking that inspiration literally. But they didn't, and now we're here.

Pokemon: Emboar (and Pignite)
New Type: Fire/Rock
Justification: To be different from gen 3-4 starters and take advantage of Head Smash and Reckless.

Pokemon: Electivire
New Type: Electric/Fighting
New Ability: Motor Drive / Vital Spirit | HA: Sheer Force
New Move: Mach Punch, Drain Punch
Justification: It's human-like and we all want it. Mach Punch is because Magmortar learns it, so why Electivire shouldn't?

Pokemon: Magmortar
New Type: Fire/Poison
New Ability: Flame Body / Vital Spirit | HA: Sheer Force
New Moves: Sludge Bomb, Venoshock, Gunk Shot
Justification: Electivire and Magmortar are counterparts, so if one gets a secondary type, the other should get it as well, and also it already learns some Poison-type moves by level-up, because it's linked with toxic smoke.

Pokemon: Yanmega

Actually I wanted Flygon to be Bug/Ground. Just like you I thought Yanmega to be Bug/Dragon

Just because a type combination id taken doesn't mean it's not cool. Plus, Nincada is't viable in any tier, sooo
/s stands for sarcasm.

Either way, I just remembered this is also a discussion phase, so let's discuss a little.

Roserade, Meloetta-P and Breloom all appreciate their Recovery STABs being boosted. Roserade will also annihilate anything that is poisoned with Venoshock. Let's not forget Gear Grind essentially being a 150 BP move for Klinklang. The best user is still probably Smeargle Scizor, but now it has Boosted Brick Break, so screw Heatran, amirite? Oh, and 105 BP U-Turn. It can even be switched for Eviolith Scyther for better Speed.

Specs Draco Meteor Hydreigon without needing to worry about faries blocking the move will be really fun. It can now ditch Flash Cannon for a better move. And Scarf Krookodile may spam Earthquake freely. Pikachu is rather irrelevant (Btw, do both Raichus get it?), but hell yes do I want to spam Volt Tackle with Raichu. Kommo-o can now use it's Z-Move without Fairies blocking it. Marowak can finally throw it's bonemrang high enough to hit birbs.

The move that caught my attention the most. It gives such a cool recovery move to things that really needed it.

Stakataka lost the one thing people complained the most: Bad use of Rock-Type. Now it has such a fantastic type combo, and will be a top tier mon since the meta is Trick Room Heaven at this point

Staraptor is an interesting alternative to Hawlucha. HJK Reckless is gonna destroy a bunch of things. Shame it probably won't see as much use with Trick Room being as big as it is, but it can still pack a powerful punch (And it doesn't even have fists)

Name: THICC Thick Fat.
Existing Ability?: Yep
Effect: Halves Ice- and Fire-type damage. The user is inmune to Burns, Freeze and Hail damage.
Niche: While the mons that already got it really liked having a semi-resistance to Fire and Ice (both really conmon offensive types), i'm really sure that not being hindered by Burns and Freeze, probably the most annoying status effects of the game. Also, more Pokemon are going to benefit from it :].
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Everything that learnt it before + Dragonite, Hippopotas line, Grimer line (+Alola forms), Goodra, Crabominable, Wailmer line, Guzzlord (?)
Name: Toxic Vaccine.
Existing Ability?: I'm not sure (it's supposed to replace 2 abilities, so i'm not sure if it would count as a new one by itself)
Effect: Heals 1/8 of max HP per turn when poisoned. The user is inmune to Poison-type attacks.
Niche: Poison Heal is such a great ability only given to one mon (this doesn't mean that Gliscor isn't bad, ok?) and immunity is, ehhhh. Well, i just wanted to give this unique abilities to more dissapointing mons. Oh, and the Poison-type immunity just made sense.
Potential Pokemon With This Ability: Everything that got Poison Heal and Immunity + Flabebe line, Chikorita line.

Name: Round.
Existing Move?: Yep
Category: Special
Type: Normal
BP: -
PP: 20
Effect: Base Power increases proportionally to the user's happiness. Round's Damage formula is Base Power = Pokemon's Happiness / 2.5, allowing it it reach a maximum of 102 Base Power when the user's happiness is highest.
Priority: 0.
Misc.: Sound based.
Z-Move: 160 BP Breakneck Blitz.
Niche: Specially oriented Normal mons apreciate having a strong STAB Special attack, also, -ate abusers enjoy having a stronger move than Hyper Voice.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Everything that got it before.

Name: Hidden Power.
Existing Move?: Yep
Category: Special
Type: Normal
BP: 70
PP: 15
Effect: Type is based on the user's IVs. Hidden Power is Physical if the user's Attack is higher than its Special Attack.
Priority: 0.
Misc.: Doesn't make contact.
Z-Move: 120 BP Breakneck Blitz.
Niche: Now HP is more powerful and more useful for physical attackers that lack any sort of coverage options.
Potential Pokemon With This Move: Everything that got it before.

shouldn't thicc fat also grant hail damage immunity?
