Tailwind Sand team

The goal of this team is to set up tailwind to give my heave hitters such as tapu lele an easier time smashing through opponents team with some weather control to prevent pokemon such as ninetails or torkoal from ripping apart my team.

Aerodactyl @ Focus Sash
Ability: Unnerve
Level: 50
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Taunt
- Tailwind
- Rock Slide
- Sky Drop

The tail wind set upper with taunt to prevent mons such as p2 or snorlax from setting up. Most people have suspected wide guard and get caught off guard by the taunt. He also runs sky drop to help pokemon such as lele have an easier time nuking major threats by holding them in place.

Tapu Lele @ Choice Specs
Ability: Psychic Surge
Level: 50
EVs: 12 HP / 4 Def / 236 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic
- Moonblast
- Dazzling Gleam
- Thunderbolt

I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this spread. I ripped it from a choice scarf set but it seems to do the job nicely. This thing hits like an absolute monster and the anti-priority support it gives makes the tailwind all the more potent. I'm not sure if its worth running hp fire over gleam.

Garchomp @ Groundium Z
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 44 SpD / 204 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Protect
- Poison Jab
- Fire Fang

A fairly straightfoward garchomp set with a bit of bulk to help it take hits such as p2 ice beam. I feel like I dont use fire fang often at all and I'm considering maybe running swords dance instead. When paired with aeordactyl spamming eq with rock slide under tailwind has sealed the game for me many times.

Gigalith @ Rockium Z
Ability: Sand Stream
Level: 50
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 124 Atk / 4 Def / 124 SpD / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Rock Slide
- Heavy Slam
- Earthquake
- Wide Guard

Even if torkoal or ninetales manage to get their weather up against me I can stop them from doing major damage with wide guard. He is my main Rockium z helps take care of threats such as gyrados or arcanine with heavy slam taking care of the kokos and other abundant fairys for me. I'm not sure if running brave 0 speed with be better or not, even at min speed he still doesnt under speed torkoal and I'm not sure if I will be underspeeding anything worth it under trick room.

Arcanine @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Intimidate
Level: 50
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Wild Charge
- Protect
- Extreme Speed

Intimidate support and my main kartana/celesteela answer. Whenever I bring him he is mainly used to rotate intimidates but if I can get him under tail wind he has a very easy time of dismantling teams on his own. I'm not sure what the best item would be for him

Kartana @ Assault Vest
Ability: Beast Boost
Level: 50
EVs: 84 HP / 4 Atk / 4 Def / 204 SpD / 212 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Leaf Blade
- Night Slash
- Sacred Sword
- Smart Strike

I'm not 100% sold on this spread but boosted kartana is very strong. He is also my only answer for gastrodon, fini, and every other bulky water type in this meta. I am thinking I may want to opt for a spread that is able to ohko opposing kartanas.
