As for the first chatter, its mostly so you open the menu just like you eventually will when you know how many chatters to do. So mainly for consistency.
You could just open the menu and not chatter, should work the same

So, just try to do 15 chatters. If not 16. So on.

I mainly do the "wild-pokémon-iv-checking" to make sure I hit my seed correctly. Not totally necessary but great when you're me and your hitting two Timer0s equally.

Going back to hatching, once you have identified which egg you got, now you can go back and redo everything again, but this time with the correct number of chatters. The number will be difference between your target frame and your initial frame plus one (because we heard chatter once while calibrating)

Regarding your questions, going into the cave won't distort IVRNG so its fine as long as you don't walk too much, which is why I recommend Sweet Scent.

Cool, so just hit the seed, do 0 chatter and take the egg.
See the nature etc.
If there is on;y one of that nature near Frame 45, that is your SSF.
If not, do with 1 chatter and see which two are in a row.

Now, open your favorite iv calculator and input the ivs of the pokémon you just captured. Open Egg Seed Searcher on PPRNG now and input the information of the pokémon you just found. Remember to change the date to match the date you're on and the keypresses. As for the IV Frame, remember to set it between "14" and "20." I don't really know exactly why, but the IVRNG advances anywhere between 6 and 12 when you pick your egg, its random. I usually carry the same 4 pokémon team when RNGing and I always get different iv frames. So, search and you'll eventually find one result where the date matches. Check Timer0 to see if its correct and you actually hit your original seed. If not, go back to the beginning. If you did hit your seed, go and hatch your egg now.

Once your egg hatches, check the egg results under the Eggs tab in Standard Seed Inspector. Your egg must match with one of the eggs between ~40 to ~65.

Okay, I see. It works similarly with the eggs, but not quite. First of all, you'll have to calibrate to know where you are. This is what I do. First of all, start the game on my target date/time and attempt to hit my seed pressing keys if necessary. By now you found out how to use Egg Seed Searcher, right? Also, you should've saved right infront of daycare man. Anyways, so, once to continue and begin the game with c-gear off, you need to be as quick as possible. Press X as quickly as possible and hear a chatot's chatter once only. Now, again, as quickly as possible, get out of the menu and press A to accept the egg from daycare man. Now, fly to anywhere with pokémon with high levels, I usually fly to Victory Road, and then capture the first pokémon you find. I usually Sweet Scent. It is important you capture the first pokémon because that's the one that counts.

Good. One question though, how did you manage to RNG your first pokémon? Did you only hit your seed and went for the ivs rather than anything else?
