Ultra Space Variants, V2 (Slate: Johto Starters)

Status
Not open for further replies.
AName: UV-01 Bliss (Incineroar) (Ultra Variant is UV)
New Stats: 71/2/61/197/137/101 (BST: 569)
New Typing: Fairy
Added Moves: Moonblast, Relic Song, Play Nice, Echoed Voice, Dazzling Gleam, Draining Kiss, Charm, Captivate, Wish, Moonlight, Sweet Kiss, Heal Bell, Helping Hand, Tickle, Sing, Amnesia, After You, Aromatic Mist, Aromatherapy, Heal Pulse, Lovely Kiss, Purify (Why is this a Poison move?), Thunder Wave, Aura Sphere, Calm Mind

All Fire and Dark moves removed, barring Sunny Day
All physical moves removed

Abilities: Unaware/Klutz (Pixilate)
Appearance/Flavor: The planet Incineroar landed on contained a potent and distinct odor that contains heavy amounts of feminine pheromones unlike anything we know, and combined with the Ultra Wormhole mutated Incineroar into dull-minded but blissful creatures who are similar to certain kinds of people in our world (guess in VM and get an invisible cookie). Ultra Incineroar live in a utopian society filled with feminine and cutesy symbols everywhere and are extremely peaceful as of a result. However, due to their airheaded nature, they aren't very bright and are very clumsy. However, they are the most feminine creatures you'll ever meet! They have pink and white fur (the white being similar to shiny normal Incineroar), wear something similar to a purple skirt and have a cheery face with curly pink hair.

Possible moveset(s):

Jennifer (Incineroar-Ultra) @ Life Orb
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 SpAtk / 252 Spe / 4 SpDef
Modest/Timid Nature
Moves:
- Calm Mind
- Relic Song
- Moonblast / Moonlight / Lovely Kiss
- Focus Blast / Aura Sphere / Moonlight / Lovely Kiss

This set is the main offensive set to use for Ultra Incineroar. Calm Mind is the staple of this set, allowing IU to increase its already insane Special Attack and Special Defense. Relic Song is the best move to use in order to take advantage of Pixilate, as it has a 10% to induce sleep. Moonblast is the other STAB option to use, as it can lower Special Attack and also has a little bit of more base power. If you want recovery, you can use Moonlight instead. If you wish to have a much better chance to induce sleep, Lovely Kiss is the way to go. Finally, you can use Focus Blast for coverage to deal with opposing Steel types. If you want more accuracy, then you can use Aura Sphere.

Jennifer (Incineroar-Ultra) @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpAtk / 252 SpDef
Calm Nature
Moves:
- Amnesia
- Relic Song / Moonblast
- Moonlight
- Thunder Wave / Toxic / Lovely Kiss

This is the main defensive set to run. Amnesia allows you to quickly become an even crazier Special Wall. Relic Song and Moonblast is so that IU isn't completely Taunt bait. Moonlight is for recovery. Thunder Wave is for speed control, Toxic is for stalling things out, and Lovely Kiss can be used to more easily put things to sleep.

I'm reserving Steel Primarina. Decidueye fell apart and Corruption is much better imo.
Name: Decidueye (UV-724: SAND DEVIL)
New Stats: 83/147/31/137/31/141 (BST: 570)
New Typing: Ground/Flying
Added Moves: All Ground moves (not Spikes), Hurricane, Air Slash
Abilities: Long Reach/Compound Eyes (Quicksand*)
Quicksand: Gives +1 priority to Ground moves (Clone of ORIGINAL Gale Wings)
Appearance/Flavor: When the Ultra Space Project resumed after the aggressive subjects were quarantined (Refrencing the shut down of the first thread), Aether scientists decided to start fresh. They decided on, well, Decidueye! When the subject entered the wormhole, it landed on a desert planet. Somehow, it started it's will to fly again, as well as the ability to control the ground beneath it. It looks like regular Decidueye, but with the grass parts replaced with flowing sand and the arms as actual wings, with humanoid arms holding an bow and arrow. It also has advanced lens over it's eyes to have almost perfect accuracy. When it uses Thousand Arrows, it creates giant crossbows from the ground below.
Competitive niche: Literally Pheromosa, but with a better typing, useful abilities, higher Attack and HP, and an much better movepool in trade for some coverage and Speed. Basically, I just want an replacement for Pheromosa after that thing has been banned. It was designed to be like Pheromosa, but with some more useful tools and the ability to set Sand. I hope it ain't too broken. Also Compound Eyes Hurricane should have more users since the devil's butterfly is probably the only one.

