    Ability Unity!

I probably won't have time to play the rest of the month, so I thought I'd share a team that I used to climb the ladder. I lost my first battle with a completely different team, but even including that early hiccup, I've peaked at 18-3, 4th on the ladder, and an Elo of 1320. I then played 2 more...

    Return'd

What if the ordinarily-40-or-less-BP priority moves could only achieve half the power of normal moves? For example, Quick Attack, Feint, and Aqua Jet would have 51 BP, but Extreme Speed and Sucker Punch would have 102

You don't have to add a new move to every Pokemon. Some of the best-designed Megas are simple. Exactly. No point in adding it. Move addition looks more balanced. Speed might be a liiiiiittle crazy, but that's just my opinion. Nice.

Megas For All: V3! (Slate #4 VOTING; Check Post #170)

I haven't spoken with anyone about this, but it was discouraged in the last project, so I'm gonna go ahead and tentatively say no, since it just adds to coding difficulties. For instance, if G-Luke's Mega Blissey submission wins, we'll probably just call the ability Filter because it already...

Megas For All: V3! (Slate #4 VOTING; Check Post #170)

Please stop adding attacking and setup moves to Diggersby. Drain Punch, Sucker Punch, Close Combat, Shift Gear, and Extreme Speed are all very inappropriate additions given the viability of its base form. Teeter Dance is also inappropriate, since all it does is add more possibilities for hax...

    Type Reflectors

I doubt it'd become broken. It's super rare that Shedinja actually ends up as broken as everyone things it would be in this type of metagame. Plus, you never really know before testing it out.

Megas For All: V3! (Slate #4 VOTING; Check Post #170)

There is no precedent for primary type change in real Mega Evolutions, and since we're trying to keep this realistic, we intend to keep it that way. The only exceptions to this rule will occur when the base forme's typing is Normal/Flying. Aside from Normal/Flying types, no Pokemon (bar the...

    Type Reflectors

So a Gyarados in the first slot would Mega evolve from Water/Flying to Water/Dark, but a Gyarados in the second slot (with Tornadus-T in the first slot) would Mega evolve from Water/Flying to Water/Flying? The point of AAA is to give 'mons new abilities, but they don't keep them on Mega evolution

    Type Reflectors

Why don't types change on Mega Evolution? Seems pretty inconsistent with the way things generally work in OM's and in real Pokemon games.

    Accessorize!

The code, uhh... needs some work. Each time an accessorized 'mon switched in, it reapplied the boosts (Landorus-T had base 265 attack at the end). Also, typings didn't work at all. Proof: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/rom-accessorize-680

I like Mega Flareon's Solrock a lot. It's especially great as a Talonflame check. However, I don't think Rock Head is quite enough for it. If it got Magic Guard instead, it would probably actually see a little bit of niche use in OU. As for the Lunatone options, I don't think any of them would...

Follow The Leader [Pre Viability Ranking Discussion!]

Not a bad idea if you're specifically targeting bird teams, but Rotom-W is generally more usable against other teams too, especially if you're also using the ubiquitous Heatran

Well of course it wouldn't be the only check... It's not like anyone would run Clefable, Rotom, and 4 Grass/Bug types. I just haven't seen it on a Clefable team yet, and I think it could be useful in a core. I feel like I addressed all of your criticisms to some degree in my original post, so...

Had a good (albeit haxy) match with NOCturnal Hunter http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/customgame-341778421 (sorry about the hax) (so sorry) Observations: Heatran is probably one of the best followers in the entire metagame. If you're in a time crunch, watch turn 36 to the end...

There's already been a Rock/Fire Magic Guard Solrock submitted, and I don't think adding Head Smash is enough to make it different enough from the other one. Sorry :/
