[OVERVIEW]

Pyukumuku's fantastic defensive stats, great defensive typing, and access to Unaware carve it out a strong niche on stall teams as a stop to various stallbreakers, such as Nasty Plot Lucario, Calm Mind Reuniclus, Block Slowbro, and Superpower Nidoking. Furthermore, Pyukumuku's unique set of tools allows it to break opposing stall teams by trapping and removing key foes with either Toxic or Spite. However, Pyukumuku is held back by how passive it is, allowing Taunt users such as Hydreigon, Mew, and Krookodile to completely shut it down and often giving free momentum to Scizor, which cannot be punished with Toxic on the switch due to its Steel typing. Pyukumuku's passivity is especially noticeable when running Rest with Spite, as it has no way of dissuading Pokemon such as Taunt Hydreigon and Mega Manectric from coming in. Certain stallbreakers are also able to set up on and break through Pyukumuku with little issue, such as Heracross, Haxorus, and Leaf Storm Celebi, meaning that teams with Pyukumuku will need to cover these Pokemon with teammates such as Mega Altaria and Scizor.

Moves
========

Block allows Pyukumuku to trap more passive Pokemon that cannot directly threaten it such as Mega Aggron and Sylveon in order to either PP stall or Toxic stall them. The move also allows Pyukumuku to trap threatening stallbreakers such as Nasty Plot Infernape and Lucario that Pyukumuku can beat due to Unaware. Toxic allows Pyukumuku to cripple Pokemon such as Taunt Hydreigon and Mega Manectric that would otherwise switch in freely. It also lets Pyukumuku stall out offensive Pokemon that it beats, such as Calm Mind Latias, Nasty Plot Togekiss, and Volcanion. Soak allows Pyukumuku to use Toxic against Steel- and Poison-types, which are otherwise immune to it. It also helps Pyukumuku against targets such as Cobalion and Lucario by removing the STAB bonus from their attacks. Spite allows Pyukumuku to PP stall stallbreakers such as Reuniclus and Substitute + Calm Mind Chandelure that are unable to be stalled out with Toxic. Rest in conjunction with Spite allows Pyukumuku to beat stallbreakers such as Block + Toxic Slowbro while also allowing it to break stall teams itself by trapping and PP stalling targets such as Blissey and Alomomola. Recover lets Pyukumuku check targets such as Nasty Plot Infernape and Lucario throughout the game without needing to use Rest.

Set Details
========

Unaware allows Pyukumuku to beat boosting special attackers such as Infernape, as well as some weaker boosting physical attackers such as Mimikyu.

Usage Tips
========

Pyukumuku should be brought in against threatening stallbreakers such as Nasty Plot Infernape and Lucario in order to wall and potentially trap and remove them, and its HP should be carefully conserved otherwise to take their Z-Moves reliably. However, Pyukumuku should be wary of physical sets from both these Pokemon, as they are capable of 2HKOing it. Pyukumuku should try to avoid Toxic users unless it needs to trap them, as removing the status with Rest allows Pokemon such as Psychium Z Nasty Plot Celebi and Substitute Chandelure to come in and 3HKO it. Be careful to conserve Block's PP, as opponents can easily stall out all uses of Block if they switch into a Ghost-type or a U-turn or Volt Switch user. When you predict one of these Pokemon to come in, it is better to either heal up with Recover or double switch instead of wasting Block's PP. If running Soak, Pyukumuku should use it to weaken opposing Pokemon such as Lucario and Cobalion by removing their STAB multipliers, allowing it to better take hits from them. This also allows Pyukumuku to wall Swords Dance Terrakion in a pinch, but only if Terrakion's Z-Move was already used. If running Spite, Pyukumuku should usually only use it against trapped foes in order to conserve its PP. It's often necessary to have a high number of PP for Spite in order to reliably take on Pokemon such as Celebi, Reuniclus, and Chandelure. Pyukumuku should avoid trying to PP stall foes such as Tentacruel and Mantine that have high-PP moves such as Rapid Spin and Haze, and Suicune should also be avoided due to Pressure unless PP stalling it is absolutely necessary. If running Rest and Spite, Pyukumuku should attempt to trap more passive entry hazard setters such as Mega Aggron, Empoleon, and Blissey, as it is not bothered by Toxic and can prevent them from setting entry hazards later in the match, although it should be wary of Roar from the former two. Spite Pyukumuku should also attempt to trap variants of Gligar that do not have U-turn, which is otherwise annoying due to Immunity. If Spite Pyukumuku does not have more important targets, it can be used to dismantle bulkier teams by eliminating Pokemon such as Alomomola, Slowbro, and defensive Moltres. Pyukumuku should be careful about using Rest against targets that aren't trapped, however, as this can offer free turns to the opposing team. Pyukumuku should be careful to scout the movesets and items of Pokemon such as Celebi and Togekiss, as Celebi can run Grassium Z on its Nasty Plot set to break through Pyukumuku, while Choice Scarf Togekiss can use Trick to cripple Pyukumuku and make it functionally useless.

