My first RMT of 2019 n_n! This has been one of my favorite teams as of late to play with and it performs well too. I typically build more offensive teams with Maero and shit but I decided to build a slower team with Icium Suicune as it seemed like a really "cool" lure and I love me a good gimmick. Big thanks to 'sei. for helping me with parts of the team building process. Hope you guys enjoy the team!

Icium Suicune is of course the star of the show. Whether it would be fast or bulky was mixed up a bit, but ultimately I went with a fatter Rest variant from the lovely Twilight . Luring Celebi, Amoonguss, and Mega Altaria would undoubtedly be useful in the current metagame. In general, the ability to hit Dragon-types harder has been really nice too.

Toxic Spikes Tentacruel was a pretty obvious partner. With Celebi and Amoonguss out of the way, Tentacruel could wreck havoc with its T-Spikes wearing down the opponent. Suicune next to a Tentacruel is nearly guarantees the opponent will assume its Vincune, if lack of leftovers hasn't been revealed. And, of course, gave me hazard removal right off the bat.

Suicune always appreciates a cleric, and I needed a Stealth Rock user. Ergo, everyone's least favorite blob Blissey came to be. Blissey's fatness meant I could less sporadic with Tentacruel and pivot in Blissey in against powerhouses like Specs Primarina instead.

Scarf Krookodile fit in naturally with its ability to fuck over Electric-types and Latias, which could really mess with Suicune-Tenta-Bliss. Krookodile is reliable speed control. Also, the Knock Off support made wearing down walls even easier.

With tech like Adrenaline Orb Latias about, Doublade is the other stop to the Eon twin's shenanigans. Doublade is the team's primary way of dealing with the monster that is Terrakion as well. With Swords Dance and Toxic Spikes support, Doublade becomes a potent win con.

Mega Altaria is literally my most used Pokemon so obviously you're gonna see it on this squad too. Altaria (kinda) provides a Ground-type immunity for the team, and can stay unevolved to pressure Choice Band Terrakion into not going for Earthquake. Flipped between 3 Attacks and Dragon Dance for awhile, but went with DD for a third win con. One with reliable recovery I might add.

Some Suicune heat. The Special Attack is to nab Amoonguss at +1 with Z-Move after Stealth Rocks. The small bit of Speed investment is to outspeed Crawdaunt and get a potential Rest off or go for Scald burn to keep Mega Altaria's health up. Especially when boosted, Suicune can eat multiple hits so Rest isn't completely useless without Sleep Talk. Rest alleviates pressure from opposing Toxic users and can come in handy for the rare pp stall. However, the free turns it can give the opponent after Ice Beam/no Sleep Talk has been revealed have to be accounted for through aggressive double switches at times. Don't underestimate Suicune's bulk, as it can eat a Giga Drain from Celebi and OHKO back when setting up on the switch and while Celebi Nasty Plots. Suicune can set up on weak Choice-locked attacks, most Water-types, etc.

Tentacruel has cool offensive sets that can be fun and all but for this team standard speedy Toxic Spikes worked best. Runs enough speed for the pesky Rotom-H and can Scald it before it can Defog or Volt Switch out. Tentacruel is the team's primary answer to Lucario, as Doublade can only sponge so many special attacks, even resisted. Though, a healthy Krookodile can revenge kill Lucario as well. Haze helps remedy the free turns for set up that come from sleeping Suicune and Blissey. Toxic Spikes in tandem with DD Mega Altaria breaks opposing Stall pretty well. It's often safer to let Doublade get off Toxic against Quagsire so Mega Altaria has an easier time beating it.

UU is easy man. Blissey walls so much shit it's ridiculous. Healing Wish was just chosen over Toxic for style points keeping momentum. When Suicune is phased out or saved seemingly without reason Blissey can fully revive it. I actually end up using Healing Wish on Doublade the most, usually for the matches against Terrakion. With three win con mons to choose from, it's never too late for a COMEBACK. Contemplated on using Psywave to fuck with Chandelure, Gengar, and not be a free switch for Doublade, but didn't want to give up Natural Cure.

As per usual, Scarf Krookodile compresses a ton into one slot-- Electric Immunity, Speed Control, and has good utility with Pursuit + Knock Off. Crunch was chosen over Fire Fang, Stone Edge, and Superpower due to how necessary dealing with Latias was for the team. The Water-types and Doublade were enough for Scizor, Doublade could threaten out any Togekiss that isn't Babiri, and Hydreigon can't do much against Blissey or Suicune unless its a Taunt variant, and even then Mega Altaria deals with it effortless once evolved. Crunch is also able to smack Z-Move Celebi harder in case Suicune hasn't been able to lure it in. Getting Doublade obliterated by Ghostium isn't great.

Toxic on Doublade is incredibly fun personally. Chesnaught, Moltres, and occasionally Hydreigon will switch in on Doublade and become put on a timer. With the lack of Toxic on Blissey, the ability to pressure floaty mons with poison still is sick. Taunt Hydreigon in particular is a beautiful victim, since it can Roost for free against Krookodile, Blissey, and pacified Suicune. Honestly I find Toxic on Doublade pretty underrated even if it gives more leeway for Steel-types to come in. Rest of the set is standard, Swords Dance for a more menacing offensive presence, Gyro Ball to hit harder than Iron Head a majority of the time, and Shadow Sneak to revenge kill or clean.

The up and coming Refresh Mega Altaria. Aside from its ability to sweep and set up on a fair amount of offensive mons, Altaria has solid utility. It can serve as a Knock Off absorber to not reveal Z-Move on Suicune early or get chipped. 248 EVs in HP coupled with 76 EVs in Def allow Altaria-Mega to never get 2HKO by Krookodile's Earthquake and Terrakion's Close Combat both after Stealth Rock damages. It also ensure Altaria-Mega to never get 2HKO by Latias's Psychic after Stealth Rocks damages. 176 EVs in Speed coupled with Jolly nature allow Altaria-Mega to outspeed Jolly Bisharp and ensure that Altaria-Mega will outspeed Choice Scarf Latias/Gengar after 2 Dragon Dance.

| No toxic on Blissey makes Slowbro very scary for the team to take on. Scouting what set it is is 100% necessary as guessing the wrong set can lead to a swift loss. Most of the time Toxic on Doublade can surprise Slowbro and allow it to get whittled down though. Rest variants are taken down through Mega Altaria.

158182
| Bisharp can be annoying as Mega Altaria can't OHKO it and Doublade lacks Sacred Sword. Bisharp also can get an SD up on Blissey or sleeping Suicune easily. However, a healthy Krookodile can finish it off with Earthquake, or go for Pursuit to chip it down for Mega Altaria even.

158178
| A well-played Terrakion can punch holes in the team but without Ground-type coverage Doublade is more than capable of dealing with it. Suicune and Mega Altaria can stomach hits and kill as well, but have to be careful when switching into Choice Band.
