Cresselia is a great defensive sweeper thanks to its tremendous bulk and solid defensive typing, which allow it to easily set up Calm Mind. Psyshock lets Cresselia threaten Pheromosa, Nihilego, Naganadel, and Galarian Zapdos. Moonlight provides Cresselia with recovery, allowing it to outlast foes such as Indeedee, Volcanion, and Tapu Lele. Ice Beam hits Zygarde, Landorus, Rillaboom, and Landorus-T. Icy Wind is a weaker alternative that provides speed control. Trick Room allows Cresselia and its teammates to move before faster foes. Helping Hand allows damaging partners like Diancie and Volcanion to OHKO Galarian Moltres and Assault Vest Rillaboom. Protect is an effective answer to Fake Out, allowing Cresselia to safely set Trick Room on turn 2. The Special Defense EVs ensure Cresselia survives a +1 Bug Buzz from Life Orb Genesect, while the Defense investment allows it to deal with physical attackers like Rillaboom better. Using a Calm nature is optimal for sets without Trick Room, while sets opting for Trick Room should use a Sassy nature to ensure Cresselia is as slow as possible.

Cresselia is found on slow, bulky teams that appreciate Trick Room's or Icy Wind's speed control and Cresselia's ability to outlast foes. Fire-types such as Incineroar, Heatran, and Volcanion are great partners, since they deal with the Steel-types that Cresselia struggles against such as Genesect and Metagross. Volcanion in particular also defeats Incineroar. In return, Cresselia can deal with Landorus, Landorus-T, and Zygarde with Ice Beam or Icy Wind. Rock-types such as Diancie and Rhyperior also make fantastic partners, as they can defeat Incineroar and Galarian Moltres. In return, Cresselia can threaten Zygarde, Landorus, and Landorus-T with Ice Beam.

Cresselia can hold Colbur Berry or Tanga Berry to reduce damage taken from Pokemon such as Incineroar, Pheromosa, and Genesect, but Sitrus Berry's instant healing is better in most matchups. Mental Herb can be used to bypass Pokemon that try to Taunt or Encore Cresselia such as Sableye and Victini.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Steel-types**: Cresselia is unable to damage Steel-types. Genesect can 2HKO it, and Celesteela can easily stall it with Leech Seed. Metagross and Heatran do much more damage to Cresselia then it can do back. Metagross is also unaffected by Cresselia's Calm Mind.

**Dark-types**: Incineroar and Tyranitar take very little or no damage from Cresselia's attacks and can threaten back with powerful Dark-type moves.

**Taunt and Encore**: Cresselia can be Taunted by Victini and Galarian Zapdos, preventing Calm Mind or Moonlight, while Sableye can use Encore against Cresselia. Both scenarios limit the longevity of Cresselia and make it considerably less useful in a battle. Mental Herb can help patch this weakness, though.

Cresselia is one of the most reliable trick room rn isn't really reliable itself a great Trick Room setters in 2v2 thanks to its tremendous bulk and solid defensive typing which allows it to..?. Trick Room allows Cresselia and its teammates to outspeed otherwise faster opponents and gain an advantage in battle.information is correct but reword it, odd phrasing Psyshock gives lets Cresselia an offensive presence and cresselia isn't offensive, it just hits these supereffectively and otherwise is underwhelming threatens Pheromosa, Nihilego, Naganadel, and Zapdos-Galar. Ice Beam is a coverage option that cripples hits cripple is a status term really Zygarde, both Landorus forms, Landorus, and Landorus-T, AC and does more while damaging to Rillaboom. Moonlight provides Cresselia with recovery, allowing it to survive longer and possibly stall out the opponent. You don't wanna stall out your own TR turns really so keep it to just the recovery part. Helping Hand is a support option that allows Cresselia to increase the damage a partner such as? Pokemon deals any examples of where the extra damage matters? , which is useful in battles where Cresselia offers little offensively. fluff Protect punishes opponents that focus on KOing Cresselia and is an effective answer to Fake Out. The Special Defense EVs ensure Cresselia can live a +1 Bug Buzz from Life Orb Genesect while also maximizing its physical bulk. rewrite physdef invest separately as it sounds like having psdef maximises physical bulk somehow