Team Options
========

Pyukumuku fits on stall teams that appreciate its ability to beat many specially offensive stallbreakers such as Infernape and Lucario. Blissey is a fantastic partner for Pyukumuku, as it can set Stealth Rock to chip away at Pyukumuku's common switch-ins such as Scizor and use Heal Bell to cure Pyukumuku of status, which is especially helpful for Rest variants. Mega Altaria is a fantastic partner for Pyukumuku, capable of easily taking on physical attackers such as Crawdaunt, Tsareena, Haxorus, and Zeraora that force out Pyukumuku. It can also take Knock Off for Pyukumuku, act as a cleric with Heal Bell, remove entry hazards with Defog, and beat one of Pyukumuku's hardest checks in Taunt Hydreigon. Quagsire can form a double Unaware core with Pyukumuku, helping with physical setup sweepers such as Swords Dance Terrakion and Scizor that Pyukumuku can't deal with. It also provides an Electric immunity to help deal with non-Hidden Power Grass Mega Manectric trying to gain momentum on Pyukumuku. Quagsire can also help to punish U-turn spam with Counter, which also lets it deal with Mega Altaria and Bug Bite Scizor more reliably. Gligar can help deal with Terrakion while providing Defog support to Pyukumuku. In conjunction with Quagsire, it can also cover all variants of Mega Manectric, making Pyukumuku's team much less weak to Volt Switch spam. Nihilego can help Pyukumuku deal with Pokemon such as Leaf Storm Celebi while providing a stronger answer to Nasty Plot Togekiss that does not rely on not flinching. It can also set up Stealth Rock, allowing Blissey to run other moves such as Heal Bell and Wish, and absorb Toxic Spikes that would otherwise hinder Pyukumuku. Scizor can act as a strong answer to Leaf Storm Celebi while providing Defog support and helping deal with Swords Dance Haxorus, which is able to easily break through both Quagsire and Pyukumuku due to its ability Mold Breaker. In return, Pyukumuku can check the Fire-types such as Infernape and Chandelure that can use Scizor as setup fodder.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Counter can be used to punish U-turn users such as Scizor that would otherwise freely come in and gain momentum off of Pyukumuku and to possibly revenge kill unsuspecting physical attackers such as Terrakion. This move is generally hard to fit onto Pyukumuku's moveset, however. Protect can be run to improve Pyukumuku's matchup against Nasty Plot Togekiss by gaining extra HP between uses of Air Slash. It also allows Pyukumuku to scout for possible Z-Moves intended to surprise it and for Choice item users such as Primarina. This move is also hard to fit onto Pyukumuku's moveset, however, preventing Pyukumuku from either trapping targets or badly poisoning Steel-types if running Toxic, or making Pyukumuku more vulnerable to Toxic if running Spite. An alternative EV spread with maximum Defense investment can allow Pyukumuku to handle physical attackers such as Dragon Dance Mega Altaria and Swords Dance Terrakion, but other teammates such as Quagsire can also do this, and Pyukumuku loses out on its ability to check a large number of specially offensive stallbreakers.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Taunt Users**: Taunt users such as Hydreigon, Mew, and Krookodile are able to completely shut down Pyukumuku, forcing it to either use Struggle or switch out. Nidoking can also opt to run Taunt over Substitute to break past Pyukumuku.

**Pokemon That Can't Be Trapped**: Due to Pyukumuku's reliance on trapping Pokemon with Block in order to break them, Ghost-types and U-turn and Volt Switch users are an issue. U-turn users immune to Toxic such as Scizor and Mega Beedrill are particularly problematic, as they can switch in freely and gain free momentum against Pyukumuku's team. Ghost-types such as Doublade and Gengar also pose a problem, as they can switch in and waste Block's PP without having to worry about being badly poisoned due to their typings. Doublade can also cripple Pyukumuku with Toxic if it is not running Rest, while Gengar can waste Pyukumuku's PP and set up a Substitute on it if it is not running Spite.

**Electric-types**: Electric-type Pokemon such as Mega Manectric and Zeraora pose a huge threat to Pyukumuku. Zeraora can KO Pyukumuku with Plasma Fists, and both Pokemon can gain free momentum with Volt Switch while threatening common Ground-type partners that might attempt to block Volt Switch such as Quagsire and Gligar with their coverage moves, such as Hidden Power, Grass Knot, and Knock Off. Rotom-H is also problematic, as it is able to gain free momentum against Pyukumuku with Volt Switch, spread status with Toxic or Will-O-Wisp, and heal itself while wearing down targets such as Blissey with Pain Split. All of these Pokemon need to be wary of Toxic from Pyukumuku when switching in, however.

**Grass-types**: Grass-type Pokemon such as Tsareena and Mega Sceptile can easily KO Pyukumuku, while Tsareena can gain momentum with U-turn and rid itself of Toxic once if running Lum Berry. Celebi can also be a threat if it is running a Leaf Storm + Nasty Plot set.

**Strong Physical Attackers**: Strong physical attackers such as Mega Altaria and Choice Band Terrakion are capable of easily beating Pyukumuku. Mega Altaria in particular is a very large threat, either shrugging off Toxic with Refresh or taking advantage of being poisoned with Facade, making it much more dangerous to switch into.

**Residual Damage**: Entry hazards can allow stallbreakers such as Nidoking and Infernape to potentially 2HKO Pyukumuku on the switch, and if Pyukumuku is badly poisoned, stallbreakers such as Celebi and Togekiss can set up on Pyukumuku and break through it. This can be further confounded by Pyukumuku being forced to pivot in a lot to deal with these stallbreakers, as the opponent can double switch to a Pokemon that can force Pyukumuku out again, meaning it will frequently take damage from entry hazards.

**Necrozma and Haxorus**: Due to Photon Geyser and Mold Breaker ignoring Unaware, Necrozma and Haxorus are able to break through Pyukumuku by boosting with Swords Dance, or potentially Calm Mind in Necrozma's case. However, both of these Pokemon must be wary of Toxic putting them on a timer.

