Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Congratulations to Ezaphs for winning Celesteela, me on winning Pheromosa and Exploudit for winning Buzzwole and Kartana!
Flower Power!
Sunflora will have an ability cap of 4.5 while Roserade and Florges will have a cap of 3.5 (4 is acceptable on a case-by-case basis: just don't make it broken).
Florges-Mega
Stat Distribution: 78 Hp (+0)/65 Atk (+0)/110 Def (+48)/130 SpA (+18)/174 SpD (+20)/89 Spe (+14) New Typing : Fairy/Grass New Ability: Garden Guardian (Volt Absorb clone: This Pokemon is inmune to Poison-Type Attacks and heals 25 % of its life when a Poison-Type attack hits it) New Movepool Aditions: Earth Power Description: Great mixed tank with lots of useful resistances, but its shitty Hp actually hinders it. The addition of grass typing is obvious.
Sunflora-Mega
New Typing : Grass/Fire New Ability: Simple Stat distribution : 75 Hp (+0)/45 Atk (-30)/80 Def (+25)/165 SpA (+60)/120 SpD (+15)/60 Spe (+30) New movepool aditions: Calm Mind, Heat Wave Description: Just see its derpy face, it obviously needed simple. The adition of fire Typing is obvious too. Thanks to the combination of CM and Simple makes Mega-Sunflora a great bulky attacker.
Roserade-Mega
New Typing: Grass/Poison (da same) New Ability: Frenzy Toxins (Tinted lens + Acidic Poison clone: Doubles damage on resisted hits. Can hit Steel-types with Poison-type moves.) Stat Distribution: 60 Hp (+0)/70 Atk (+0)/90 Def (+25)/155 SpA (+30)/120 SpD (+15)/120 Spe (+30) New Movepool Aditions: Nasty Plot Description: Coverage options? This thing doesn't need that, just click Nasty Plot, then sweep :)
Yay, i'm the first to post at this slate: Florges-Mega
Stat Distribution: 78 Hp (+0)/65 Atk (+0)/110 Def (+48)/130 SpA (+18)/174 SpD (+20)/89 Spe (+14) New Typing : Fairy/Grass New Ability: Garden Guardian (Volt Absorb clone: This Pokemon is inmune to Poison-Type Attacks and heals 33 % of its life when a Poison-Type attack hits it ) Description: Great mixed tank with lots of useful resistances, but its shitty Hp actually hinders it. The addition of grass typing is obvious.
Stats: 60/100 (+30) /75 (+10)/140 (+15)/130 (+25)/110 (+20) Ability: Own Tempo New Moves: Thrash, Outrage Description: Mega Roserade spins endlessly on one leg like a ballerina, yet never seems to get dizzy. This allows it to fire off super strong attacks without the worry of confusion. However, it feels very ill after reverting back to its regular form. Competitively: Both Physical and Special would be viable as Physical has reliable setup, and Special has a new super strong STAB in Petal Dance. Probably UU/OU.
Mega!
Stats: 78/65/88 (+20)/122 (+10)/224 (+70)/75 Ability: Triage New Moves: Floral Healing, Rototiller Description: Mega Florges wears a Comfey around its neck, thereby granting it Comfey's powers. This gain of power amplifies Florges' special resilience to ridiculous levels. Competitively: Ridiculously bulky in terms of Special hits, but not very difficult to take down on the Physical side due to its very poor Defense and poor defensive typing. The most common set in Single battles would likely consist of Physically Defensive Calm Mind + Synthesis + Aromatherapy + Giga Drain or some variation thereof. I feel that this Mega would be better suited to Double battles with the ability to support its allies, especially those that are Grass type. Most likely UU due to its similarities to Mega Slowbro, although it would definitely be viable wherever you use it.
Mega!
