General Description:
Kyurem-Black has actually gotten worse in the generation shift. Sure, Defog gets rid of SR for it but now the only strong physical STAB it has (Outrage) has a bunch of immunities hanging around the metagame.

Two questions:

1. Maybe they'll allow Kyurem to change his Ice-type when he fuses/merges, like they did with Rotom from Generation V?

2. Don't Fusion Bolt and Freeze Shock count for anything? What if they buff his Glaciate and give him Reshiram's Blue Flare and Zekrom's Bolt Strike? They'll count, right?

At the end of BW it was pretty much agreed upon the fact Kyurem-B's best sets didn't involve spamming Outrage, but abusing its mixed attacking potential and that didn't change in this generation.
It can make good use of Iron Head too now so Xerneas and Arceus-Fairy will think twice before switching in. Also, since Steel doesn't resist Ghost anymore Shadow Claw is an option on its physical sets to round up its coverage (notably it lets Kyurem-B hit the steel/psychics without having to use Earth Power or HP Fire).

Anyways we still don't know whether Kyu-B got new tools or not so it's too early to decide. At least now it has a viable physical movepool that consists of more than 3 moves.