Name: Incineroar (UV-727: DESPAIR)
New Stats: 97/127/103/103/97/43 (BST: 570)
New Typing: Dark/Steel
Added Moves: Beat Up, Feint Attack, Flatter, Hone Claws, Knock Off, Memento, Night Slash, Payback, Punishment, Sucker Punch, Guillotine, Horn Drill, Switcheroo, Bullet Punch, Flash Cannon, Autotomize, Gyro Ball, Gear Grind, Shift Gear, Iron Tail, Doom Desire, Metal Claw, Meteor Mash, Crush Claw, Dual Chop, Explosion, Foul Play, Ice Fang, Thunder Fang, Psychic Fangs, Icicle Spear, X-Scissor, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, Fire Punch, Laser Focus
Abilities: Stare of Despair*/Aftermath (Technician)
Stare of Despair: Lowers targets stats by 1 when switched in. (Clone of Intimidate)
Appearance/Flavor: Incineroar, unlike Decidueye, was brought without a purpose. Aether scientists were just slacking off and for some reason put drinks in Ultra Space. When they told their servant Incineroar (I know they are trying to save Pokemon, but its a bit more in question other than Lusamine freezing her Pokemon.) to get the drinks, it stumbled off into an uncharted planet. However, what made it unique from other planets was it was almost exactly like Earth, with it landing in [CLASSIFIED], Japan. However, it seems to have been ruined to the brim except for a tall high school. When it came in, it somehow altered its appearence dramatically. The fire belt it had is gone, the fire is now moved to inside of its right eye, where it became . The left side becomes like its shiny, while the belly becomes white and the right side inverts colors. It also became shorter by 2 feet. This new Incineroar, dubbed "Monoroar" treated as a part of "Team Pokeronpa", where it became the replacement after the series was revived. Now the Monoroar is the leader of annual killing games with his 5 Monokittens: Litscram, Litcute, Litrobo, Litkuma, and the leader, Litdream.
Competitive niche: Yup, its Monokuma in Pokemon form (sorta). I will try to do an actual one when Ursaring or Bewear come along, but this will do. Its gimmick is mostly to be a bulky Technician abuser with Bullet Punch and Gear Grind, as well as well rounded coverage and Knock Off. However, it can run actual bulky sets due to its access to Bulk Up and decent defensive typing, as well as Stare of Despair to boost it further, or Aftermath to give that opponent a punishment. But, while he can't be destroyed by being crushed with a rock, a Fighting type will be enough to destroy it. Its also slow and has average bulk, though Shift Gear also exists, giving it an pretty good boost. But in all ways, you might get despair from fighting it and force itself to switch out. (I love Danganronpa.)

Name: Primarina (UV-730: FREEZER BURN)
New Stats: 89/31/113/149/71/127 (BST: 570)
New Typing: Fire/Ice
Added Moves: All other Fire, Ice, Psychic, Ghost, and Fairy moves, as well as Nasty Plot.
Abilities: No Guard/Water Absorb (Firelight Zero*)
Firelight Zero: Takes neutral damage from Super Effective moves and Stealth Rock, Double the power of Fire and Ice moves, and is immune to Poison. Clone of Water Bubble.
Appearance/Flavor: Aether scientists had found great success with its 2 first experiments. However, they forgot about the mermaid, Primarina, for it, so they decided to throw her into there. At some point, she landed through a freezer, causing here to be freezing and burning in sync. Therefore, she has full cantrol over freezing and fire. The tail is frozen, while the body is on fire. Its seen panicking in any of its movements, as well as falling over when fainted.
Competitive niche: Um, I don't know what to say. It can be an sweeper, wall with bad typing, or most effectively, a killer. With Firelight Zero, it becomes a god. It has no weaknesses, an powerful arsenal of coverage, and high Special Attack. So, WELCOME TO YOUR DOOM!
Name: (Primarina) UB-730: Mist
New Stats: 101/79/83/97/127/83 (BST: 570)
New Typing: Ghost/Fairy
Added Moves: Moonlight, Draining Kiss, Confuse Ray, Shadow Sneak, Curse, Dark Pulse, Topsy-Turvy, Taunt, Trick, Calm Mind, Power Trick, Heal Bell, Boomburst, Roar
Removed Moves: All Water-type moves
Abilities: Illusion/Liquid Voice
Appearance/Flavor: Unable to survive the harsh environment of Ultra Space on it's own, a select few Primarina were able to dehydrate themselves, using the mist to obscure it's body and hide itself. However, this took a serious toll on their bodies, and they eventually withered away. Their true form is only a dark, immaterial shadow in the shape Primarina once was. Instead, this beast prefers to disguise itself as other pokemon to get the job done.
Competitive niche: While it's stats may look mediocre, UB-730 has great defencive and supportive utility. Ghost/Fairy typing gives a useful three immunities, allowing it to earn free turns against foes who don't see through it's disguise. With a usable speed and a decent set of support moves, including Taunt, Trick, Encore, Heal Bell, Lovely Kiss, and Topsy Turvy, UB-730 can surprise walls and set up sweepers to attempt to cripple them. With reliable recovery and good special bulk, UB-730 can serve as a check to special attackers as well. If you want, you could even run an offencive set with Liquid Voice Boomburst as a powerful coverage option, and Calm Mind as a way to patch up it's average special attack. Despite it's strengths and versatility, UB-730's stats leave it as passive without a boosting move or item.

