Pretty much like the one in Ubers DST, but only for XY!

Share your battles here with us. Make sure they're actually good, and not stuff like 6 Wurmples or OU beating Ubers. That includes, "Lol, look at the ladder" replays. This way, people will get a bit more clear vision of Ubers at its initial phase.

  • Don't post lousy games - This one might seem obvious but it still happens. If you're beating something like a Monotype team or Geomancy Xerneas, it isn't impressive or interesting, and I can promise I won't accept it. So please don't share a game against an opponent who clearly has 0 idea what they're doing.
  • Don't post haxy games - In a similar vein, if a game is very haxy or has a move where the implementation on PS is incorrect, please don't share it here. If the hax didn't affect the outcome of the game, still say why it didn't and point out that it happened when discussing the replay. But yeah no one wants to see you winning after getting 3 misses and a crit or something.
  • Don't post one-liners - We get it, the game was haxy. No need to post somethin like "lol such hax much luck" or whatever to reply, we're more than capable of viewing the match for ourselves and seeing if it's haxy. Before hitting post please think about whether your post serves any actual purpose or if it's just fluff or pc++ or something. If your post is deemed to be of this nature it will likely be deleted and potentially infracted if the problem persists (up to mod discretion though). The only time having one line is ok is if you're simply deciding to post a replay with a small description.
  • Do add a small description w/ your replay - It's nice that you al have so much to say when talking about your replays, but keep in mind that when they go into the OP the descriptions will be skimmed through. Thus, it would be helpful to include a short 1-2 sentence summary of the highlights of the game alongside your longer description. When making the description also keep it neutral (ex: "Mega Kangaskhan shows her potential" as opposed to "My Mega Kangaskhan shows her potential").
  • Do include your/the opponent's Smogon username if they're on an alt - Unless they ask to remain nameless, better to have the match titled Melee Mewtwo vs Jrp than like Melee Mewtwo vs turd. Note, this is not saying you can't post replays played on alts. Simply clarify who you are when posting it for the benefit of the viewers.
  • Do feel free to discuss a replay - If there was an element of a replay you watched that you really enjoyed, such as a particular play or a Pokemon selection, feel free to say it. In addition, if you think a replay was flawed, feel free to give some constructive criticism. Just make sure you're not just posting one-liners or tl;drs, since those stink up the thread.
  • Audiosurfer is a cute.

The foe's Groudon used Earthquake!
It's super effective! Aggron lost 56.1% of its health!

Things that are weak to Ground should not be taking LO Earthquake from Groudon that well. ._.
I was more sad about Mawile not tanking a -1 Ho-oh Sacred Fire than impressed by Aggron tanking LO Earthquake

EDIT: I see how this can be misconstrued since I used two different meanings of gay in btoh my posts --> Sticky Web is annoying/stupid good and Mawile is underwhelming

Hack vs me, both using Hack's team (I've only just started getting into how things work in gen 6).

Really close game, so it was nice. Also helps to show why Lum Berry is better than ever for Extremekiller Arceus.

Excuse some of the poor early game playing on my part, was my first time playing with that team myself and only like my 10th match playing gen 6.

Also, it turns out Hack did not misplay at the end, Silk Scarf Extremespeed outdamages Shadow Claw (although the difference is so small that really hoping for Shadow Claw to crit would be more productive).

Since some didn't understand the OP, replays in this thread are meant to reflect the current metagame. Not your personal ladder trolls or the shitty teams you find on it.

An extremely close and fun match between me and kebabe. I screwed up early game, losing my defoger and stealth rocks ended up going up on my side, bug Mega Kanga managed to help me recover midgame via abuse of priority and strong moves in general. In the end it quite literally came down to hax (a sort of unorthodox coin flip, I needed to not get paralyzed twice and the probability of that coming up was 1-(.75)^2, which is about .4375 sorta close to .5).

A fun match. Some sets were rather interesting like disable gengar and Choice Band ho-oh (which had a very humorous confrontation I may add X_X). There's a bit of hax in the match but it wasn't that out of the ordinary, and regardless it was a fun match. Mega Mewtwo Y is fast but ironically weak for its high Special Attack ;_;, and it greatly disappointed me with its complete lack of power :(, it just can't run the same strong 3 attacks + recover set that Mewtwo could, but it was sorta decent at cleaning up.

Surprise MMX? You had that battle at team preview. Ferrothorn sucks and Wobbuffet is rather pointless without a frail set up sweeper.
1. He had no clue whether that was a MMX, a MMY, or a regular Mewtwo.
2 Ferrothorn is a rather good pokemon in Ubers, don't say that.
3. Wobbufett proved to be great in this battle.

1. Didn't matter what mewtwo form it was in that match. Unless something happened that I'm unaware of, it was blatantly obvious that every mewtwo would have a fight move which would hit ekiller for SE damage. Which was all it did the whole match.
2. It's main role as a hazard setter is obsolete considering all defoggers bar Latis really don't give a fuck about it and can easily cripple it with WoM and then defog. Not to mention it became a lot worse as a defensive pivot thanks to losing two resistances.

3. Wobb did shit, his opponent was unable to utilize those free turns that jimmy stupidly kept giving him (something's wrong if wobb managed to encore you 4+ times into a support move in a single game.)

1. Pretty sure it did matter as STAB SE hit from MMX took Arceus into a range where two rounds of LO recoil took it down. A non-STAB SE hit from any of the other Mewtwo forms will not have accomplished this.

2. No comments.

3. It's Wobbufett... Anyway, I didn't really care about it encoring me into a support move since I wasn't threatened by any of his set-up sweepers.
