Scald/Boiling Water

It says in the in-game research thread that hitting a frozen pokemon with Scald will defrost them immediately. My logs won't open but if you take my word for it what happened is my Rotom-W took a freeze from a Milotic's Ice Beam then took at least 5 Scalds before it thawed out.

Confirmed Boil Over ("Boiling Water") will thaw out the user if the user is frozen.

Read this sentence again

He knows that, his point was that Scald didn't thaw his rotom-w out immediately.

EDIT: oh my bad missed the part where it said the user will be thawed out -_-

You need to be the one to use Scald, not your opponent. Rotom-W doesn't learn Scald, so it's clear to me that this is where the confusion lies.