Overview
- Reuniclus is fairly niche, so I'd replace that example with either Togekiss or non-Leaf Storm Celebi.
- Bring up Krookodile as a Taunt user instead of Crobat, as the former is much more common.
- I'd bring up that certain stallbreakers can still break through Pyukumuku with little issue, Leaf Storm Celebi, Heracross, and Haxorus all being the main examples

Moves
- Block doesn't need to be in two separate lines, so just merge the two.
- I'd also mention in your Toxic line that it's important in stalling out the Pokemon that Pyukumuku can tank hits from, and maybe provide some examples.
- Put your Soak line directly below the Toxic line since they're almost always to be used in conjunction with one another. Do the same for Spite and Rest.
- Bring up Lucario in your Recover line just for the sake of having more examples.

Set Details
- The EV spread is pretty straightforward info so I wouldn't bother mentioning it here.

Usage Tips
- This looks great! The only thing I'd add is elaboration on Spite since right now there isn't any mention of it. Solid work in this section :]

Other Options
- Mention in both your first lines that the moves are just hard to find room for due to how generally invaluable Pyukumuku's other moves listed are for it.
- Add Gastro Acid and say that it can allow Pyukumuku to remove key abilities to certain stallbreakers, like Reuniclus and Heracross, but also mention that it isn't super consistently useful.

Checks and Counters
- Change the Hoopa example to Nidoking in the stallbreaker section.
- Mention some examples of Ghost-types when talking about their immunity to getting trapped.
- Mention Rotom-H in the Electric-type section and say that in addition to gaining easy momentum on Pyukumuku, it can use Toxic or Will-O-Wisp to spread status around Pyukumuku's team while further wearing down its teammates with Pain Split. Do mention, however, that it alongside every other listed example should be wary of Toxic.
- In the Grass-type section, change 'once due to its Lum Berry' to 'once if running Lum Berry.' Also just say Leaf Storm Celebi instead of Z, since with Unaware Celebi can ignore stat drops to easily power through Pyuku.
- Add a section on residual damage, and state that with minimal chip damage from hazards, poison, and pivoting, Pyukumuku can pretty easily make its matchup against several stallbreakers, like Nidoking and Infernape, a lot shakier.

Great job! 1/3 when this is implemented :)

[OVERVIEW]
  • Fantastic defensive stats, a great defensive typing in Water, and access to Unaware carve out a strong niche for Pyukumuku on stall teams as a stop to various Special attacking setup sweepers in UU that commonly threaten stall teams, such as Infernape, Lucario and Togekiss.
  • Furthermore, Pyukumku's good mixed defenses allow it to serve as a strong answer to mixed Special attackers such as Superpower Nidoking and Volcanion that would otherwise lure Blissey in these stall builds. Both of these are niche but the Fightinium Z Volcanion set is even more so. Remove the mention of Volc and incorporate the Nidoking part in the point before.
  • Access to Block and moves such as Soak and Spite allow Pyukumuku to trap and remove dangerous Pokemon by either Toxic or PP stalling them. In addition, Pyukumuku can also run Rest with Spite to serve as a dangerous Stallbreaker for Stall teams.
  • Pyukumuku can also beat especially dangerous stallbreakers such as Calm Mind Reuniclus Hilo asked you to change this example to a more common one. and both Calm Mind and Toxic versions of Block Slowbro without the need of Confide, Haze or a Shed Shell, freeing up teammates moveslots and items.
  • Pyukumuku is however held back by how passive it is, allowing Taunt users such as Hydreigon and Krookodile Given its addition and it clearly staying, add Mew to this list to completely shut it down, and allowing Pokemon such as Scizor to freely swap in and gain momentum with U-turn, as Pyukumuku needs to use Soak before it can Toxic it, due to its Steel typing. Pyukumuku's passivity is especially noticeable when running Rest with Spite, as it has no way of punishing Pokemon such as Taunt Hydreigon and Mega Manectric from coming in.
  • Certain stallbreakers are also able to break through Pyukumuku with little issue still, such as Heracross, Haxorus and Leaf Storm Celebi, and are able to use it as setup bait, forcing other strong answers to these Pokemon be ran alongside Pyukumuku, such as Mega Altaria and Scizor.

Moves
========

  • Block allows Pyukumuku to trap more passive Pokemon that cannot directly threaten it such as Mega Aggron and Sylveon in order to either PP stall or Toxic stall them. Block also allows Pyukumuku to trap threatening Stallbreakers such as Nasty Plot Infernape and Reuniclus that Pyukumuku can beat due to Unaware.
  • Toxic allows Pyukumuku to cripple swap ins such as Taunt Hydreigon and Mega Manectric that would otherwise swap in freely. It is important in stalling out Pokemon that Pyukumuku can live hits from, such as Calm Mind Latias, and Volcanion.
  • Soak in conjunction with Toxic allows Pyukumuku to use Toxic against Steel and Poison types that would otherwise be immune to it. It also helps Pyukumuku against targets such as Cobalion and Lucario by removing the STAB bonus from their attacks.
  • Spite allows Pyukumuku to beat stallbreakers such as Substitute Calm Mind Chandelure and Reuniclus, and Work Up Mega Pidgeot Replace this Mega Pidgeot mention for Heal Bell Togekiss as a target it punishes instead. that would otherwise be immune to Toxic even with Soak, or out PP it with Refresh, by PP stalling them.
  • Rest in conjunction with Spite allows Pyukumuku to beat Stallbreakers such as Block Slowbro with Toxic, while also allowing it to serve as a Stallbreaker itself, allowing it to trap and PP stall targets such as Blissey and Alomomola.
  • Recover is Pyukumuku's main form of recovery, letting it check targets such as Nasty Plot Infernape and Lucario throughout the game without needing to use Rest.

Set Details
========

  • Unaware is Pyukumuku's ability of choice, allowing it to beat boosting special attackers such as Infernape, and some weaker boosting physical attackers such as Mimikyu without Wood Hammer. Wood Hammer Mimikyu is niche, just don't mention the move.

