After taking a break for the holidays, it's time for another giveaway! As most of you probably know, Serperior finally got Contrary yesterday thanks to a Japanese event. We'll be giving away 80 Contrary Snivys over the GTS to celebrate!
Each Snivy comes knowing Leaf Storm, Glare, Mirror Coat, and Pursuit. The IVs of each of them are random, though generally there's at least two 31 or 30 IVs (this giveaway is mainly for the sake of giving participants the ability to breed for themselves). We also know that a number of you have already bred Snivys and have several contrary ones leftover. If you're feeling generous, you're welcome to join in and distribute some of yours yourself.
Here's how to participate:
-Every Gen 6 game can participate in this giveaway. X, Y, and ORAS will all work
-Catch a Magikarp if you don't have a spare already. You can find Magikarp 100% of the time fishing with an old rod off of Route 22 In XY and just about everywhere else with an Old Rod in Hoenn (You can find the old rod in Dewford Town).
-Connect to the GTS and Click "Deposit Pokemon"
-Select your Magikarp, then click "Deposit"
-Set the Pokemon you want in return as Snivy
--Note: If you have not seen Snivy in your national dex, you can type it in manually. Just scroll down to the bottom of the "Pokemon you want" list.
-Specify you want it to be Level 1 to 10
-Edit the message portion to to say "Snake in my Boot"
-Click "Deposit with these conditions"
After that, we'll give 80 random GTS offers Snivy! We only have one distributor this time around who will give updates on how many Snivy are left and announce when the giveaway is over. We recommend periodically reuploading your Magikarp to the GTS to push it to the front of the GTS query. Once every 3-5 minutes is recommended.
Each Snivy is a normally bred Snivy from Gen 6 and is fully legal.
