Hi first time posting, I have an rmt, but also need help with suggestions for pokemon no6

Team so far:

I've had some good success with these guys, got to around 1350 on showdown, but every time I add a sixth poke I end up sliding down the ladder, what you guys think

I'd recommend using either a Smeargle or a Sableye. Below are the ones I use. Reasoning is in them as well

Smeargle @ Focus Sash
Ability: Moody
Level: 50
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dark Void
- Wide Guard
- Spiky Shield
- Follow Me
So Smeargle is fantastic as it has access to literally every single move and Moody. Moody is very happy-go-lucky, however it can be very good. Drake Void is... well... pretty self explanatory. Hits both, puts em to sleep, no more worries for a good 2+ turns. Essential for Smeargle. For Wide guard, it works like protect for both team members that only stops multiple target moves, like precipice blades, origin pulse and rock slide. Considering Groudon usually only runs precipice blades and eruption, it can be a good game changer. Spiky shield is pretty much a better protect. You can run King's Shield, however I find this is more useful. It is key as Smeargle without boosts is frail and need to rely on this to get stats. Follow Me is good for redirection especially with Xerneas and M-Salamence. You can also run knock off, as if you get taunt'd your pretty much in struggle land. Focus Sash is good as it allows Smeargle to actually take a hit


Sableye @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Prankster
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 100 Def / 156 SpD
Careful Nature
- Gravity
- Confuse Ray
- Quash
- Knock Off
Gravity is good as it increases the accuracy of moves and grounds flying type pokemon. It is usually good for Origin Pulse Kyogre (I would recommend replacing Water Spout, not as useful) and Primal Groudon. Seeing your team, you may want to run Will-o-Wisp or Toxic instead since most of your moves are 100% accurate. Confuse Ray is rage inducing for opponents and is the best confusion inducing move available. Comes in real handy against Groudon Primal. Quash makes it so that an opponent goes last. It seems "meh", however it pretty much allows slower pokemon that are powerful (e.g. Kyogre) to obliterate the enemy. Also good for stopping Geo-Xerneas. Knock Off is good for Mega Rayquaza and also good if you get Taunted.
