Dear tennis fans,

As it's the Aztec New Year Fiona Ferro's birthday (a french tennis player that no one knows ^-^), I open this forum to discuss tennis (in general) and tennis results.

Some questions to start the discussion (feel free to answer all the questions or just a few!):

About me

I love tennis since I'm five (it's my favourite sport). Unfortunately I can't play tennis in my free time, but I play it sometimes during the summer holidays. I love to play doubles with my sister. My favourite players are Novak Djokovic, Fiona Ferro and Caroline Garcia, but I also really like Elena Rybakina and Alexander Bublik. I don't think I prefer a Grand Slam, but the fact I have more opportunities to watch Roland Garros and Wimbledon (because I'm GMT+1) is influencing my opinion. But I prefer hard courts so nevermind . And Novak is without a doubt the GOAT for me :).

I'll try to post every Monday the list of the winners of the past week and the list of the tournaments of the week.

I hope that we'll have interesting and enriching discussions :D!

Yeah, it’s the only sport I’ve stuck with for my entire life. Been playing for about 27 years now (I’m old as fuck)

--> What are your favourite players? Your favourite Grand Slam? Your favourite type of court?

Current Gen Alcaraz. Previous Gen Federer. Before that Nalbandian. Favorite slam is Wimbledon. Actually going this year which is exciting since I’ve never been. Favorite type of court would be hard court, but I’ve always wanted to be better on grass (need to learn how to slide properly still)

I most definitely play. I’m probably about a high 6 low 7 UTR. During the working year I play twice a week minimum, but during the summer I’m playing five times a week at least.

I’m a doubles specialist but I prefer singles because of the exercise.