Usage Tips
========

  • Pyukumuku's HP should be conserved by not taking unnecessary chip damage where possible so as to better deal with Special setup sweepers such as Chandelure Infernape instead of Chandelure here and Lucario by not entering into range of their Z-moves. Seeing as all of this is about how to use its set combos, add a sentence saying Pyuku does need to be wary of their physical sets as it can be 2HKOed by both.
  • Pyukumuku should avoid being afflicted with Poison where possible unless the target is trapped, as this allows Pokemon such as Psychium Nasty Plot Celebi and Substitute Chandelure to beat it due to being able to 3HKO it while asleep after using Rest.
  • Pyukumuku should be brought in against threatening stallbreakers such as Nasty Plot Infernape and Calm Mind Reuniclus, in order to wall and potentially trap and remove them. This sentence feels out of place so move to the beginning.
  • Pyukumuku should be careful about when it uses Block, as it only has 8 PP. Pokemon such as Scizor and Mega Beedrill are able to swap in on a Block, and use U-turn to pivot out unaffected, while Ghost types such as Doublade and Gengar are immune to trapping via Block, and can swap out the turn after freely. When predicting one of these Pokemon to come in, it is better to either heal up with Recover or to double switch instead of wasting Block PP.
  • If running Soak, Pyukumuku should use it to weaken opposing Pokemon such as Lucario and Cobalion by removing their STAB multipliers, allowing it to better take hits from them. This also allows Pyukumuku to wall Swords Dance Terrakion in a pinch, unless the Z-move is used on the turn Soak is used, which should therefore be baited first.
  • If running Spite, Pyukumuku should prioritise only using it against Blocked targets so as not to waste PP on switches, and should try to conserve its PP so that it still has enough left to PP stall targets such as Celebi and Reuniclus if necessary, and so that it has sufficient PP if facing Substitute Pokemon such as Chandelure that it is forced to use Spite against that may potentially swap out and waste Spite PP. Pyukumuku should avoid trying to PP stall opponents such as Tentacruel and Mantine that have high PP moves such as Rapid Spin and Haze, and unless necessary, Suicune, due to Pressure effectively halving the PP of Spite.
  • If running Rest with Spite, Pyukumuku should actively attempt to trap more passive Entry Hazard setters such as Mega Aggron, Empoleon and Blissey, You should add Gligar, as Spite + Block lets it beat Toxic variants of Gligar, a Mon that is otherwise annoying as Immunity prevents it from being poisoned. as it is no longer stopped by opposing Toxic and can PP stall them with Spite, preventing them from setting up Entry Hazards later in the match, although it should be wary of Roar from the former two. Rest also allows it to trap and beat other Pokemon such as Alomomola, Slowbro and Defensive Moltres, allowing it to break bulkier teams and opposing Stalls. Pyukumuku should be careful about using Rest against targets that aren't trapped however, as this can offer free turns to the opposing team.
  • Pyukumuku should be careful to scout the movesets and items of Pokemon such as Celebi and Togekiss, which can run Z-Leaf Storm or hold a Metronome I dunno about mentioning metronome Kiss seeing as its just one of these items you 'can' slap on cos fck it. Use Choice Scarf Togekiss as the example because Trick will make Pyuku useless. respectively to beat Pyukumuku with their Nasty Plot sets.

Team Options
========

  • Pyukumuku fits on Stall teams that appreciate its ability to beat a plethora of Special attacking Stallbreakers such as Infernape and Lucario.
  • Blissey is a mandatory option on nearly all stall teams This line is redundant, just go into saying Blissey is a great partner for Pyuku because... Pyukumuku appreciates its ability to set Stealth Rock to chip Pyukumuku's common swap ins such as Scizor, or its ability to use Heal Bell to cure Pyukumuku of Status, or wake it up prematurely if running Rest. In return, Pyukumuku helps Blissey deal with Stallbreakers such as Infernape and Lucario that might attempt to set up on it.
  • Mega Altaria is a fantastic partner for Pyukumuku, capable of easily taking on Physical Attackers such as Crawdaunt, Tsareena and Zeraora that force out Pyukumuku. It also noteably provides a strong answer to Taunt Hydreigon which can shut down Pyukumuku, and Swords Dance Haxorus, while being able to provide Defog or Heal Bell support to its team, and acting as a Knock Off sponge for Pyukumuku, which needs its Leftovers in order to check opposing Pokemon better.
  • Quagsire can form a double Unaware core with Pyukumuku, helping with Physical setup sweepers such as Swords Dance Terrakion and Scizor that Pyukumuku can't deal with. It also provides an Electric immunity to help deal with non-Hidden Power Grass Mega Manectrics trying to gain momentum on Pyukumuku. Quagsire can also help to punish U-turn spam with Counter, which also lets it deal with Mega Altaria and Bug Bite Scizor more reliably.
  • Gligar can help deal with Choice Band and Swords Dance Terrakion, while providing Defog support to Pyukumuku. In conjunction with Quagsire, it can also cover all forms of Mega Manectric, making Pyukumuku's team much less weak to Volt Switch spam. Pyukumuku can in return help deal with the setup Stallbreakers that use Gligar as fodder, such as Reuniclus.
  • Nihilego can help Pyukumuku deal with Pokemon such as Leaf Storm Celebi, while providing a stronger answer to Nasty Plot Togekiss that does not rely on not getting flinched. It can also set up Stealth Rock, allowing Blissey to run other moves such as Heal Bell or Wish, and absorb Toxic Spikes that would otherwise hinder Pyukumuku.
  • Scizor can provide Pyukumuku with a strong answer to Leaf Storm Celebi, while providing Defog support and helping deal with Swords Dance Haxorus, which is able to easily break through both Quagsire and Pyukumuku due to its ability Mold Breaker. In return Pyukumuku can check the Fire-types such as Infernape and Chandelure that can use Scizor as setup fodder.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

