ORAS UU RTM Beedrill Balance

This team is about Mega Beedrill around a balance team that can use a few changes.

Meet the Team:

Beedrill-Mega @ Beedrillite
Ability: Swarm
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Protect
- Poison Jab
- Knock Off
- U-turn

This a typical Mega Beedrill set with U-turn for Momentum, Knock Off for Utility and Poison Jab for a STAB move.

Sylveon @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hyper Voice
- Protect
- Wish
- Heal Bell

This helps Mega Beedrill by being able to special hits for it and heal the burns it might have. It is standard stall Sylveon and can take Knock Offs for the team
.

Quagsire @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Haze
- Scald
- Earthquake
- Recover

This stops all setup sweepers and can hit scalds to burn, and EQ to pick up kills on mons that are weakened and Haze to help pokemon that don't have Unaware. Recover to heal when it gets low.

Tentacruel @ Leftovers
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Acid Spray
- Rapid Spin
- Toxic Spikes
- Scald

Tentacruel is the spinner of choice as it can switch in on toxic and sponge hits. Liquid Ooze is to stop recovery moves, such as Drain Punch Conk or Giga drain mons. Acid Spray so it can do damage. T Spikes is always a good support move. And as I said before Scald is busted and after 1 acid spray you will do good damage.

Azelf @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psyshock
- Shadow Ball
- Flamethrower
- Energy Ball

Azelf is a great special wallbreaker and adds more offensive pressure. Psyshock to beat out special walls. S-Ball to the ghost types of the tier. Flamethrower to hit the grass and steel types well. E-Ball to do damage to Krook and other Rock and Ground types.

Conkeldurr @ Leftovers
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Mach Punch
- Facade
- Drain Punch
- Ice Punch

Guts Conk so something can take burns and toxics, leftovers to heal the damage. Mach Punch is great for picking of weaker mons. Facade does massive damage to psychic types and other types that resist fighting. Drain Punch is a great move to heal even more HP and do good damage. Ice Punch to hit some of the dragons of the tier and get Celebi on the switch.

If you have any tweaks to the team put them down below so I can make this team better.

Hey dude your team looks fine but it could use a few tweaks here and there;

  • First off you're lacking some stealth rocks, a very pivotal move in competitive mons. Worry not though! we can make an easy change in:
Azelf @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psyshock
- Shadow Ball ->Stealth Rock
- Flamethrower
- Energy Ball

  • This offers your team a method to breaking sashes, punishing switches, and harming top tier mons such as mega aero on switch in.

  • As for your sylveon set, the way youre running it friend you may as well switch to blissey. However I see what you were trying to get at here; you were lacking a way of dealing with fighting types but you also wanted a better dedicated sp.def wall. We can fix this issue by switching your Sylveon->Florges
Florges-White @ Leftovers
Ability: Flower Veil
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Wish
- Synthesis
- Moonblast
- Aromatherapy

  • Florges has similar defenses to sylveon but takes on sp.attacks just slightly better while keeping itself healthy with synthesis to avoid being roared out on the wish. Its also the perfect shao check that your team desires.

  • As for the quagsire you really don't want to be using haze let alone quagsire as a mon, its beaten by many of UU top sweepers without a need to any boosts you may as well put standard defensive pert on this slot and make your azelf nasty plot over rocks. Its up to you whether you take heed to my words or not.

Finally for the conkeldurr set, I am not sure where you were trying to take it but in order to make full use of its position id switch it to
Conkeldurr @ Leftovers
Ability: Guts
EVs: 248 HP / 16 Atk / 244 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Drain Punch
- Bulk Up
- Knock Off
- Mach Punch

  • This will allow you to put far more pressure on an opponent as well as offer you a win condition, krookodile check, and water punisher.

Gl with the team bro and I hope it works out for you.