UB-730 @ Leftovers
Ability: Illusion
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpDef / 4 Def
Calm Nature
Moves:
- Moonblast
- Moonlight
- Heal Bell/Taunt/Topsy-Turvy/Toxic/Encore
- Heal Bell/Taunt/Topsy-Turvy/Toxic/Encore

Typical bulky set, uses Moonblast to not be taunt bait and Moonlight for recovery. The other two moves provide valuable surprise support to help your team or cripple a foe.

UB-730 @ Choice Specs
Ability: Illusion
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpAtk / 4 Speed
Modest Nature
Moves:
- Moonblast
- Shadow Ball
- Trick
- Boomburst/Energy Ball/Psyshock/Ice Beam

A Choice Specs set allows for a surprising amount of special power to try to revenge kill foes, and it has the ability to use Trick to cripple a wall or supportive pokemon. The last slot is pretty customizable, and can contain whatever coverage (or even status) move you think best fits your team.

Edit: Minor stat and moveset nerfs.

Name: (Incineroar) UB-727: Swamp
New Stats: 181/89/83/127/59/31 (BST: 570)
New Typing: Ground/Fighting
Added Moves: Mud Shot, Mud Sport, Magnitude, Earth Power, Spikes, Drain Punch, Close Combat, Focus Blast, Vaccum Wave, Circle Throw, Scald, Muddy Water, Hydro Pump, Aqua Tail, Aqua Ring, Laser Focus, Work Up
Removed Moves: All fire-type moves, all dark type moves minus Throat Chop, Dark Pulse, and Snarl.
Abilities: Mental Focus (Compoundeyes clone)/Intimidate
Appearance/Flavor: The few Incineroar sent to Ultra Space ended up trapped for years within a swampy bog. These Incineroar learned to fuse with the terrain, caking their bodies with muddy armor. They stand still for days on end, honing their own inner power, mental focus, and control over nature. Unlike normal Incineroar, their bodies are a dark brown color and their bodies are cool to the touch.
Competitive niche: UB-727's main niche is being one of few pokemon that can attack with powerful Ground and Fighting type special attacks. With it's solid bulk, especially on the physical side, and access to Mental Focus to boost Focus Blast's accuracy to usable levels, UB-727 makes a powerful tank or wallbreaker. In addition, it has the option to use water moves like Scald and Hydro Pump to round out it's coverage options, as well as the ability to set Spikes for utility purposes. It also has access to a slow U-Turn, Intimidate as an alternative ability for bulky sets, and can run a variety of different items and sets Despite this, Ground/Fighting provides many easily exploitable weaknesses to UB-727, and it's special defense, speed and attack stats leave much to be desired. It also has no method of boosting special attack outside the mediocre Work Up, and lacks a form of reliable recovery.

UB-727 @ Life Orb
Ability: Mental Focus
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 Def
Quiet Nature
Moves:
- Focus Blast
- Earth Power
- Hydro Pump
- Spikes/U-Turn

Offencive wallbreaker set, can do massive damage with it's great coverage, maximum investment, and a Life Orb. Choice Specs can be ran instead, but this set also enables utility as an offencive spiker or a slow U-turn. Sweeps in Trick Room.

UB-727 @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Brave Nature
Moves:
- Bulk Up
- Drain Punch
- Earthquake
- U-Turn

Despite it's lower physical attack, UB-727 can still run a Bulk Up set and gain massive physical bulk. Drain Punch provides greater longevity, while Earthquake provides powerful STAB. U-Turn lets it work as a bulky pivot, alongside the effect of Intimidate.