  • Counter can be ran by Pyukumuku to punish U-turn users such as Scizor that would otherwise freely come in and gain momentum off of Pyukumuku, and to possibly revenge kill unexpecting physical attackers such as Terrakion. This is generally hard to fit however, as all of Pyukumuku's moves are very valuable to it.
  • Protect can be ran by Pyukumuku to improve its matchup vs Nasty Plot Togekiss by gaining extra HP between Air Slashes, though it must be wary of Metronome As I said before, just remove the metronome mention. It can also allow it to scout for possible Z-Moves intended to lure it, and to scout choice locked pokemon such as Primarina. This is also hard to fit onto Pyukumuku's set however, preventing Pyukumuku from either Trapping targets or Poisoning Steel-types if running Toxic, or making Pyukumuku more vulnerable to Toxic if running Spite.
  • Gastro Acid is another option that allows Pyukumuku to remove the abilities from certain Stallbreakers, allowing Pyukumuku to Toxic stall Reuniclus, and remove Mold Breaker and Guts from Haxorus and Heracross attempting to set up on it respectively. However, this is also hard to fit onto Pyukumuku's moveset, and isn't consistently useful over other options.
  • An alternative EV spread with Maximal Defense investment can allow Pyukumuku to handle Physical attackers such as Dragon Dance Mega Altaria and Swords Dance Terrakion, however other teammates such as Quagsire can also do this, while Pyukumuku loses out on its ability to check a large number of Special attacking Stallbreakers.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Taunt Users**: Taunt users such as Hydreigon, Crobat and Cobalion Mew and Krookodile over Bat and Coba. are able to completely shut down Pyukumuku, forcing it to either Struggle or swap out. Certain stallbreakers such as Chandelure meh chandelure doesn't really have the luxury of running taunt, I would replace with something else and Nidoking can opt to run Taunt over Substitute to break past Pyukumuku as well, however in Chandelure's case this makes it harder for it to find setup opportunities, and makes it more vulnerable to pursuit trapping. This isn't a Chandelure analysis

**Pokemon That Can't Be Trapped**: Due to Pyukumuku's reliance on trapping Pokemon with Block in order to break them, Pokemon that can't be trapped either by being immune to trapping by being a Ghost-type, or by knowing U-turn or Volt Switch are an issue. U-turn users immune to Toxic such as Scizor and Mega Beedrill are particularly problematic, as they can swap in freely, and gain free momentum against Pyukumuku's team. Ghost-types such as Doublade and Gengar are also problematic to Pyukumuku, being able to swap in and waste Pyukumuku's Block PP, without having to worry about being Toxic'd due to their Steel- and Poison-typings respectively. Doublade can also cripple Pyukumuku with Toxic if it is not running Rest, while Gengar can freely waste Pyukumuku's PP and set up a substitute on it if it is not running Spite.

**Electric-types**: Electric-type Pokemon such as Mega Manectric, and Zeraora pose a huge threat to Pyukumuku. Zeraora can KO Pyukumuku with Plasma Fists, while both Pokemon can gain free momentum on a swap with Volt Switch, while threatening common Ground-type partners that might attempt to block Volt Switch such as Quagsire and Gligar with their coverage moves, such as Hidden Power Grass/Ice, Grass Knot and Knock Off. Rotom-H is also problematic, being able to gain free momentum againt Pyukumuku with Volt Switch, while being able to spread Status around Pyukumuku's team with Toxic or Will-o-Wisp, while wearing down its teammates with Pain Split, allowing it to heal itself against targets such as Blissey. All these Pokemon need to be wary of Toxic from Pyukumuku when swapping in however.

**Grass-types**: Grass-type Pokemon such as Tsareena and Mega Sceptile can easily kill Pyukumuku, while Tsareena can gain momentum on a swap with U-turn and be unaffected by Toxic once if running Lum Berry. Celebi can also be a threat if it is running a Leaf Storm variant of its Nasty Plot set.

**Strong Physical Attackers**: Strong physical attackers such as Mega Altaria and Choice Band Terrakion are capable of easily beating Pyukumuku. Mega Altaria in particular is a very large threat, either being able to shrug off Toxic with Refresh, or powering up its Facade, making it much more dangerous to swap into.

**Residual Damage**: Entry hazards and Status can make Pyukumuku's match up versus stallbreakers such as Nidoking and Infernape a lot shakier, allowing Pyukumuku to easily be put in range of being 2HKOd by these Pokemon as it swaps in to deal with them, or allowing Stallbreakers such as Celebi and Togekiss to set up on Pyukumuku and break through it if Pyukumuku is Poisoned. This can be further confounded by Pyukumuku being forced to pivot in a lot to deal with these Stallbreakers, while the enemy swaps into something that can force Pyukumuku out again, forcing it to constantly take damage from entry hazards.

**Necrozma**: Due to Photon Geyser ignoring Unaware, Necrozma is able to break through Pyukumuku by boosting with Calm Mind or Swords Dance. However, Necrozma must be wary of potential Toxic putting it on a timer. Idk why this really has its own mention when Haxorus also does the same thing. If you are gonna dedicate a point to Necro mention Haxorus too.

implemented, ready for 3rd check.

Discussed with Twilight over discord to explain that Hilomilo had clarified to me on discord that he only wanted first Reuniclus mention removed in overview.

