Obviously I can't vote for my own, so I guess I'll run down each submission:
  • Wacan Berry Celesteela sounds like a fun gimmick, but my biggest issue is that it is very much a lure set--which means it will likely be suboptimal to explicitly build around, so to speak, as opposed to a means of patching up a shaky matchup. Also defensive Celesteela is a glue: not a team foundation.
  • As much as I love Mamoswine, I've never really thought it as the type of Pokemon that you explicitly build around as a sole starting point, with it only being explicitly built around when it is either part of a concept such as double/triple ground offense or a as part of a core.
  • QD Phero is flames and extremely good and I LOVE it oml.
  • SwagPlay Klef is hot arse and heavily limits the directions in which the team could go.
  • Autotomise Celesteela is a solid wincon. Flamethrower stinks tho 'cause the accuracy does not offset the power drop (that and single turn output is more important on a wincon)
  • Love Volcarona
  • SpecsGar is a cool wallbreaker that could be fun to build with.
  • Normalium Z Keldeo is a lure. Don't build with a lure as the starting point.
  • Defensive Zard X could be fun. I think DD is probably easier to use as a starting point tho.
  • Alolan Muk is a glue: not a centrepiece.
  • Mence is another solid sweeper and a good centrepiece. Pretty much forces us down the Mence+Mag route tho.
  • Mega Metagross will probably work its way onto the team anyway unless we use a different mega hahaha. (Srs this thing's busted.) That said, I'm not big on Agiligross in general.
  • I've literally never used Kartana so I'm fairly down for building with that.
  • I don't like non-Ghostium Mimikyu personally.
  • Lando-T is on literally every team ever.
I'm going to vote for Specs Gengar 'cause that sounds the most fun out of anything here.

Hello, voting is now over and here were the results!
specs gengar 4
normalium z keld 7
zygarde 1
autotomize celesteela 3
qd phero 2
zygarde 4

As you can see OverlordDerp's Normalium Z Keldeo won by a pretty large margin. Now is the time to post partners, tagging pizzq to update title. Also please don't post anything that's unviable, at least higher than C+ or it will most likely be ignored, unless it compliments Keldeo very well. Here is the set one last time.
Keldeo @ Normalium Z
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Scald
- Secret Sword
- Hyper Beam

Happy voting!

Metagross-Mega @ Metagrossite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Pursuit
- Meteor Mash
- Ice Punch
- Hammer Arm

keldeo baits in a lot of things such as tapu lele, latis, and metagross can easily switch-in and fire off powerful attacks. keldeo will not be able to effectively sweep (with this set) due to a lot of teams having tapu fini, bulu and landorus, etc. metagross being able to weaken or even remove one of them puts less of a challenge on keldeo's hands since it obviously can't use z-hyper beam on everything. also can help keldeo when it is scared out by pinsir, grasses, etc. set is actually bad so someone change it if needed to better suit our team :)

Lures are arse as starting points but fuck it.

Tyranitar @ Choice Band
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Ice Punch

Tar+Keld is a core from ORAS which basically pulled the entire tier apart. Tar checks problematic Pokemon for Keld such as the Lati twins and clears the way for Keldeo to just generally tear stuff apart. This core is super duper fun in general, although I still think that the Keld set is p. crap tbh. EVs can be fucked around with to give Tar more bulk if necessary.

plenty of experience with this Keld set.

Zygarde @ Leftovers
Ability: Aura Break
EVs: 248 HP / 124 SpD / 136 Spe
Careful Nature
- Thousand Arrows
- Substitute
- Coil
- Toxic

Since Keldeo lures in things like Fini / Tang / Bulu (all counter Zygarde) we should use something that's takes advantage of that such as Zygarde.
This duo also eases the match up with stall tremendously as you'll find plenty of set up oppurturintes with them having to worry about CM Keld and Sub Zygarde. Although I would have preferred it to be sub cm so we actual beat Toxapex but alas.
Keldeo also beat all Lando sets 1v1 giving Zygarde a much easier time in setting up.