Name:
UV-724 ᏟᎾᏒᏒuᏢᏆᎥᎾᏁ (Decidueye)
New Stats: 53 / 149 / 103 / 73 / 89 / 103 (BST: 570)
New Typing: Poison/Ghost
Added Moves (24): Poison Moves (8; Poison Jab, Acid Armor, Belch, Poison Fang, Sludge Bomb, Poison Tail, Venoshock, Toxic Spikes), Self-Sacrificing Moves (5; Double-Edge, Head Smash, Submission, Wild Charge, Destiny Bond) Other (10; Zen Headbutt, Psybeam, Psychic Fangs, Spikes, Phantom Force, Play Rough, Teeter Dance, Mind Reader, Minimize, Thrash, Hone Claws)
Removed Moves (22): All Grass moves except Grass Knot (8), All Flying moves except Brave Bird/Peck (5), Other (9; False Swipe, Foresight, Nature Power, Steel Wing, Work Up, Reflect, Light Screen, Low Sweep, Safeguard)
Abilities: Intimidate / Reckless
Appearance/Flavor: When standard flocks of Decidueye failed to protect themselves from the massive density of hostiles in their portion of Ultra Space, concerns were raised as to the experiment's viability. When the still-surviving subjects were collected, however, these objects were refuted... in part. Shambling beings returned to the world we know, their barely organic bodies were blanketed in festering, irradiated, varyingly purple matter accrued in Ultra Space. The returning explorers preened their skeletal, vestigal wings to the point of obsession and violently lashed out at any potential intrusion. Leading scientists question if they show symptoms of insanity due to the environmental/survival stress they endured, or intentionally passed themselves off as sickly and psychotic to make them less attractive prey. Regardless, survive they did.
Competitive Thoughts: UV-Corruption boasts considerable advantages, particularly its improved offense/speed and more pointed movepool. The costs are considerable, though, as the often unreliable and self-sacrificing nature of its offense as well as a lack of reliable recovery/Defog robs it of versatility and staying power it had previously. While its Speed is definitely improved, it still isnt quite enough to outpace much of standard play. It is doubtlessly a fearsome breaker with support ability to complement the power.

Sample Sets:

All Out Attacker
Decidueye @ Choice Band / Choice Scarf / Life Orb
Ability: Reckless / Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Spirit Shackle
- Submission
- Head Smash / Grass Knot
- U-Turn / Poison Jab

Very powerful offensive mon with great STAB (spirit shackle crushes 2hkod mons) and coverage/U-Turn. Intimidate is usable to take advantage of the switches you will force and create via U-Turn, especially if you are using Grass Knot over Head Smash, but Reckless will likely be standard.
Some calcs:
252 Atk Choice Band Reckless Decidueye Submission vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Umbreon: 318-376 (80.7 - 95.4%)
252 Atk Choice Band Decidueye Spirit Shackle vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Slowbro-Mega: 204-242 (51.9 - 61.5%)
252 Atk Choice Band Reckless Decidueye Head Smash vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Toxapex: 174-205 (57.2 - 67.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Black Sludge recovery

Specialized Breaker
Decidueye @ Life Orb / Decidium Z
Ability: Intimidate / Reckless
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
- Swords Dance
- Spirit Shackle
- Play Rough / Submission
- Substitute / Double-Edge

Trap susceptible opponents, set Sub on them (thanks Normal/Fighting immunities!), and smash all the team. Spirit Shackle doesn't need much help besides a way to hit Normals/Darks, so Play Rough is chosen as a more reliable and less recoil-y option. This makes Intimidate a logical choice, further widening your setup opportunities. Reckless setup is fine too, but Double Edge beats out Head Smash for reliability and neutral coverage while proving far from weak. After one SD, you're like CB but more reliable and more powerful.

Supporter
Decidueye @ Focus Sash / Black Sludge
-Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Spe
- Spikes / Toxic Spikes
- Toxic / Destiny Bond / Toxic Spikes
- Spirit Shackle
- U-Turn

Set up your Intimidate and hazard(s) of choice, and pivot out when your job is done to live another day. Spirit Shackle can lead to hilarious spikestack if you play your cards right. Notably, you conveniently spinblock yourself. Toxic works great with Shackle to break down bulky mons, but Dbond is great support in its own right.

