SM OU Shedinja arcanine

The names indicate threats they deal with. The idea is to lead sableye and keep rocks of the field then wallbreak with muk and zeraora. Fini's terrain helps out shedinja, muk and zera and makes it so shedinja deals with rotom. Biggest issues seem to be defensively: mimikyu, diance, pinsir, beedril (knock off) and offensively: grass and ground walls like lando, tangrowth

Mega Sableye: Almost always leads and can use protect to ensure mega. Its role is to assist shedinja by blocking hazards. The hazard setters it has problems with are meant for Fini to deal with. A defensive set with foul play lets sableye with a variety of setupsweepers and physical threats like Medicham, Mega Gyarados (and regular if you manage to protect the Z-move), Bisharp, Landorus, Scolipede and Dragonite.

Shedinja: Can stop a variety of common threats and mostly click will-o-wisp. Shadow sneak is there to support the team with priority and x-scissor as its strongest stab, allowing it to 2-hit slow tyranitars who think beat you. Heal block lets it beat Porygon-Z electric z move. It is also useful to allow shedinja to wallbreak sometimes. Shedinja typically stops Koko, Kingdra, Swampert, Manaphy, Xurkitree, Magearna, Lopunny, Latios, Beedril, Porygon, Bulu and Fini.

Tapu Fini: Responsible for switching in and defoging on hazard setters Heatran, Glisgor, Toxapex, Greninja, Clefable who are problems for Sableye. The terrain can be useful for shedinja/muk/zeraora but also a problem for the 2 will-o users. Fini also checks/counters Z move Victini, Blacephelon, Cloyster, Kommo-o, Hawlucha and Weavile.

Arcanine: This beautful pokemon is held back typically by its stealth rock weakness but in the prescence of sableye+fini it can come in at full HP and deal threats Charizard (both megas if using morning sun effectively and a little luck on rolls), Banded Victini, Mega Mawile, Volcarona, Kartana, Kyurem, Serperior and Mega Scizor.

Alolan Muk: This mon functions as one of the two wallbreaker partnering with zeraora. It was chosen because it also deal with some threats left to check like Lele, Mega Alakazam, Gengar, Zapdos, Manectric. It can also knock off when it is too early to set up, opening the door for zeraora sometimes by for example knocking Landorus scarf.

Zeraora: Brings the speed and wallbreaking the team was missing, and also functions as an electric switch in in case shedinja got surpise killed. This set has its problems but it should beat the typical stall teams of Sableye, Clefable, Toxapex, Skarmary etc . Note that a scald from toxapex does not break the substitute. Iron tail is amazing here beacuse it lets Zeraora revenge kill the biggest offensive threats to the team in mimikyu, Mega. Diance and tyranitar and it is also needed to beat the allready mentioned stall setup.

Welcome to Smogon! I'm locking your RMT for the time being as the forum rules require that you provide at least 3 lines of descriptions for each Pokemon to explain their roles. Please read the rules carefully and take a look at Team Showcase to see the level of detail we require. PM me with updated descriptions and I'll be happy to unlock this.

EDIT: Unlocked
