Sneasler's high Attack and great speed tier combined with its powerful dual stab combination and ability to wear down its checks with U-Turn and Poison Touch make it a premier Choice Scarf user on Fighting teams. Dire Claw and Gunk Shot both serve as Poison STAB, with Gunk Shot being stronger but less accurate, while Dire Claw makes up for its lower power with its perfect accuracy and higher chance of inflicting status due to Poison Touch. Lash Out allows Sneasler to hit Ghost-types such as Gholdengo that may otherwise wall it.
