Name: Arceus-Ground
Type: Ground
Ability: Multitype
Base Stats: 120/120/120/120/120/120
Level-Up Movepool
Stats and Movepool Unconfirmed

General Description:
Arceus-Ground has gotten a lot better this generation, mainly due to the rise of Zekrom as a powerful player in the XY metagame. However, Lugia has also risen in usage due to the ubiquity of Defog, thus harming Arceus-Ground's Swords Dance set. Arceus-Ground can run an effective Swords Dance set capable of getting past Aegislash and threatening Arceus-Rock with a powerful Earthquake. It can also run a support set, though it typically doesn't have room for Defog.

Some sets:

Arceus-Ground@Earth Plate
Trait: Multitype
252 spe/252 attck/4 hp
Jolly Nature
-Swords Dance
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-Recover/Extreme Speed/Dragon Claw

Arceus-Ground is a SD sweeper that can claim to break past Aegislash no matter how many shenanigans Aegislash tries to pull. With it's excellent typing and bulk (remember, it shares the same typing as Groudon), it can find multiple opportunities to set up. Jolly is needed to at least speed tie with other Arceus Formes. Extreme Speed has some uses, but with the decline of Scarfers, Arceus-Ground typically will not need it. Dragon Claw can be used to hit Giratina-Origin harder than any other move, but Gen 6 was not kind to Giratina-Origin either.

Arceus-Ground@Earth Plate
Trait: Multitype
252 hp/252 speed/4 attck
Jolly Nature
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-Recover
-Will-o-Wisp

Sadly, Arceus-Ground cannot fit Defog into it's moveset. With just 252 hp evs, Arceus becomes incredibly bulky, capable of living Lustrous Orb Palkia's Hydro Pump from full hp. Earthquake is the generic STAB move and helps with chip damage. Stone Edge is for Ho-oh, who otherwise will not care at all about this Arceus-Ground set. Will-o-Wisp is the standard "cripple x physical attacker" move, further increasing Arceus-Ground's bulk. Recover is for longevity. This is possibly one of the most annoying sets ever, but it does mean you lose out on Arceus-Rock, so packing something like Mega Tyrantitar to check Ho-oh is advised. This set is a better check to Scizor, Groudon, and Zekrom.

So yeah, that's Arceus-Ground. Feel free to post your own sets, and I will add them to the OP provided they aren't shit.

I loved Groundceus in gen5, and it's still a great anti-meta pokemon for gen6!

Support groundceus is a check/counter for almost all physical threats in the metagame, and it can check rockceus too! The decline of Ferrothorn is excellent for Groundceus. However, you still have to avoid Water/Grass types, but Earthquake and Groundceus' excellent 120 speed allows it to pick off the weakened threats easily. But, yeah, Groundceus' niche to pretty much neuter Zekrom is HUGE plus. Just remember that Groundceus dislikes status, so make sure that you provide it with appropriate cleric or status immunity.

Mono-Ground is really not as good of a typing as you make it out to be, because while Rock and Electric resists are kinda cool, Water, Ice, and Grass are far more common weaknesses. The SD set will be Arceus-Ground's niche imo, as it can wallbreak pretty well. That set definitely will have huge competition from a double dancing Groudon who can Rock Polish, have better physical stats, no Water weakness, and doesn't take up your Arceus slot. His advantages here will be recovery and more initial Speed and Special bulk.

Support Arceus is nice and all but I'm not seeing the advantages this form brings, especially when you're forced to run two attacking moves.

If you're using an EV spread of 4HP / 252Atk / 252Spe I think ExtremeSpeed is better over Recover since Recover works better with HP investment.

An alternate spread of 252HP / 4Atk / 252Spe Jolly could also work.
