I really don't know why he specifically used arctic but here is one he did that uses US data over the same period of time and this is taken from another paper comparing the correlations of both CO2 and the sun with temperature change (it also uses arctic temperature): Source...

Thanks everybody, I guess I'll just stick with a better major and use philosophy as my minor. I'm really interested in it but I don't know if I would particularly want to teach it, so thanks for saving me a lot of trouble!

I am a graduating senior about to go off to college and I was thinking about majoring in philosophy. Does anyone here have any experience in that field that could give me their opinion about it? If this is the wrong forum could someone direct me to somewhere I can discuss this?
