UU's Revenge (OU Warstory)

All of those OU Hot-Shots out there think everything's inferior to them... But now, UU is getting their revenge!

This does not start the match well. I decide to switch to Claydol to absorb the incoming Ice Beam. I have max SpDef invested so it can’t do too much to me.

Just as expected. I can probably hurt it pretty badly with Grass Knot, maybe a OHKO with a crit. It’ll probably take the next turn to set up rocks, anyway.

UU may not be as good as OU, but I sure have learned that they definitely stand a chance.

You beat an OU team with a UU team.

Great. This battle was still meh. There are a bunch of crits, a bunch more misses, and your opponent sacked two pokemon to Eggy for free.

A battle where a lower-tired team beats a higher-tiered team is not automatically good.

Okay, I'll be blunt, it was a meh warstory, props to you for using UU Poke's. The format was okay, you don't need to include the Sandstorm damage & Leftovers recovery. The commentary was a bit shallow, but good enough. 3/5

When I was going to comment on this, my first two words were going to be "meh warstory" as well. The format was good though and it made it very easy to read. The only trouble was that the battle was average, and he had some gaping holes in his team (looking at you, exeggutor).

Meh warstory, comments aren't great, and neither was the battle. Gliscor had taunt but didnt Taunt exeggutor? And Kabutops only x2 resists ice.

I never rate warstories, but I do point out errors.

Kabutops 2x resists Ice Beam, not 4x resists.
--------------------
@Darkamber,

He lost to an OU team with a UU team, not vice versa. (that sounded harsher than I intended, srry)

How do you not Spin when you predicted your opponent was going to switch Swampert out? You would have removed rocks (ALTARIA PROCEEDS TO LOVE YOU FOREVER) and then could have switched in the best counter to whatever your opponent sent out, instead of blindly switching in Houndoom and hoping it would be good against whatever your opponent sent in.

However, your opponent not using Taunt on Exeggutor to stop Sun from going up the second time was even more face-palmish. >_<

And Kabutops only 2x resists ice, not 4x. Rock is super-effective against ice, but doesn't resist it.

Props on using a UU team in OU though, that's pretty boss, and you definitely had the chance to win if you don't make the Rapid Spin mistake in the beginning.

Format was decent too, sooo.. 6/10. Good luck on future stories. =)

This wasn't a good battle. I don't mean to sound harsh, but it wouldn't have mattered if you had won with a UU team; your opponent was too poor of a player for the victory to mean anything. UU Pokemon can be great in OU, but there wasn't any competitive playing going on in this warstory, just some hax and bad choices. It was a decent first try, however, so good luck in the future.

using uu in ou just for the heck of it doesn't show skill. it shows that you're using inferior pokemon to boost your ego.

5/10

have to pretty much agree, really meh battle.

your opponent played like garbage.

You can beat an OU team with an NU for all I care, you still have to play well for anyone to care.

Nitpick: When you switch to Altaria and Scizor U-Turns to Starmie, there's a sprite of Scizor with commentary underneath about Ice Beaming. Change that Scizor to a Starmie, please.
The battle wasn't too great, but I liked the format.