Also discussed the replacing pidgeot with togekiss, have added it but moved it to the point on Toxic as the other mentions were specifically for Pokemon spite beats that toxic doesn't, which togekiss does not fall under, due to heal bells lower PP.

this is about 85-15 GP-QC ratio. It's basically a GP check where my restriction of "no content changes" is thrown out the window. Still counts. Credit to Nuked for starting this as a QC check before handing it off to me partially done.

Pyukumuku can also beat especially dangerous stallbreakers such as Calm Mind Reuniclus and both Calm Mind and Toxic versions of Block Slowbro without the need of Confide, Haze or a Shed Shell, freeing up its teammates moveslots and items. stallbreakers, such as Nasty Plot Lucario, Calm Mind Reuniclus, Block Slowbro, and Superpower Nidoking. Furthermore, Pyukumuku's unique set of tools allows it to break opposing stall teams by trapping and removing key foes with either Toxic or Spite. However, (qc change: the overview really doesn't need to separately state every stallbreaker in the tier that pyuku beats by splitting them into different subcategories. just calling them all stallbreakers is fine. In addition we don't need to list 6 right off the bat in the overview. Those can be spread out.) Pyukumuku is however held back by how passive it is, allowing Taunt users such as Hydreigon, Mew, and Krookodile to completely shut it down, (RC) and allowing Pokemon such as (redundant sentence structure, and this clause seems REALLY focused on only scizor so a "Pokemon such as" doesn't apply) often giving free momentum to Scizor to freely swap in and gain momentum with U-turn, as Pyukumuku needs to use Soak before it can Toxic it, (keep comma) which cannot be punished with Toxic on the switch due to its Steel typing. Pyukumuku's passivity is especially noticeable when running Rest with Spite, as it has no way of punishing Pokemon such as Taunt Hydreigon and Mega Manectric from coming in. Certain stallbreakers are also able to set up on and break through Pyukumuku with little issue still, such as Heracross, Haxorus, (AC) and Leaf Storm Celebi, and are able to use it as setup bait, forcing other strong answers to these Pokemon be ran alongside Pyukumuku, such as Mega Altaria and Scizor meaning that teams with Pyukumuku will still need to cover these Pokemon with teammates such as Mega Altaria and Scizor. Moves
========

Block allows Pyukumuku to trap more passive Pokemon that cannot directly threaten it such as Mega Aggron and Sylveon in order to either PP stall or Toxic stall them. Block also allows Pyukumuku to trap threatening Stallbreakers stallbreakers such as Nasty Plot Infernape and Reuniclus (used later as an example in this section) Lucario that Pyukumuku can beat due to Unaware. Toxic allows Pyukumuku to cripple swap ins Pokemon such as Taunt Hydreigon and Mega Manectric that would otherwise swap switch in freely. It is important in stalling out Pokemon that Pyukumuku can live hits from, also lets Pyukumuku stall out offensive Pokemon that it beats, such as Calm Mind Latias, Nasty Plot Togekiss, and Volcanion. Soak in conjunction with Toxic allows Pyukumuku to use Toxic against Steel and Poison types that would otherwise be Steel- and Poison-types, which are otherwise immune to it. It also helps Pyukumuku against targets such as Cobalion and Lucario by removing the STAB bonus from their attacks. Spite allows Pyukumuku to beat PP stall stallbreakers such as Reuniclus and Substitute Calm Mind Chandelure, (RC) and Reuniclus that would otherwise be are unable to be inflicted with stalled out with Toxic, or not take any damage from it due to Magic Guard, by PP stalling them. Rest in conjunction with Spite allows Pyukumuku to beat Stallbreakers stallbreakers such as Block + Toxic Slowbro, (RC) while also allowing it to serve as a Stallbreaker itself, allowing it to trap and PP stall break stall teams itself by trapping and PP stalling targets such as Blissey and Alomomola. Recover is Pyukumuku's main form of recovery, letting it check targets such as Nasty Plot Infernape and Lucario throughout the game without needing to use Rest.

Set Details
========

Unaware is Pyukumuku's ability of choice, allowing it allows Pyukumuku to beat boosting special attackers such as Infernape, and some weaker boosting physical attackers such as Mimikyu.