Stats: 75/75/80 (+25)/165 (+60)/120 (+15)/30 Ability: Drought New Moves: Weather Ball, Heat Wave Reasons: Mega Evolution causes chemical fusion to occur within Sunflora, converting its head into a literal star. Luckily Sunflora is able to keep it confined to a small space, but if it lost focus for even a second then chaos would surely ensue. Competitively: Probably the top sun setter below Ubers. It is almost identical in bulk to Mega Charizard Y, but is nowhere near as concerned about Stealth Rocks. It has a perfectly accurate 100BP Fire STAB move in Weather Ball, Growth as a setup option, Synthesis healing for 2/3 of its health, Leech Seed for annoyance and every offensive Grass move you could expect. While its dual STAB does have more resistances to it than Zard's, It also hits more things super-effectively, and Earth Power patches up nearly all of these resistances. It is also slightly stronger than Zard Y, meaning Sunflora under Trick Room could also be a devastating option. OU.
Ability: Bask (Inverse of Dry Skin. Healed by Sun and Fire moves. Hurt by rain and Water moves)
Typing: Grass/Fire HP: 75 Attack: 45 (-30)
Defense: 115 (+50)
Special Attack: 135(+30)
Special Defense: 135 (+50)
Speed: 30
New Moves: Fire Blast, Flamethrower Description: A new toy for sun teams. Sunflora now loves sunlight even more and not only gets healed by it, it has a new STAB boosted by it as its petals burst into sun-like flame. Its old STAB helps it get rid of water types too, especially with Solar Beam. It loses its unneeded Attack and becomes a bulky special attacker.
Mega Roserade
Ability: Toxic Infusion (Lightning Rod clone for Poison moves) Typing: Grass/Fairy HP: 60 Attack: 80 (+10)
Defense: 95 (+30)
Special Attack: 145 (+20)
Special Defense: 125 (+20)
Speed: 110 (+20)
New Moves: Moonblast, Play Rough Description: Roserade embraces its Fairy egg group, but does not lose its poison heritage completely. Instead of a new quad weakness, it’s an immunity it absorbs to fill its special attacks with even more potency. Its also a bit bulkier to compliment the new immunity and has more special attack to really take advantages of the boost poison attacks provide. In addition, it hits a much nicer speed tier.
Mega Florges
Ability: Symbiotic Boost (Clone of Dancer/Competitive/Defiant. Whenever the opponent boosts their stats, this pokemon boosts the same stats) Typing: Fairy/Grass HP: 78 Attack: 95 (+30)
Defense: 110 (+42)
Special Attack: 120 (+8)
Special Defense: 164 (+10)
Speed: 75 New Moves: Synthesis, Giga Drain Description: After fully absorbing its flower into a symbiotic bond, Florges has earned the Grass typing it wanted. Its symbiotic nature and experience in preventing stat reduction has improved into an ability to absorb the stat improvements of those around it. It can act as a special wall with physical bulk as well and can attack back painfully. Anyone who tries to boost to get through Mega-Florges will be punished with Mega-Florges copying the boost. With even the Attack stat at a level that isn’t too bad, Mega-Florges can theoretically take advantage of almost any boost. Only the speed stat remains relatively unimpressive. Mega-Florges also gets better sustainability with Synthesis and a new STAB draining move in Giga Drain.
Sunflora-Mega
Ability: Bloom (Flower gift clone, 1.5x SPA and SPE in sun)
Typing:
Stats:
HP: 75
Attack: 25 (-50)
Defense: 85 (+30)
Special Attack: 155 (+50)
Special Defense: 85
Speed: 100 (+70)
Base Stat Total: 525
Movepool Additions: Heat Wave, Flamethrower
Description: Going into full bloom, M-sunflora becomes a deadly sun sweeper. With a potental of 492 speed and 674 SpA in the sun (if i did my math right), if you can switch this thing in on a few turns of sun, it could lead to an easy sweep. effectively a much better cherrim. Speaking of which, where is cherrim on this slate?
