Tera Type: Ghost

- Tera Blast
- U-turn
- Quick Attack

Dragapult has begun to launch its children at its problems in SV OU! While Dragapult unfortunately still lacks Poltergeist, the introduction of Terastallization + Tera Blast has given Dragapult a spammable physical Ghost-type STAB move, allowing physical sets, which has recently risen in usage, to finally slice through the metagame. U-turn eases predictions against cores like Clefable or Primarina + Ting-Lu, generates momentum, and prevents a free Kingambit switch in. Due to Dragapult's shallow physical movepool, Quick Attack is chosen to revenge kill weakened faster Pokemon like boosted Iron Valiant and Roaring Moon. Clear Body lets it ignore Landorus-T's Intimidate and Ribombee's Sticky Web. Offensive Pokemon like IronPress Zamazenta appreciates Dragapult breaking down physical walls to sweep more easily, while Hisuian Samurott softens defensive cores with Knock Off and Ceaseless Edge. Pivots like Iron Crown, Landorus-T, and Galarian Slowking can bring it into the field safely; moreover, they can switch into Pokemon like Iron Valiant, Kingambit, and Primarina, respectively, that forces Dragapult out. Iron Crown and Galarian Slowking's Future Sight also make Dragapult an even scarier wallbreaker.

Dragapult has begun to launch its children at its problems in SV OU! Dragon Darts is a terrifyingly strong STAB move that can 2HKO even Skeledirge, and Tera Blast Ghost can 2HKO even defensive Landorus-T. (dirge prob wont switch in cause of ghost stab & landot gets destroyed regardless by darts cause u ignore intim. in general, this sentence is pretty bland since it doesnt really sell the mon enough. i'd just talk about how access to gen 9's new mechanic in tera finally gives dragapult the reliable physical ghost move it needs [since pult was one of the few mons people were hyping up about when the mechanic first got revealed], letting it run a fully physical set with CB to also make use of its strong darts & uturns etc or however wording you see fit. spotlights in general can fit time references & fun tidbits like this, unlike analyses) U-turn deals heavy damage to Dark-types like Ting-Lu and Hisuian Samurott (darts is stronger into them. can include tinglu as the example later on instead) while easing eases predictions against teams that have switch-ins to both either of its STAB moves (such as?) and allows Dragapult to generate momentum. Due to Dragapults shallow physical movepool, Quick Attack is its fourth move of choice despite it not being very useful. (technically it's still one of the more useful moves it can get out of its movepool, otherwise it's not gonna be on the set) However, Quick Attack can to revenge kill weakened faster Pokemon like boosted Iron Valiant, Roaring Moon, and Deoxys-S. (if you want a priority for deoS pult can run sucker punch; would either remove or replace the example, up to you which) Clear Body is chosen over Infiltrator to ignore Landorus-T's Intimidate and Ribombee's Sticky Web, while Infiltrator is less important due to Dragon Darts being a strong multihit move to beat most substitute users anyways. Choice Band Dragapult fits on bulky offense teams alongside other pivots like Iron Crown, Landorus-T, and Galarian Slowking that can bring it into the field safely; moreover, they can provide switchins to Pokemon that Dragapult can let in due to being choice locked, Galarian Slowking and Iron Crown check Primarina and Iron Valiant while Landorus checks Kingambit. (puts the focus more on supporting pult offensively first) (since you want to elaborate more on teammates section then, i'd add another sentence about offensive partners; either ones that pult safely brings into its switchins, mons that appreciate pult wearing down shared checks, or both)
ping me once implemented and I'll GP + do another QC lookover. Might be way above 1k characters so will probably cut some wordiness or less relevant infos down later on, but should be fine

Dragapult has begun to launch its children at its problems in SV OU! While Dragapult unfortunately still lacks Poltergeist, the introduction of Terastallization + Tera Blast has given Dragapult a spammable physical Ghost-type STAB move, allowing physical sets, (ac) which has recently risen in usage, (ac) to finally slice through the metagame. Steel- and Fairy-types that could easily absorb its Dragon Darts. U-turn eases predictions against teams that have a switch-in to each of its STAB moves, such as against cores like Clefable or Primarina + Ting-Lu, and allows Dragapult to generates momentum, (ac) and prevents a free Kingambit switch in. while preventing Kingambit from switching and using Dragapult as setup fodder. Due to Dragapults Dragapult's shallow physical movepool, Quick Attack is chosen its fourth move of choice to revenge kill weakened faster Pokemon like boosted Iron Valiant and Roaring Moon. Clear Body is chosen over Infiltrator to lets it ignore Landorus-T's Intimidate and Ribombee's Sticky Web, (rc) while Infiltrator is less important due to Dragon Darts being a strong multihit move to beat most substitute users anyways. Choice Band Dragapult fits on bulky offense teams alongside other offensive pokemon and pivots. AOA and Offensive Pokemon like IronPress Zamazenta variants both appreciates Dragapult breaking down physical walls to sweep more easily, (ac) while Dragapult appreciates Zamazenta providing extra speed control and checking Kingambit, while IronPress Zamazenta can often sweep worn down teams. Hisuian Samurott helps break down softens (avoids repetition) defensive cores with Knock Off and Ceaseless Edge while preventing Kingambit from sweeping as long as its alive if its running Encore. Pivots like Iron Crown, Landorus-T, and Galarian Slowking that can bring it into the field safely; moreover, they can provide switchins to switch into Pokemon like Iron Valiant, Kingambit, and Primarina, respectively, that forces Dragapult out. can let in due to being choice locked, Galarian Slowking and Iron Crown check Primarina and Iron Valiant while Landorus-T check Kingambit. Iron Crown and Galarian Slowking's both also provide Future Sight to also make Dragapult an even scarier wallbreaker.
Cut a lot of more specific stuffs that can be left out for spotlight purposes; should be around ~1k now