Name:
UB-370 : Abyss
New Stats: 79 / 127 / 53 / 107 / 131 / 73 [BST 570]
New Typing:

Added Moves:
Charge, Charge Beam, Discharge, Eerie Impulse, Magnet Rise, Shock Wave, Spark, Thunder, Thunder Fang, Thunder Shock, Thunder Wave, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Wild Charge, Zap Cannon, Assurance, Beat Up, Bite, Brutal Swing, Crunch, Dark Pulse, Embargo, Feint Attack, Fake Tears, Flatter, Foul Play, Knock Off, Memento, Nasty Plot, Punishment, Pursuit, Quash, Snarl, Snatch, Sucker Punch, Switcheroo, Taunt, Thief, Torment, Ice Fang, Flash, Quick Attack, Recover, Flash Cannon, Dive, Curse, Superpower
Removed Moves: Aromatic Mist, Misty Terrain, Moonblast, Blizzard, Hail, Aqua Ring, Bubble Beam, Hydro Cannon, Hydro Pump, Scald, Sparkling Aria, Water Gun, Water Pledge
Abilities: Illuminate / Swift Swim / Galvanize (HA)
Appearance / Reasoning: Ultra Space has turned the performer of the sea into a deadly deep-sea hunter. The way it hunts is similar to that of an angler fish - it uses the bright, pink lights on its body to lure in prey before going in for the kill. The spike on its body have become charged with electricity, and it trades its aquatic nature for one that is more menacing. Some UB-370 seem to be overcharged with electricity, using full-on force to kill its prey rather than luring them in with bright lights. Either way, the sea is no longer safe thanks to these monsters.

Type: Grass/Dark
Ability: Skill Link
Removed Moves: Baton Pass
Added Moves: Bullet Seed, Focus Blast, Beak Blast, Rock Blast, Pin Missile, Spike Cannon, Seed Bomb, Dark Pulse, Hyper Beam, Flash Cannon, Water Shuriken, Night Slash
Description: Prey on the planet where Decidueye was deposited mainly consisted of large arthropods, which were extremely difficult (though not impossible) to bring down with arrows alone on account of their tough shells. To hunt them, Decidueye evolved a gunlike beak, similar to our world's Toucannon, to blast through their hard exoskeletons. Its talent for accuracy has served it well, as it can either puncture arthropods' shells with the powerful shots from its beak or bring them down with a well-placed arrow shot to a joint or gap in the armor. It can even fire compressed blasts of water from its beak in the absence of other ammunition.
Competitive Analysis: Great offenses, an impressive movepool and access to many multi-hit moves and Skill Link make Decidueye a great wallbreaker or sweeper, and even moreso on a Trick Room team.

UB-727 Face (Incineroar)
Base Stats: 83/131/83/59/131/83 (570)
Type: Fire/Fighting
Ability: Guts
Removed Moves: Fury Swipes, Fake Out, Scary Face, Outrage, Revenge, all Dark-type moves except Darkest Lariat
Added Moves: Heat Crash, Flying Press, Circle Throw, Storm Throw, Dynamic Punch, Slam
Description: Incineroar entered a brutal post-apocalyptic world where fighting tournaments were held for status and survival. This would have suited it well, but its personality was unscrupulous and the rules of the matches were strictly enforced. As a result, Incineroar from Ultra Space are significantly more fair and less underhanded than their base form, while still just as adept at drawing cheers from a crowd; however, it will still use its old underhanded tactics if it's in a pinch.
Competitive Analysis: With moves like Darkest Lariat, Circle Throw, Storm Throw, Body Slam, Flare Blitz and Flying Press, this Pokémon is heavily geared towards physical attacks, and with respectable special bulk, a specially tanky Assault Vest tank could also work. Flame Charge allows you to boost your Speed even while wearing the Assault Vest.

Sample Movesets:
Bulky Physical Attacker
Incineroar-UB @ Leftovers/Assault Vest

UB-730 Siren (Primarina)
Base Stats: 83/59/131/131/83/83 (570)
Type: Water/Psychic
Ability: Riptide (Prevents Pokémon that are not Water-type or Ghost-type from switching out)
Removed Moves: Aromatic Mist, Perish Song (not this time fam)
Added Moves: Synchronoise, Whirlpool, Psyshock, Will-O'-Wisp
Description: Primarina was deposited on a planet almost entirely covered by water and populated by extremely fast-swimming creatures which it could not catch using speed alone. Thus, it developed the ability to read the minds of its prey, lure it in by singing about the prey's deepest desire, and trap the prey in whirlpools to eat it.
Competitive Analysis: Primarina is an excellent switch-in to Pokémon who have problems taking it out. It can trap things that could threaten the rest of the team, especially Fire-types, and take them out or use Encore to lock them into something that you can switch another Pokémon into. Watch out for Thunderbolt, though.

