I'm no expert, but at the minimum you'll be tracked for your rates, and that way you'll be recognised more, as well as having a chance to get rate of the week if you're an official rater

The rewards are a different role color and the ever-desired reacts! After a minimum threshold of rates, your time spent as a competitive helper/team rater will be used in determining the Live Chat Contributor badge award or the Team Rater badge award!