Roserade-Mega
Ability: Thorns (Rough Skin/ Iron Barbs clone)
Typing:
Stats:
HP: 60
Attack: 70
Defense: 115 (+50)
Special Attack: 125
Special Defense: 135 (+30)
Speed: 110 (+20)
Base Stat Total: 615
Movepool Additions: Spiky Shield, Spore
Description: I think mega-roserade here is a perfect OU/UU mon. Wanna know why? Well, you get good defenses (barring HP), a good speed, and a great base SpA. The addition of spiky shield and thorns allow it to hinder physical attackers just a bit. You also have access to spore, synthesis, leech seed, and entry hazards, which gives it good support capabilities. overall, a versitile mon.
Get a couple of opponents poisoned and sweep. Its STABs + Earth Power already couple amazingly and it just has so many power even against non Poisoned opponents. On the other hand, its bulk and Speed do leave something to be desired, 105 does outrun the crowded base 100s, but it is still not enough for something that desperately wants to set up Toxic Spikes. Rationale
Merciless really fits with Roserade in my opinion, it really looks a Pokémon that has no Merci whatsoever. Moonblast comes from with relationship with flowers, which are commonly associated with Fairy-types, and Earth Power is kind of a strecth but it is mainly for it not to get walled by Steel-types.

Floral Healing Competitive Analysis
A great wall, while its typing is no bless it is no curse either. 78 / 108 / 176 bulk is actually pretty good, and Flower Veil protects Florges from Toxic, Burn, Freeze, etc. as well as stat drops like Screech from Dugtrio and what not. On the other hand, it is still vulnreable to faster Attackers due to its still subpar physical bulk and weakness to five types. Rationale
Do I really need to explain the Grass-typing and Floral Healing? I think they all should have been in there since gen 6.

Weather Ball Competitive Analysis
Mega Sunflora is a powerful wallbreaker for sun teams, Grass + Fire + Ground coverage is almost unresisted and base 135 SpA is a ton when doubled. It also has pretty decent bulk and a boosting move to destroy passive stuff that still try to wall it:
+2 252 SpA Sunflora Solar Beam vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Eviolite Chansey: 510-601 (72.5 - 85.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
On the other hand, it is still extremely slow, making it sort of balanced, not only that but it is very reliant on Sun support to wallbreak, which isn't really a good thing. Rationale
Weather Ball makes a lot of since it is based on a sunflower, and its ability is also very easy to understand as it sunflowers follow the sun and gain more power when it is sunny.
Sunflora-Mega

MEGA ROSERADE
Type: Grass/Poison Stats: 60/80/65/165/115/130 (±0/+10/±0/+40/+10/+40) [BST: 615] [HEIGHT: 1.0m/3'03"] [WEIGHT: 15.0kg/33.1lb] Ability: Chlorophyll Added Moves: N/A Description: It's VERY fast, which can be taken further in sunlight, and has very high Special stats. That Special Attack stat's right on par with Mega Gardevoir, for reference... Example Moveset:
Roserade @ Roseradite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Solar Beam
- Sludge Bomb
- Shadow Ball
- Weather Ball
Sweeper that uses good neutral coverage. It's designed for use in sun, so Solar Beam and Weather Ball are nice Fire/Grass coverage, with Sludge Bomb as the other STAB and Shadow Ball to ensure it being neutral.
MEGA FLORGES
Type: Fairy Stats: 78/65/98/122/194/95 (±0/±0/+30/+10/+40/+20) [BST: 652] [HEIGHT: 1.2m/3'11"] [WEIGHT: 10.0kg/22.0lb] Ability: Natural Cure Added Moves: N/A Description: 78/98 physical bulk is decent i guess and WHAT IS THAT BASE 194 SPECIAL DEFENSE. Anyways, it's still a potent tank, packing 122 Special Attack with that bulk, and a decent Speed stat. Oh yeah, it finally has a usable ability. Example Moveset:
Florges @ Florgesite
Ability: Flower Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Moonblast
- Wish
- Protect / Synthesis
- Aromatherapy
It's fast enough to get a potent Moonblast off and use Wish and Protect/Synthesis to heal, with Aromatherapy to recover the allies. A classic cleric, with drastically improved physical bulk.
