[OVERVIEW]
* Arceus-Electric's typing makes it a unique choice as an Arceus forme, letting it provide teams with an essential check to common Flying-types in the tier such as Mega Salamence and Arceus-Flying.
* It is the only Calm Mind Arceus forme other than Arceus-Rock that is able to break past Ho-Oh effectively, and it is also capable of dealing with Primal Kyogre.
* Good overall bulk means Arceus-Electric is able take on threats such as Mega Lucario and Primal Kyogre after a Calm Mind boost, threats that other Calm Mind Arceus formes such as Arceus-Dark and Arceus-Rock can't check defensively.
* However, Arceus-Electric is susceptible to common Ground-types such as Primal Groudon and Arceus-Ground, which are able to exploit it easily. Pokemon that it is usually designated to check such as Rayquaza, Mega Salamence, and Ho-Oh also carry Ground-type coverage, which can give it issues.
* Arceus-Electric has to compete with Calm Mind Arceus formes that are able to utilize a mono-attacking set with Refresh such as Arceus-Flying and Arceus-Dark, which have a superior typing and are able to hit Ground-types with Judgement. typing. Arceus-Electric is also forced to run coverage, as otherwise it is completely stopped by Ground-types.
* Arceus-Electric is very team specific for the small positives it provides. It is advised to use other Calm Mind Arceus formes over it due to how they outclass it.

Moves
========
* Calm Mind is used to boost Arceus-Electric's Special Attack and Special Defense, which gives it formidable offensive presence if enough boosts are accumulated and makes Arceus-Electric difficult to break with special attacks.
* Judgment is a reliable and powerful STAB attack that is able to OHKO Yveltal after Stealth Rock and 2HKO Primal Kyogre.
* Ice Beam combines with Judgment to offer neutral coverage on the entire tier and OHKOes Mega Salamence and Rayquaza, deals some chip damage to Primal Groudon, damages Arceus-Ground, and threaten Zygarde-C, which would wall Arceus-Electric otherwise.
* Recover is a reliable recovery option, keeping Arceus-Electric healthy throughout the game.
Set Details
========
* Full HP investment maximizes Arceus-Electric's bulk, allowing it to avoid a 2HKO from defensive Zygarde-C's Thousand Arrows and use Calm Mind or recover off the damage.
* Maximum Speed investment is used to outspeed Mega Lucario and Speed tie with opposing Arceus formes along with Jolly Mega Salamence.
Usage Tips
========
* It is essential to play carefully against any teams with a strong defensive backbone. Be wary of hard switching Arceus-Electric into Pokemon it can usually check but commonly carry Toxic, such as defensive Ho-Oh, Lugia, Arceus-Water, and defensive Yveltal, as it is unable to run Refresh, so switching Arceus-Electric in makes it very vulnerable and can be risky.
* It is best to switch Arceus-Electric into attacks from Choice-locked Pokemon such as Oblivion Wing from Yveltal and Brave Bird from Ho-Oh, providing it with a free turn to set up, attack, or recover off damage. If possible avoid switching into Life Orb Yveltal and Rayquaza, as they can deal a considerable amount of damage with Dark Pulse and Draco Meteor. Naturally hard-hitting Pokemon such as Mega Lucario and Primal Kyogre can also do massive damage to Arceus-Electric, meaning that switching into them can lead to momentum loss, as Arceus-Electric is forced to recover off the damage.
* Pokemon that Arceus-Electric is commonly an answer to such as Mega Salamence, Ho-Oh, and Rayquaza can sometimes be carrying Earthquake as a coverage move, and it is advised to scout for these moves; if they do carry these moves, Arceus-Electric's ability to check them formidably is limited.
* Calm Mind is best set up late-game, as Arceus-Electric can be played more recklessly and break through the opposing team when all notable answers such as Primal Groudon, Blissey, Chansey, Ferrothorn, and Arceus-Ground have been removed or extremely weakened; otherwise, these Pokemon can easily exploit Arceus-Electric or use it as setup fodder.
Team Options
========
* Giratina-O is an essential teammate for Arceus-Electric. It provides a strong answer to Ground-types such as Primal Groudon and Arceus-Ground due to its Ground immunity and removes entry hazards such as Toxic Spikes, which threatens Arceus-Electric because it is unable to use Refresh, with Defog. In return, Arceus-Electric helps against Yveltal, which threatens Giratina-O, and physical attackers such as Ho-Oh and Mega Salamence, which Giratina-O is unable to deal with effectively due to its lack of recovery.
* Primal Groudon is able to provide Stealth Rock support to help Arceus-Electric deal with Ho-Oh and Mega Salamence and break Multiscale on Lugia. Primal Groudon sets with Fire moves such as Overheat also help deal with Ferrothorn and Necrozma-DM and considerably weaken Arceus-Ground.
* Zygarde-C is able to provide a check to most Primal Groudon variants and help out against Swords Dance Arceus-Ground lacking Substitute, Mega Lucario, and Marshadow lacking Hidden Power Ice.
