Tyranitar

[OVERVIEW]
+Great Attack stat that allows it to break walls and OHKO many common presences in CAP, like Hoopa Unbound and Aurumoth.
+Rock is a great offensive type, as it allows Tyranitar to be the most powerful user of Stone Edge, its main STAB option
+Immunity to Psychic-type moves, allowing it to take advantage of Choice-locked foes.
+High defensive stats that allow it to survive longer.
+Useful ability in Sand Stream, which causes residual damage to the foe and boosts its already high Special Defense.
+Access to Pursuit, allowing it to trap opposing Ghost and Psychic-type Pokemon, along with anything sufficiently weakened.
+Coverage moves like Ice Punch and Fire Blast (the ladder of which is usable thanks to a decent Special Attack stat)
+Helpful status moves like Dragon Dance and Stealth Rock.
-Problematic defensive typing, with a 4x weakness to Fighting and a 2x weakness to six other fairly common offensive types (Fairy, Ground, Water, Grass, Steel, and Bug).
-Low Speed that must be boosted to become helpful.
-Weak to common threats in CAP, like Cawmodore, Colossoil, and Tomohawk, just to name a few.

Moves
========
-Dragon Dance is the focus of this set, boosting Mega Tyranitar's already high attack to astronomical levels. Also, it allows Mega Tyranitar to outspeed anything with less than 360 Speed after one boost.
-Stone Edge is a great STAB move, OHKOing threats like Aurumoth, Mollux, Volkraken, both Mega Charizards, Hoopa Unbound, Kyurem-Black, Pinsir, Talonflame, Thundurus, Tornadus Therian, and Weavile, even when Mega Tyranitar has no boosts.
-Fire Punch allows Mega Tyranitar to OHKO Steel types that could wall it like Ferrothorn and Mega Scizor after one boost. After one boost, it also 2HKOes Skarmory. Grass-type Pokemon like Breloom are also forced to be more careful bout switching in.
-Superpower allows Tyranitar to OHKO Chansey and Heatran after one boost. It also lets Mega Tyranitar OHKO other Dark-type Pokemon like Tyranitar and Colossoil (the ladder of which has a chance of over 90% to be OHKOed).
-Ice Punch works well with Fire Punch to prevent being walled, as it allows an unboosted Mega Tyranitar to 2HKO Defensive Landorus Therian, Tank Garchomp, and Physically Defensive Gliscor. If Dragonite's Multiscale is broken, Ice Punch can also get rid of it. In general, Ice Punch can be used on Grass or Dragon-type Pokemon that would take the same damage from Stone Edge, like Latios or Serperior, because of its higher accuracy.

Set Details
========
-252 Atk is meant to allow Mega Tyranitar to do maximum damage.
-252 Spe is meant to get Mega Tyranitar's Speed as high as possible so that it becomes useful once boosted.
-Sand Stream is chosen because it helps Tyranitar switch into special attacks before it has Mega Evolved and allows it to eliminate foes' weather as soon as it switches in.
-Jolly is run to outspeed Cawmodore, Stratagem, Syclant, Tornadus Therian, and Weavile after one boost, which is more important to sweeping the opposing team than higher initial Attack.
-Adamant can be run for maximum damage and to have higher chances of unboosted Mega Tyranitar's 2HKOing Unaware Clefable and Fidgit and giving it a potential OHKO on Pyroak and Mega Scizor. Also, it increases Mega Tyranitar's chances of 2HKOing Cyclohm and Chansey (without Superpower) after one boost. However, the lower speed means Mega Tyranitar will only outspeed Pokemon with less than 360 Speed (below base Speed 115) after one boost.

Usage Tips
========
-Mega Tyranitar works best mid and late battle as a sweeper and cleaner once its counters have been eliminated
-Send in Tyranitar on something that it can easily set up on (Mollux, Latias, Raikou, etc.), likely following one of your Pokemon fainting.
-Use Dragon Dance as many times as you can before beginning to attack (aim to use it just enough times to outspeed and KO all opposing Pokemon).
-Attack once the opponent sends out a Pokemon that can KO Tyranitar
-Keep in mind the Special Defense boost from Sand Stream when considering what can be set up on.

