Sigh people just don't understand. You don't get your speed increase the turn you mega evolve. Since mine had evolved the turn before yours mine was always going to be faster.

I can complain, Ageislash + Mega Gengar and centralising the entire game and you can't go a game without seeing either of them. I'm not saying it wasn't a GG just that every team has to be focused around those two and once you lose your counters the games basically over.

I'm pretty sure you do get the stats when you MEVo, otherwise it would be pointless for my mega to activate before your attack.

You get your other 5 stats yes, however speed does not increase till your second turn.