Sample Movesets:

New Stats: 97/67/101/89/47/127
New Typing: Rock/Fire
Added Moves: Lava Plume, Power Gem, Earth Power, Ancient Power, Rock Polish, Flame Charge, Rock Blast
(All Water-Type moves but Scald are removed)
Abilities: Lava Bubble (Solid Rock)

Lava Bubble - Clone of Water Bubble for Fire moves instead
Appearance: Araquanids inhabit the A sector of the planet. Their bubbles are now made of lave while it's exosqueleton became solidified, dense magma. The reason to this is due to when ariving in Planet 1's A sector, it's bubble evaporated. With a mutation happening due to weird chemical reactions on it's body with the envyroment, it became the monster it is now. It also has double the size of a normal Araquanid, can walk on Lava and has quintuple the weight.
Possible moveset(s): UV Araquinid has a good offensive typing and ability, as well as a good speed tier. However the lack of good coverage and poor defensive typing, as well as bad Sp. Def balances it out.

UV-778 Plasma (Mimikyu)
Base Stats: 71/89/61/151/61/137 (570)
Type: Electric/Ghost
Abilities: Volt Absorb/Electric Surge/Huge Power (HA)
Removed Moves: Wood Hammer, Baby-Doll Eyes, Charm, Play Rough, Copycat, Leech Life, X-Scissor
Added Moves: Charge, Discharge, Spark, Wild Charge, Fusion Bolt, Thunder Shock, Zing Zap, Volt Switch, Parabolic Charge, Thunder Punch, Spectral Thief, Brick Break, Dual Chop, Hammer Arm, Power-Up Punch, Rock Smash, Superpower, Mach Punch, Focus Punch, Focus Blast, Dynamic Punch, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, Throat Chop, Nasty Plot, Knock Off, Flash Cannon, Bone Rush, Heat Wave, Zen Headbutt
Description: On this planet, dubbed "Orbos", there are natural electric geysers and generators throughout the entire surface. When it landed, it didn't seen to be any reason to have a disguise, so it revealed its true self. However, among doing that, it decided to head for the generators for food. This had charged it with so much electricity, it has developed plasma. It looks like a grey ball with the 2 tiny eyes, but with one arm being a fist made of plasma and a tazer on the other. It also has an electric barrier around it.
Competitive Analysis: A tricky one, its a fast special attacked with high speed and power, decent coverage, and a nice set of abilities. However, it can also go Physical with Huge Power and the large selection of moves it has. However, it has poor defences, meaning it has to die to priority, but is also thankfully immune to 3 types if it has Volt Absorb.

Added Moves: Dig, Earth Power, Thousand Waves, Magnitude, Mud Bomb, High Horsepower, Thunder Fang, Ice Fang, Fire Fang, Charge, Charge Beam, Electric Terrain, Nuzzle, Parabolic Charge, Spark, Wild Charge, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Thunder Wave, Volt Switch, Poison Fang, Gunk Shot, Metal Claw, Cross Chop, Shadow Claw, Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Flamethrower, Shadow Ball, Seed Bomb, Play Rough, Superpower, Ice Beam, Psychic Fangs, Swords Dance, Nasty Plot, Calm Mind
Description: The Gumshoos on this planet is a type more adapted to digging for the natural electricity for a food source, rather than relining on Ratattas. They are mostly the same, except their eyes being more like Yungoos', and the yellow fur being a bit more spiky. They also have taken a note from old rodents and adopted similar moves. It has also gotten a lot more aggressive, therefore focusing on becoming as fast as an Electrode.
Competitive Analysis: Gumshoos, but better! Since it's abilities are all great, I decided to keep them. Strong Jaw becomes a lot more useful with all the new tools it gets. It also has a second STAB to abuse Adaptability with! However, Stakeout is still a godsend ability, especially with the power to target switch-ins. Also, the little bugger gained a lot of speed, coverage, and power, mostly to abuse the new coverage it gets. However, the drawback here is poor defenses and meh offensives, especially compared to some variants in this world.

