Torqan Yes, all Pokemon native to gen 7 (
) will have identical ribbons between the nicknamed and non-nicknamed versions. However, Pokemon from any older generation will only carry the full set on the nicknamed version (unless the Pokemon isn't available to nickname, such as with most of my Sunday Giveaways).

Answer: I love the 3rd generation starters. Maybe because it was the first gen i played, but mudkip was adorable, torchic became blaziken, and treeko becomes sceptile, who just looks so cool.

As for best starters... I'll have to go with Gen 3 - it's the only Gen where I think all starters are cool. Closely followed by Gen 1 and Gen 7!