Cresselia is found on slow teams that rely on Trick Room to outspeed their opponent. Fire-types such as Incineroar, Heatran, and Volcanion are great partners for Cresselia, being able to deal with the Steel-types that Cresselia struggles against such as Genesect and Metagross, and benefit greatly from Trick Room. Volcanion in particular can also beat Incineroar which is a very prominent threat that counters Cresselia well. In turn, Cresselia can deal with Nihilego, both Landorus Forms Landorus, Landorus-T, and Zygarde with Ice Beam for its Fire-type partner. Ground-types such as Landorus-Therian and Zygarde are also great partners for Cresselia, being able to beat Steel-types such as Metagross and Heatran, as well as Fire types like Victini and Incineroar that wall Cresselia. what does cress do in return as these are now non-tr examples Cresselia It can cripple threaten Pokemon such as Pheromosa and Naganadel that could otherwise be troublesome for these Ground-types. Both of these Pokemon also appreciate Trick Room as they are relatively slow. I wouldn't say Zygarde and Lando belong on TR, if so its niche and too specific for an analysis
-Mention Diancie for dealing with Incineroar and Galarian Moltres as its a great TR threat. Then say what cress does for this

Cresselia can hold Colbur Berry or Tanga Berry to reduce damage taken from super effective moves from which Pokemon?, however Sitrus Berry's instant healing is more helpful in most matchups. Checks and Counters
===================

**Steel Types**: Cresselia is unable to meaningfully damage any Steel-type, in the meta and slowly loses as a result. as Genesect is can able to do massive damage to 2HKO it Cresselia and easily 2HKO it. Now mention other Steel-type examples such as Leech Seed Celesteela and Metagross

**Fire Types**: Incineroar, Victini, and Heatran all shake off Cresselia's attacks and can beat Cresselia without problem. correct but watch the wording

**Taunt and Encore**: Cresselia lacking Mental Herb can be Taunted to prevent Trick Room or Encored into Trick Room. Both scenarios limit the effect of trick room and make Cresselia considerably less useful in a battle.

Few tips when writing! It should be [Type]-type such as Fire-type. Pokemon should be capitalised, and moves should be to. Nothing stands out as missing immediately. Also to implement this check, click REPLY and then remove the things said to remove, and then change the font and colour to make the process easier and quicker so you do not miss anything out!

Heya, QC 2 here, sorry about the delay!

This is a good start, especially for a first analysis! I am going to need an extra look when this is implemented - new meta developments have shown Cresselia can more than just a Trick Room setter, and this should be tweaked to reflect that. I understand this is a dense check and you're a bit busy, so dw too much about taking your time! If you have any questions, DM me and I'll respond as quickly as possible.

Cresselia is a great Trick Room setter defensive win condition thanks to its tremendous bulk and solid defensive typing, which allows it to safely set up Trick Room in most matches with Calm Mind. Trick Room allows Cresselia and its teammates to move before faster opponents move this to be after the Ice moves, since this follows the set order. Psyshock lets Cresselia threaten Pheromosa, Nihilego, Naganadel, and Galarian Zapdos. Moonlight provides Cresselia with recovery, allowing it to outlast opponents add examples as you see fit. Ice Beam is a coverage option that hits Zygarde, Landorus, and Landorus-T, while damaging Rillaboom add a mention of Icy Wind here - it does less damage but it also provides Speed control. Helping Hand supports the damageing partners like Diancie and Volcanion deal, as Diancie's Diamond Storm OHKOs Galarian Moltres after Helping Hand and Life Orb Volcanion OHKOs Assault Vest Rillaboom with Heat Wave after Helping Hand. Protect is an effective answer to Fake Out. The Special Defense EVs ensure Cresselia can live a boosted Bug Buzz from Life Orb Genesect, while the Defense investment allows it to deal with physical attackers like Rillaboom better. mention the natures here

Cresselia is found on slow teams that rely on Trick Room to outspeed their opponent this is one use, but not the main one. It's usually on bulky teams that aim to sponge damage before firing back. Fire-types such as Incineroar, Heatran, and Volcanion are great partners for Cresselia, being able to deal with the Steel-types that Cresselia struggles against such as Genesect and Metagross. Volcanion in particular can also beat Incineroar. In return, Cresselia can deal with Landorus, Landorus-T, and Zygarde with Ice Beam or Icy Wind. Rock types such as Diancie and Rhyperior also make fantastic partners as they can beat Incineroar, Galarian Moltres, and Weavile Weavile is not that relevant imo for Cresselia. In return, Cresselia can threaten Zygarde, Landorus, and Landorus-T with Ice Beam.

It's mostly that their secondary Dark / Psychic / Steel typings. Adding a section about Dark-types with Incin / TTar, and moving Heatran to the Steel-type section would make more sense imo

**Taunt and Encore**: Cresselia lacking Mental Herb can be Taunted to prevent Trick Room or Encored into Trick Room. Both scenarios limit the effect of Trick Room and make Cresselia considerably less useful in a battle. What Pokemon use these moves? You mentioned Sableye and Victini for Encore earlier, maybe add Cottonee and some Taunt users.
