I have to ask. Is Toxic Boost found on wild Zangoose? There are zero friend safaris with zangoose but every site lists it as a hidden ability in X and Y. I feel thats crucial to mention if it is on wild Zangoose, like how Plusle/Minun have new abilities found in the wild and not in the Friend Safari.

Hidden Abilities are found in hordes sometimes, so you have to be lucky and kill those four sevipers without them slaughtering Zangoose and then hope it has Toxic Boost.

A good trick I've found to pick out Hidden Abilities is to use a pokemon with Entrainment.

But I thought Entrainment changed the target's Ability to the Pokémon that used Entrainment's Ability? As far as I know, it doesn't tell you what ability said target had. Trace is a good way to figure out what ability a Pokémon has, although Trace isn't a very widespread Ability.

Entrainment's ability change shows the original ability as it's changing it, in the same way as an ability activation is displayed. (So if the Pokemon had Effect Spore, it'd show Effect Spore, then replace it with the user's ability, displaying that too.) Trace is useless in a horde situation because it doesn't specify which Pokemon was Traced.

Note that Zangoose is one of the easier ones to determine. Just try poisoning it, its only other ability is Immunity. (As for killing the Sevipers, Ominous Wind should work seeing as Zangoose is immune.)

Sorry for being off-topic a bit, but someone surely would have had to respond to that anyway. ;p