Usage Tips
========

Pyukumuku should be brought in against threatening stallbreakers such as Nasty Plot Infernape and Calm Mind Reuniclus Lucario, in order to wall and potentially trap and remove them, and its HP should be carefully conserved otherwise to take their Z-Moves reliably. Pyukumuku's HP should be conserved by not taking unnecessary chip damage where possible so as to better deal with Special setup sweepers such as Infernape and Lucario by not entering into range of their Z-moves. However, Pyukumuku should however be wary of physical sets from both these Pokemon however, as they are capable of 2HKOing it. Pyukumuku should try to avoid being afflicted with Poison where possible Toxic users unless the target is trapped it needs to trap them, as this removing the status with Rest allows Pokemon such as Psychium Z Nasty Plot Celebi and Substitute Chandelure to beat it due to being able to come in and 3HKO it while asleep after using Rest. (keep period) Pyukumuku should be careful about when it uses Block, as it only has 8 PP. Pokemon such as Scizor and Mega Beedrill are able to swap in on a Block, and use U-turn to pivot out unaffected, while Ghost types such as Doublade and Gengar are immune to trapping via Block, and can swap out the turn after freely. (this section is very large so i am making this bit more concise and removing some of the less necessary details) Be careful to conserve Block's PP, as opponents can easily stall out all uses of Block if they switch into a Ghost-type or a U-turn or Volt Switch user. When predicting one of these Pokemon to come in, it is better to either heal up with Recover or to double switch instead of wasting Block PP. If running Soak, Pyukumuku should use it to weaken opposing Pokemon such as Lucario and Cobalion by removing their STAB multipliers, allowing it to better take hits from them. This also allows Pyukumuku to wall Swords Dance Terrakion in a pinch, unless the Z-move is used on the turn Soak is used, which should therefore be baited first but only if Terrakion's Z-Move was already used. If running Spite, Pyukumuku should prioritise only using it against Blocked targets so as not to waste PP on switches, and should try to conserve its PP so that it still has enough left to PP stall targets such as Celebi and Reuniclus if necessary, and so that it has sufficient PP if facing Substitute Pokemon such as Chandelure that it is forced to use Spite against that may potentially swap out and waste Spite PP. (completely incomprehensible) usually only use it against trapped foes in order to conserve its PP. It's often necessary to have a high number of PP for Spite in order to reliably take on Pokemon such as Celebi, Reuniclus, and Chandelure. Pyukumuku should avoid trying to PP stall opponents foes such as Tentacruel and Mantine that have high PP high-PP moves such as Rapid Spin and Haze, and unless necessary, Suicune, due to Pressure effectively halving the PP of Spite Suicune should also be avoided due to Pressure unless PP stalling it is necessary. If running Rest with and Spite, Pyukumuku should actively attempt to trap more passive Entry Hazard entry hazard setters such as Mega Aggron, Empoleon, (AC) and Blissey, as it is no longer stopped by opposing Toxic and can PP stall them with Spite, preventing them from setting up Entry Hazards later in the match, not bothered by Toxic and can prevent them from setting hazards later in the match, although it should be wary of Roar from the former two. Spite Pyukumuku should also attempt to trap Toxic variants of Gligar, (RC) once its moveset has been scouted to confirm that Gligar does that do not have U-turn, which is an otherwise annoying Pokemon due to Immunity preventing it from being Poisoned. (keep period) Rest also allows it to trap and beat other Pokemon such as Alomomola, Slowbro and Defensive Moltres, allowing it to break bulkier teams and opposing Stalls. If Spite Pyukumuku does not have more important targets, it can be used to dismantle bulkier teams by eliminating Pokemon such as Alomomola, Slowbro, and defensive Moltres. Pyukumuku should be careful about using Rest against targets that aren't trapped, (AC) however, as this can offer free turns to the opposing team. Pyukumuku should be careful to scout the movesets and items of Pokemon such as Celebi and Togekiss, as Celebi can run Z-Leaf Storm Grassium Z on its Nasty Plot set to break through Pyukumuku, while Choice Scarf Togekiss can use Trick to cripple Pyukumuku and make it functionally useless.

Team Options
========

Pyukumuku fits on Stall stall (don't capitalize playstyles or roles) teams that appreciate its ability to beat a plethora of Special attacking Stallbreakers many specially offensive stallbreakers such as Infernape and Lucario. Blissey is a fantastic partner for Pyukumuku, which appreciates Blissey's ability to set as it can set Stealth Rock to chip Pyukumuku's common swap ins switch-ins such as Scizor, or its ability to and use Heal Bell to cure Pyukumuku of Status, or wake it up prematurely if running Rest status, which is especially helpful for Rest. (keep period) In return, Pyukumuku helps Blissey deal with Stallbreakers such as Infernape and Lucario that might attempt to set up on it. (already stated.) Mega Altaria is a fantastic partner for Pyukumuku, capable of easily taking on Physical Attackers physical attackers such as Crawdaunt, Tsareena, (AC) Haxorus, and Zeraora that force out Pyukumuku. It can also take Knock Off for Pyukumuku, act as a cleric with Heal Bell, remove entry hazards with Defog, and beat one of Pyukumuku's hardest checks in Taunt Hydreigon. Quagsire can form a double Unaware core with Pyukumuku, helping with Physical physical setup sweepers such as Swords Dance Terrakion and Scizor that Pyukumuku can't deal with. It also provides an Electric immunity to help deal with non-Hidden Power Grass Mega Manectrics Manectric trying to gain momentum on Pyukumuku. Quagsire can also help to punish U-turn spam with Counter, which also lets it deal with Mega Altaria and Bug Bite Scizor more reliably. Gligar can help deal with Terrakion, (RC) while providing Defog support to Pyukumuku. In conjunction with Quagsire, it can also cover all forms of Mega Manectric, making Pyukumuku's team much less weak to Volt Switch spam. Pyukumuku can in return help deal with the setup Stallbreakers that use Gligar as fodder, such as Reuniclus. (its role was clearly stated at the start and everything here plays into the first sentence in team options.) Nihilego can help Pyukumuku deal with Pokemon such as Leaf Storm Celebi, (RC) while providing a stronger answer to Nasty Plot Togekiss that does not rely on not getting flinched flinching. It can also set up Stealth Rock, allowing Blissey to run other moves such as Heal Bell or Wish, and absorb Toxic Spikes that would otherwise hinder Pyukumuku. Scizor can provide Pyukumuku with act as a strong answer to Leaf Storm Celebi, (RC) while providing Defog support and helping deal with Swords Dance Haxorus, which is able to easily break through both Quagsire and Pyukumuku due to its ability Mold Breaker. In return, (AC) Pyukumuku can check the Fire-types such as Infernape and Chandelure that can use Scizor as setup fodder. (this one is fine)

