I like pitchiness, and falloff. I don't know, for me that's the beauty. There's something about whoever recording the album knowing that the flaws are there and yet doing little to nothing about it. Rossetti's vocals are soft, cute, even. Heliocentric is a great album and I'm glad you agree...

Well, the thing about The Ocean is that I found Aeolian a bit too heavy for my liking...but post-Aeolian is awesome (Precambrian, Heliocentric). Especially Heliocentric, it's a very beautiful album, and their new vocalist Loic Rossetti is probably the best voice I've heard in metal. Not enough...

Anyone here like The Ocean? Their new album Anthropocentric can be streamed here. They're probably my favorite band second to Isis. But from the looks of it you guys listen to "heavier" music :c