UV-752 Voltic (Araquanid)
Base Stats: 71/113/101/113/131/41 (570)
Type: Electric/Bug
Abilities: Volt Bubble*/Volt Absorb (HA)
Volt Bubble: Halves the power of Fire-type moves, doubles the power of Electric-type moves, and is immune to Burn.
Removed Moves: Soak, Bubble, Bubble Beam, Aqua Ring, Liquidation, Scald, Frost Breath, Blizzard, Surf, Waterfall, Aurora Beam
Added Moves: Charge, Charge Beam, Discharge, Electric Terrain, Electroweb, Ion Deluge, Parabolic Charge, Shock Wave, Spark, Thunder, Thunder Fang, Thunder Shock, Thunder Wave, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Zing Zap, Zap Cannon, Fell Stinger, Bug Bite, Fury Cutter, U-Turn, Dual Chop, Cross Chop, Ice Fang, Sludge Bomb, Shadow Ball, Energy Ball, Quick Guard, Rapid Spin, Quiver Dance, Bug Buzz, Signal Beam
Description: Araquanids have adapted with camoflauge to blend into the generators. They now have an thin, electric bubble around it's head and top of the legs and are yellow.. They mostly prey on Mimikyus, as when they get energy, they strike and suck their internal energy out. However, this is not as lucky, as it may backfire and the Mimikyu may punch it. It still has a resistence to Fire, though.
Competitive Analysis: A nice wall, sorta. It has a bad weakness to Rocks, but it can spin them away thankfully. It also has excellent defences and a slow U-Turn. It can also perform Quiver Dance with decent success, with the good bulk and nice movepool, with also something called VOLT BUBBLE! This eliminates its weakness to Fire, burns, and doubles all Electric moves. Therefore, good luck trying to survive a Thunderbolt or even a Thunder (Zap Cannon sucks) from this!

UV-398 Zeus (Staraptor)
Base Stats: 83/151/47/137/43/109 (570)
Type: Electric/Flying
Abilities: Magic Guard/Quick Jolt*/Reckless (HA)
Quick Jolt: Gives +1 to Electric moves. Clone of Gen 6 Gale Wings.
Added Moves: Earthquake, All Electric and Psychic Moves, Bulldoze, Hurricane, Flare Blitz, Bulk Up.
Description: Staraptor is a buff bird who wields thunderbolts. Basically a Greek God.
Competitive Analysis: Well, it has a ton of moves, nice speed tier, and high offensives, so its nice. However, its defences stuck. Nuff said.

Here you go, my friend. Yeah, all of them are Electric types, but that's the theme of my vision "Orbos". Also, should we vote for the planet themes instead of individual ones since it would be awkward to have some from completely different areas.

A few suggestions on how to improve this Pet Mod.

1. Get coding started ASAP.

This is because I don't think we want to wait until we have a crap ton of UVs before we start coding.

2. Artwork.

Get this started too. Not as needed but still.

3. Ultra Variant Moves..?

This is just an idea to transform signature or iconic moves on a Pokémon into an Ultra Move to be given to the corresponding UV. Based off of Fusion Moves. If you end up doing this? I would like to run it, as I have been around since the beginning.

Also, could you start the archive up? Thanks. Please tell me your thoughts transwiththeplans

Keeping with my way of doing things from the old version with Gardevoir-Singularity, most of these are only going to change a single type and have one radical change to the stats but otherwise be similar.

Name: Araquanid
New Stats: 89/113/131/67/43/127 (570)
New Typing: Ice/Bug
Added Moves: Icicle Crash, Power Gem, U-turn
Abilities: Beast Boost / Brutal Cold (Ice-typed Steelworker clone)
Appearance: Its joints and head are, instead of bubbles, surrounded by thick, opaque ice with various crystals from Ultra Space embedded in it. This obviously obscures its eyes... if it even has any, anyway. Its feet are also covered in ice, allowing it to slide around at high speeds even after it stops running.
Possible moveset(s):
Araquanid-Ultra @ Life Orb
Ability: Brutal Cold
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Lunge / Leech Life
- Liquidation
- U-turn
Is this lore?: As it turns out, Ultra Space can be very cold in places, just like normal outer space. Citation needed. This resulted in Araquanid freezing over. It gathered crystals from Ultra Space to further power itself up before it fully froze, allowing it to actually be more than just a frozen bug.
Competitive Stuff: A physical sweepyman. Its attack stat is just enough to make its Ice attacks a little more powerful than normal Araquanid's Water moves while allowing it to actually use moves of other types to actual effect.