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Counter can be ran by Pyukumuku used to punish U-turn users such as Scizor that would otherwise freely come in and gain momentum off of Pyukumuku, and to possibly revenge kill unexpecting unsuspecting physical attackers such as Terrakion. This is generally hard to fit, (AC) however, as all of Pyukumuku's moves are very valuable to it. Protect can be ran by Pyukumuku run to improve its Pyukumuku's matchup vs against Nasty Plot Togekiss by gaining extra HP between Air Slashes uses of Air Slash. It can also allow it also allows Pyukumuku to scout for possible Z-Moves intended to lure it, and to scout choice locked pokemon such as Primarina and for Choice item users such as Primarina. This is also hard to fit onto Pyukumuku's set, (AC) however, preventing Pyukumuku from either Trapping trapping targets or Poisoning badly poisoning Steel-types if running Toxic, or making Pyukumuku more vulnerable to Toxic if running Spite. Gastro Acid is another option that allows Pyukumuku to remove the abilities from certain Stallbreakers, allowing Pyukumuku to Toxic stall Reuniclus, and remove Mold Breaker and Guts from Haxorus and Heracross attempting to set up on it respectively. However, this is also hard to fit onto Pyukumuku's moveset, and isn't consistently useful over other options. (unviable) An alternative EV spread with Maximal maximum Defense investment can allow Pyukumuku to handle Physical physical attackers such as Dragon Dance Mega Altaria and Swords Dance Terrakion, however but other teammates such as Quagsire can also do this, while and Pyukumuku loses out on its ability to check a large number of Special attacking Stallbreakers specially offensive stallbreakers.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Taunt Users**: Taunt users such as Hydreigon, Mew, and Krookodile are able to completely shut down Pyukumuku, forcing it to either Struggle or swap switch out. Nidoking can also opt to run Taunt over Substitute to break past Pyukumuku.

**Pokemon That Can't Be Trapped**: Due to Pyukumuku's reliance on trapping Pokemon with Block in order to break them, Pokemon that can't be trapped either by being immune to trapping by being a Ghost-type, or by knowing U-turn or Volt Switch are an issue Ghost-types and U-turn and Volt Switch users are an issue. U-turn users immune to Toxic such as Scizor and Mega Beedrill are particularly problematic, as they can swap in freely, (RC) and gain free momentum against Pyukumuku's team. Ghost-types such as Doublade and Gengar are also problematic to Pyukumuku, being able to swap as they can switch in and waste Pyukumuku's Block PP, (RC) without having to worry about being Toxic'd due to their Steel- and Poison-typings respectively badly poisoned due to their typings. Doublade can also cripple Pyukumuku with Toxic if it is not running Rest, while Gengar can freely waste Pyukumuku's PP and set up a substitute Substitute on it if it is not running Spite.

**Electric-types**: Electric-type Pokemon such as Mega Manectric, (RC) and Zeraora pose a huge threat to Pyukumuku. Zeraora can KO Pyukumuku with Plasma Fists, while and both Pokemon can gain free momentum on a swap with Volt Switch, (RC) while threatening common Ground-type partners that might attempt to block Volt Switch such as Quagsire and Gligar with their coverage moves, such as Hidden Power Grass/Ice, Grass Knot, (AC) and Knock Off. Rotom-H is also problematic, being as it is able to gain free momentum againt against Pyukumuku with Volt Switch, while being able to spread Status around Pyukumuku's team status with Toxic or Will-o-Wisp Will-O-Wisp, (keep comma) while wearing down its teammates with Pain Split, allowing it to and heal itself against while wearing down targets such as Blissey with Pain Split. All of these Pokemon need to be wary of Toxic from Pyukumuku when swapping in switching in, however.

**Grass-types**: Grass-type Pokemon such as Tsareena and Mega Sceptile can easily kill KO Pyukumuku, while Tsareena can gain momentum on a swap with U-turn and be unaffected by Toxic once if running Lum Berry. Celebi can also be a threat if it is running a Leaf Storm variant of its Nasty Plot set.

**Strong Physical Attackers**: Strong physical attackers such as Mega Altaria and Choice Band Terrakion are capable of easily beating Pyukumuku. Mega Altaria in particular is a very large threat, either being able to shrug shrugging off Toxic with Refresh, (RC) or powering up its or taking advantage of being poisoned with Facade, making it much more dangerous to swap switch into.

**Residual Damage**: Entry hazards and Status can make Pyukumuku's match up versus stallbreakers such as Nidoking and Infernape a lot shakier, allowing Pyukumuku to easily be put in range of being 2HKOd by these Pokemon as it swaps in to deal with them, or allowing Stallbreakers such as Celebi and Togekiss to set up on Pyukumuku and break through it if Pyukumuku is Poisoned. allow stallbreakers such as Nidoking and Infernape to potentially 2HKO Pyukumuku on the switch, and if Pyukumuku is badly poisoned, stallbreakers such as Celebi and Togekiss can set up on Pyukumuku and break through it. This can be further confounded by Pyukumuku being forced to pivot in a lot to deal with these Stallbreakers stallbreakers, while the enemy swaps switches into something that can force Pyukumuku out again, forcing it to constantly meaning it will frequently take damage from entry hazards.

[OVERVIEW]

Pyukumuku's fantastic defensive stats, great defensive typing in Water (Do you need this?), and access to Unaware carve it out a strong niche on stall teams as a stop to various stallbreakers, such as Nasty Plot Lucario, Calm Mind Reuniclus, Block Slowbro, and Superpower Nidoking. Furthermore, Pyukumuku's unique (Usually, "unique" isn't used correctly, but Pyukumuku is truly the only Pokemon with this set of attributes, so it's correct here.) set of tools allows it to break opposing stall teams by trapping and removing key foes with either Toxic or Spite. However, Pyukumuku is held back by how passive it is, allowing Taunt users such as Hydreigon, Mew, and Krookodile to completely shut it down and often giving free momentum to Scizor, which cannot be punished with Toxic on the switch due to its Steel typing.