Team Options
========
-Excadrill is an obvious partner for any Tyranitar set, not only because of its ability to sweep with Sand Rush, but also because of its ability to avenge a KOd Tyranitar with its Speed boost.

Moves
========
-Pursuit allows Tyranitar to force KOs on low health Pokemon under 364 Speed, as they will either stay in and take the hit or switch out and take an even bigger hit. It also helps Tyranitar punish things like Wish passes and U-Turn or Volt Switch users.
-Stone Edge is Tyranitar's go-to move for dealing heavy amounts of damage. It 2HKOs Pyroak, OHKOs Aurumoth, Mollux, Volcanion, and Zapdos after Stealth Rock damage, and OHKOs Volkraken, all forms of Charizard, Talonflame, Thundurus, Tornadus, and Weavile.
-Fire Punch allows Tyranitar to punish switches to Steel types, 2HKOing Ferrothorn, Scizor, and Klefki, along with dealing fair damage to other things.
-Superpower is another option to 2HKO Colossoil, Heatran, and Naviathan. It also helps punish other Steel types and does over 50% to Chansey if Tyranitar's Attack has not dropped yet.
-Ice Punch helps Tyranitar to punish other would-be counters, 2HKOing Garchomp, Landorus-Therian, and Zygarde.
-Crunch is another STAB option for Tyranitar, devastating Ghost and Psychic types like Gengar, Latias, and Latios. It also 2HKOs Slowbro after Stealth Rock damage.

Set Details
========
-252 Speed EVs, a Jolly nature, and Choice Scarf bring Tyranitar's Speed up to 364, allowing it to Pursuit trap things as fast as Starmie, as well as helping it get other KOs.
-252 Attack EVs allows Tyranitar to deal as much damage as possible while still outspeeding a fair number of foes.
-Sand Stream helps out Tyranitar by raising its Special Defense and providing chip damage on foes, making it better able to survive and deal damage.

Usage Tips
========
-Tyranitar works best mid and late game as a result of its ability to Pursuit trap, revenge KO, and clean.
-If your opponent currently has a Pokemon out that is both outsped by Tyranitar and low enough in health to be KOd by Pursuit (and chip damage from sand), then send in Tyranitar and force it out of the match.
-Use Pursuit on Psychic types that can't really do anything to threaten Tyranitar so that they wile be forced to stay in or face the consequences (example: non-Earthquake Latios).
-Pursuit is also good for predicted switches in general if you want to deal a fair amount of damage to the foe.
-Use your coverage moves when predicting switches (example: if you know the opponent will go into Garchomp, use Ice Punch) or to clean up at the end of the match.

Team Options
========
-Excadrill is always a good option when Sand is involved. The boost to its Speed allows it to KO some things that Tyranitar could get taken out by, like Syclant, Choice Scarf Volkraken, and Mega Lopunny.
-Fighting types like Tomohawk and Keldeo appreciate the removal of Psychic and Ghost types that Tyranitar can provide and support it in return by getting rid of Steel types.
-Psychic and Flying type Pokemon can remove the Fighting types that easily KO Tyranitar and Tyranitar. Tyranitar helps take out the Bug types that trouble the former and the Ice type (Kyurem-Black) that bothers the latter.

On the Mega Tyranitar set, should I switch the positioning of Adamant and Jolly? Also, should I put Superpower and Fire Punch beneath Ice Punch? Also, would anyone object if I add Earthquake as a third option with Fire Punch and Superpower?

Jolly seems preferable to Adamant imo. Outspeeding all those mons you mention is more conducive for sweeping. Missing the 2HKO on Unaware Clefable sorta hurts, but simply having SR support fixes this. As far as coverage goes, I trust your judgement. You've used mega ttar way more than I have, so I'm sure you know which stuff works.