MEGA SUNFLORA
Type: Grass/Fire Stats: 75/30/75/175/85/85 (±0/-45/+20/+70/±0/+55) [BST: 525] [HEIGHT: 1.7m/5'07"] [WEIGHT: 11.7kg/25.6lb] Ability: Drought Added Moves: Weather Ball Description: STAB Weather Ball. With Drought. And Solar Beam, too. Ooh, dear... This one's a better Base!Xurkitree. But throws out Tail Glow for instant Sun to abuse STABs with. Example Moveset:
Sunflora @ Sunflorite
Ability: Early Bird
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Solar Beam
- Weather Ball
- Growth
- Earth Power
Remember Xurkitree? Yeah, we're going THAT route. Give it the Sunflorite, and it'll give you annihilation. Solar Beam/Weather Ball/Earth Power is good coverage, and Growth is basically a Nasty Plot.
MEGA SUNFLORA
Type: Grass/Fire Stats: 75/30/75/175/85/85 (±0/-45/+20/+70/±0/+55) [BST: 525] [HEIGHT: 1.7m/5'07"] [WEIGHT: 11.7kg/25.6lb] Ability: Drought Added Moves: Weather Ball Description: STAB Weather Ball. With Drought. And Solar Beam, too. Ooh, dear... This one's a better Base!Xurkitree. But throws out Tail Glow for instant Sun to abuse STABs with. Example Moveset:

- Sludge Bomb
- Earth Power
Remember Xurkitree? Yeah, we're going THAT route. Give it the Sunflorite, and it'll give you annihilation.
I'd give Growth over Sludge Bomb for sure on that sample set. Solar Beam + Weather Ball + Earth Power hits nearly everything already, and Sludge Bomb doesn't seem to hit anything specific.

Movepool Additions: Earth Power, Sandstorm, Earthquake
Description: Florges is based on nymphs, who are earth deities. Also, it has a symbiotic nature with plants despite not being one itself, and the other type most associated with nature is Ground, as seen with Landorus and Zygarde. Earth Power is STAB and gives it important coverage, while the other two moves are for flavor.
New Moves: Acid Spray, U-turn, Silver Wind, Drain Punch Description: Roserade's hands are enlarged. Thorny vines wrap around its chest to form an X, and it has a large leaf tail. Acid Spray and Silver Wind are Technician-boosted moves, with the former helping against Special walls. It's also a good Special wall itself, a role it can fill using moves such as Giga Drain, Leech Seed, Drain Punch, and Synthesis.
New Moves: Draining Kiss, Leaf Storm, Leech Seed Description: Its entire body is coated with beautiful flowers, and its hands become more leafy. Its Defenses are unbreakable. It can take on any attack, and it can heal itself right afterwards.
New Moves: Heat Wave, Flame Burst Description: Its head is enlarged, and its arms and legs double and lengthen and become like roots. Drastic measures have been taken to be a fast and powerful attacker. Grassy Terrain seals the deal in giving Sunflora strong special Grass moves.

Florges becomes a great partner to Tapu Bulu and Tapu Fini, using their terrains to boost its wallbreaker potential to stupendous levels, allowing it to 2HKO even bulky resists like Mega Scizor.
Mega Roserade
Ability: Poison Thorns (Tough Claws clone) Typing: Grass/Poison HP: 60 (+0) Attack: 120 (+50) Defense: 80 (+15) Special Attack: 135 (+10) Special Defense: 125 (+20) Speed: 95 (+5) New Move: Power Whip Description: "It strikes with whips that are densely lined with poison thorns." "Both hands can jab with near fatal power." "Thorny whips hidden in its arms." Mega Roserade becomes a fearsome wallbreaker that although it has a couple hard counters like Celesteela, it can take advantage of them by setting a layer of Spikes or putting the opponent to sleep.
I abstain for Sunflora, I actually didn't like any submittion because they all had either a Fire-typing or a stat spread that didn't make sense. Sorry.