BaSr gave me the EV spread but I'm sure Martin will critique it. Giga Drain from Mega Venusaur never breaks sub. (max spatk modest needs a roll to break.) Letting you get a coil. I think you outspeed the regular Sub Coil spread but don't take my word for it.

0 SpA Venusaur Giga Drain vs. 248 HP / 124+ SpD Zygarde: 67-81 (15.9 - 19.3%) -- possible 6HKO

252+ SpA Venusaur Giga Drain vs. 248 HP / 124+ SpD Zygarde: 94-112 (22.4 - 26.7%) -- 31% chance to 4HKO

MPL Champion

Greninja-Ash @ Choice Specs
Ability: Battle Bond
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Dark Pulse
- U-turn
- Water Shuriken

Since we're building around a lure for some reason, I figured Specs Ash-Gren would make for a great partner forming a Water Spam core. Keldeo lures pmuch everything that stops this thing from getting its form change. Once you get rid of the bulky Grass/Water from your opp all this needs is a free kill to get its transformation and become unstoppable.

Magearna @ Assault Vest
Ability: Soul-Heart
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD
Modest Nature
- Fleur Cannon
- Flash Cannon
- Volt Switch
- Aura Sphere

Since Keldeo's biggest problem is Faster Psychic types like Tapu Lele Scarf, Latios or MegaZam, both can deal a lot even with boosted SpD, Magearna AV seems to be a good Pokémon to help Keldeo, since they can't really beat it, it's also helpful against Koko. It can also give a slow Volt Switch to make Keldeo switch in keeping momentum.

Against Lele
252 SpA Tapu Lele Hidden Power Fire vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Assault Vest Magearna: 78-94 (21.4 - 25.8%) -- 62.2% chance to 4HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ SpA Magearna Flash Cannon vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Tapu Lele: 254-302 (90.3 - 107.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

Against Koko
252 SpA Life Orb Tapu Koko Thunderbolt vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Assault Vest Magearna in Electric Terrain: 138-164 (38 - 45.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ SpA Magearna Fleur Cannon vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Tapu Koko: 297-349 (105.6 - 124.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Against Latios
252 SpA Life Orb Latios Hidden Power Fire vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Assault Vest Magearna: 101-122 (27.8 - 33.6%) -- 33.3% chance to 3HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ SpA Magearna Fleur Cannon vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Latios: 428-506 (143.1 - 169.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Against Zam-Mega
252 SpA Alakazam-Mega Focus Blast vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Assault Vest Magearna: 96-114 (26.4 - 31.4%) -- 0% chance to 3HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ SpA Magearna Fleur Cannon vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Alakazam-Mega: 223-264 (88.8 - 105.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

Pheromosa @ Choice Specs
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Bug Buzz
- Focus Blast
- Ice Beam
- U-Turn

Keldeo and Pheromosa share many similar checks/counters (Mega Venu, Toxapex, Fini, Mantine, etc) and Specs Mosa can basically finish the sweep once they're gone. Thanks to Keldeo, it can afford to run U-Turn over Hidden Power to allow for momentum gaining, which we can look into with later partners. Keldeo also eliminates Marowak which Pheromosa appreciates.

Celesteela is Life
006-mega-x.gif

Charizard @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Flare Blitz
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake

Mega Zard X pairs really well with this Keldeo set because Z-Hyper Beam can fuck up a lot of Zard's switchins, mainly Tapu Fini, and Keldeo helps with the Ground-types that Zard is checked by, such as Landorus-T. In turn, Zard X can set up on the Grass-types that Keldeo is threatened by while also being a very soft check to Tapu Koko, although it's definitely better that we pack a good check to that thing.

EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Hyperspace Fury
- Zen Headbutt
- Gunk Shot
- Drain Punch

Hoopa Unbound is normally known for its special wallbreaking power, yet one of my personal favorite sets is choice band. Dark/Psychic/Poison/Fighting coverage is able to hit a large number of potential switchins. Also, (although with z moves it's less special this generation) hyperspace fury ignores protect, breaking straight through any walls trying to wish/protect in front of it.
