Tournament Rules:
  • General tournament rules and regulations can be found here.
  • The banlist for this tournament is the same as the US/UM BH ladder on the Smogon University server of Pokemon Showdown (link)
  • Bo3, Double Elimination
  • Metagame changes during the middle of a round will take effect in the subsequent round
  • Battles must take place on Pokemon Showdown!.
  • Winner can get a custom role in the BH Discord and bragging rights*!
Posting Etiquette:
  • Activity: Post in this thread with proof of contact or discussion either via screenshot or links to the posts
  • Concession: If your opponent gives you the win, post here saying so, again with screenshot or links to proof
  • Extensions: Post an official request for an extension here with proof as mentioned above of attempts to schedule, and confirmation that both sides accepted an extension
  • Replays: Replays are required but not necessary to have made public. Just make sure you get them to me somehow (you can pm me or edit them out of your post). However, I would appreciate if some replays are public to show off high-level play and may request permission to show some interesting matches during each round. Get replays of all matches in a 3-match series.

too lazy to do predicts so I'll list some games to watch:
If ScarfWynaut wins r1 then him vs Funbot28 should be good
aki0s vs pazza as long as pazza gets some teams somwhere
whoever wins vs Silver_Lucario42 (the tag doesn't look like it worked in the OP) sl is a good BHer and always has interesting squads, shame he got coinflipped imo

ScarfWynaut vs Anish - Plays BH and is definitely gonna bring Wishkiller.
Mark_K vs Hijasu - Man's marked for a victory with his decent squads and playing.
byronthewellwell vs Jrdn - Has good teams and is an overall good player. Don't know much about the other guy.

Round 2 Winners
Whitephoenixace vs. MMagma - He used to play this tier or something, bring Ghost resists this time.
Hassin627 vs. vsomani - Isn't a bad player at all, he's impressed me w/ his runs in OMGS and stuff.
pazza vs. aki0s - About a 50/50 between the two.
ScarfWynaut vs. Funbot28 - play a smash bo3 instead, hl match of the round
Mark_K vs. cielbakasan - I don't know the other person
Quantum Tesseract vs. Jrdn - Who's gonna root against an MRay...?
moemoemudkip vs. Cofaiclus - Don't know either

Round 2 Unwinners
pqs vs. Twinmask - pqs is gonna bring 12 p2s and win
bdov vs. Willdbeast - Wild is in his name. Well, close enough.
byronthewellwell vs. Silver_Lucario42 - Either SL42 is gonna 12-0 or he's gonna lose in 2 and take away him needing to get better net.
Fardin vs. zugubu royale - Shouldn't have dropped out bro D:
Go0d vs. Anish - Unsure who's the better player but should be ok to watch.

Calling act, made an extreme effort to be able to make it to 3 am on a Monday because apparently that was the only possible time he could play and opponent wasnt online, I couldn't wait any longer.

Just wanted to ask for an extension for me and my opponents match to Monday. they seem to be very busy at the moment and though we schedule for today an issue came up that prevented them from coming on. THey did however say they would be completely able to do battle on Monday (the day I would like an extension to). You can even see the conversation on MMagma profile to see our agreement of the set date.

I am on for a few minutes here and there. It is not long enough to play 2-3 games. Also, you told me you couldn't play in Monday and never said no to Tuesday. I just came on at the time we decided. You came on at a time you said no to and then try to call act win for me not showig up to a time you said you couldn't make.

Did a coinflip on this and updated op, since it's double elim you both should still be in the tour anyway. Mark_K you will face cielbakasan in the main bracket and Hijasu gets a bye in the second bracket.

Coinflipped this, i saw that you decided on your wall to extend (which you should've posted here but w/e) and didn't hear back.

Overall to all players, I'm thinking of moving the deadline forward for this round since it seems there's difficulties in scheduling this round but try to play your matches as soon as you are available to.

Think I'll request activity. Made an effort to get our matches done and only managed to get a single response, which didn't even specify any date.
