Shed Tail has been banned. WHAT DO WE DO NOW!?!?

Everyone is talking about quick banning this new Paradox mon, but unless Walking Wake is running Tera Blast (Electric), this thing is going to have a hard time facing bulky Water types, and especially Azumarill that laughs at its STAB and other coverage moves.

Swagger is still banned in Smogon formats I believe. Though it gets access to Flatter too, so maybe a special attacking set could work with your same strategy?

It really bothers me it can't learn Tailwind. It makes no sense logically or competitively.

If this thing ever gets Scale Shot through a potential future move tutor I can definitely see that happening. But for now Icicle Crash is the safer option.

Salt Cure only does 25% chip damage on Water and Steel types. It's 12.5% on everything else (Same as normal poisoning). Still, makes little sense to me that Salt Cure doesn't also inflict more damage on Grass and Ghost types since salt is the oldest herbicide in human history, and salt is...

Tempting as it is, and as someone who always puts an STAB from both types no matter what, Hyper Voice is not really worth it. Earth Power or another status move is just better in my opinion.

Yeah between Moxie and its speed boosting offensive moves this dancing duck has the potential to plow through entire teams if not countered quickly.

There is also the option to run all of that. Gigaton Hammer one turn, then keep your opponent guessing what the next move will be. A Protect stall? Thunder Wave? Knock Off? Or something else entirely? The hammer may be predictable, but everything else is not. You could even RNG the move...