* Primal Kyogre has good offensive synergy with Arceus-Electric. Mixed attacker sets are able to deal with defensively oriented teams, break down Pokemon that commonly wall Arceus-Electric such as Blissey and Chansey, and provide a soft check to Primal Groudon if required. In return, Primal Kyogre appreciates Arceus-Electric's ability to deal with Pokemon that threaten Primal Kyogre such as Mega Salamence, Rayquaza, and Mega Lucario.
* Xerneas and Magearna are able to provide cleric support with Aromatherapy and Heal Bell, relieving Arceus-Electric of status. Choice Scarf Xerneas is a particularly good fit due to its ability to deal with offensive teams and also provide Defog support if necessary. In return, Arceus-Electric deals with Ho-Oh and Mega Lucario, which threaten both Magearna and Xerneas. Chansey and Blissey can also fill a similar role of a cleric and help out further against Geomancy Xerneas and Primal Kyogre.
* Mega Lucario is able to break common answers to Arceus-Electric such as Ferrothorn, Blissey, and Chansey, improving its team's matchup against defensive teams.
* Yveltal is able to deal with Mega Gengar, which could force a trade with Arceus-Electric by using Destiny Bond in conjunction with Taunt. Yveltal also deals with against Marshadow and provides a reliable Ground immunity to the team.
* Mega Salamence is immune to Ground, provides an answer to Primal Groudon and Arceus-Ground, and can be an additional sweeper with Dragon Dance.
* Though it provides no synergy with Arceus-Electric at all, Dugtrio is able to trap and OHKO Primal Groudon, letting Arceus-Electric's ability break the opposing team more easily.
[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
* Electrium Z is interesting to consider for a powerful one-time Gigavolt Havoc, but it uses up the Z-Crystal slot and means Arceus-Electric has to drop Judgment for Thunderbolt, so there is a noticeable power difference after Gigavolt Havoc is used. While utilizing Electrium Z, one can also opt for Thunder over Thunderbolt for increased damage output, but the loss of accuracy and lower PP can be a downside.
* Forgoing Recover for Earth Power and running maximum Special Attack investment instead of HP investment can be considered, though this severely limits Arceus-Electric's durability and makes it worse at checking its notable targets, makes switching in very difficult and, leaves Arceus-Electric without reliable recovery. Earth Power allows it to hit Primal Groudon for reasonable damage but doesn't do much else.
* Toxic can be used over Calm Mind, as Arceus-Electric invites common Ground-type answers such as Primal Groudon and Arceus-Ground that dislike being statused by Toxic, though this removes Arceus-Electric's ability to break through teams late-game.
Checks and Counters
===================
**Ground-types:** Ground-types are immune to Judgment, and Ice Beam is weak without boosts to do any notable damage to them. Primal Groudon is hit neutrally by Ice Beam, allowing it to use Arceus-Electric as fodder to get Stealth Rock up or use setup moves such as Rock Polish and Swords Dance. Swords Dance Arceus-Ground is able to set up and OHKO Arceus-Electric with Tectonic Rage, but defensive variants lacking Toxic are unable to deal with Arceus-Electric effectively, as it is able to set up Calm Minds and Arceus-Ground does insufficient damage with Judgment and becomes setup fodder. Lead Excadrill is comfortably able to get up Stealth Rock, as Ice Beam does not 2HKO and is still a roll with boosts. Excadrill is also able to get a Toxic off or simply use Earthquake, which nets a 2HKO on Arceus-Electric. Zygarde-C variants such as Dragon Dance are able to OHKO with Tectonic Rage or simply 2HKO with Thousand Arrows, though it has to be wary of Ice Beam if not behind a Substitute or if its Z-Crystal has been consumed.
**Blissey and Chansey**: Blissey and Chansey completely wall Arceus-Electric, taking pathetic damage from Judgment, removing boosts with Confide, and stalling it out with Toxic and Soft-Boiled.
**Ferrothorn**: Ferrothorn resists Judgment and takes little damage from Ice Beam, sets up Spikes, and annoys Arceus-Electric with Leech Seed.
**Magearna**: Magearna is able to take a Judgment easily and render Calm Mind boosts useless by taking Arceus-Electric's boosts with Heart Swap and forcing it out. Magearna is also able to heal off any damage dealt by using Pain Split.
.
**Necrozma-DM**: Necrozma-DM is able to use Arceus-Electric as setup fodder or 2HKO it with Earthquake, as Judgment fails to net a 2HKO on a healthy Necrozma-DM. Specially defensive variants are able to cripple Arceus-Electric with Toxic and use Morning Sun to heal any damage.
**Ultra Necrozma**: Ultra Necrozma is able 2HKO Arceus-Electric with Earthquake or set up on it with Swords Dance, but it has to be wary of Ice Beam if it's considerably weakened, as Ice Beam will score a 2HKO.
**Trappers**: Mega Gengar has access to Destiny Bond + Taunt, which allows it to force a trade with Arceus-Electric, but is unable to switch into a Judgment .Gothitelle is able to PP stall Arceus-Electric with the combination of Confide, Taunt, and Rest until it is forced to use Struggle.
