Can't get on the server?

I go to Pokemon Online, I connect to Smogon's server, and they ask me for my password. I enter in my Smogon account password, and it displays the following message:

Error while connected to server -- Received error n°1: The remote host closed the connection
Disconnected from Server!

I have a strong connection as well.

What am I doing wrong? And if I'm not, what is wrong?

What is your user name?

EDIT: In retrospect, it sounds to me like someone else has registered whatever account you're trying to log onto the server with. If this account is your forum username, I can reset the password so that you can get it. If it's not your forum username, you will need to pick a different account name to access the server.

No, theoretically the server and forum passwords can be two totally different things. If you've registered the name, then you should know the password. If you've forgotten the password, then you will need to have your password reset. I can only reset your password for you if your server user name is the same as your forum user name. If it's not, you'll need to make a new server user name.