Name: Staraptor
New Stats: 83/167/79/131/67/43
New Typing: Normal/Fighting
Added Moves: Brick Break, Jump Kick, High Jump Kick, Bulk Up, Focus Blast, Aura Sphere, Hyper Voice
Abilities: Beast Boost / Scrappy
Appearance: Incredibly stout and muscular. Its legs are reinforced with a large amount of crystal. Its wings are no longer capable of flight, but instead are swung with incredible force.
Possible moveset(s):
Staraptor-Ultra @ Leftovers
Ability: Scrappy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Return / Double Edge
- High Jump Kick
- Roost
- Bulk Up
Yes, this is lore: With a thin atmosphere and strong gravity, actually flying became impossible. To compensate, Staraptor made some gains. While on its original planet it could hardly get inches off the ground, that same force both on its current home and on Earth grants it quite a bit of height.
Competitive Stuff: Breaks stuff hard, and has incredible STAB coverage. However, its bulk, while decent, is nothing to write home about, and it's painfully slow. Like, practically immobile slow.

Um, why does Staraptor have 131 special attack. It dosen't have any special moves to take advantage. Maybe switch it with HP?

alephgalactus

Banned deucer.
I did some worldbuilding!
Planet 1 orbits a red dwarf star and is tidally locked to it—one side of the planet always faces towards the star, and one side always faces away from it. This strange property causes some of the most extreme temperatures of any planet in Ultra Space, with the "light side" reaching temperatures of up to 2,000 degrees Celsius and the "dark side" reaching -230 degrees Celsius. The atmosphere is breathable, but is extremely chemically volatile in hotter areas and is in a liquid or solid state in colder areas. The planet is divided into five sectors, which are separated by five mountain ranges; these mountains prevent most hot or cold air from traveling from one sector to another.

Sector A, also referred to as the Molten Sector, is the sector closest to the star. Most of the sector is a sea of molten lava, but islands do exist, made out of a material dubbed "Axelite" (HfN0.38C0.51), an alloy of hafnium, carbon and nitrogen whose melting point is too high to measure. The sector is also constantly bombarded with stellar radiation, making it nearly uninhabitable. Temperatures here can climb upwards of 2,000 degrees Celsius.

Sector B, or the Desert Sector, is slightly farther from the star than Sector A. It consists entirely of one enormous desert, baked dry from the perpetual heat of its star but far enough away that stellar radiation isn't a problem. The huge mountain range separating Sector B from Sector C prevents any rainfall from reaching the desert. Temperatures in this sector range from over 500 degrees Celsius near Sector A to a mere 60 Celsius near Sector C.

Sector C, also called the Temperate Sector, is a relatively narrow band around the planet which is just far enough from the star to be habitable to a wide variety of life. The mountain ranges separating it from other sectors allow enough air in to give this sector a variety of temperatures similar to Earth's, with temperatures reaching 45 degrees Celsius closest to Sector B and -20 Celsius closest to Sector D. The sector is composed mainly of a large ocean dotted with islands. The climate ranges from deserts, rainforests and tropical islands near Sector B to taigas, tundras and huge glaciers near Sector D. This sector plays host to most of the lifeforms that inhabit Planet 1.

Sector D, also known as the Ice Sector, is a frozen wasteland with temperatures ranging from -30 to -180 degrees Celsius. This sector is covered in a layer of permafrost, made from the water that flowed through gaps in the mountain range between Sectors C and D. Said mountain range is the smallest of all the planet's ranges, allowing clouds from Sector C to travel into Sector D. As a result, and because of the strong winds that blow from Sector C, Sector D is regularly hit with fierce blizzards.

Sector E, or the Dark Sector, is the farthest sector from the planet's star. It consists of a large mass of solid air in its center, surrounded by liquid air closer to Sector D. Due to its distance from the star, it is pitch-black; any starlight is swallowed by the thick mist covering the sector, made from gaseous air condensing into liquid. Temperatures range from -200 degrees Celsius to -230 degrees Celsius.

UB-778 Shadow (Mimikyu)
Base Stats: 97/127/53/103/53/137 (570)
Type: Ghost/Dark
Ability: Intimidate (HA: Tough Claws)
Removed Moves: Charm, Baby-Doll Eyes
Added Moves: Knock Off, Hypnosis
Description: The Ultra Space variant of Mimikyu has made its home in Sector E. Since almost no lifeform can survive there, and no light from the planet's star reaches it, Mimikyu had no need for its cloth either to protect it from sunlight or to disguise itself as Pikachu, so it discarded the cloth. This improved its mobility but made it more vulnerable to attacks. Mimikyu can often be found in Sector D as well, as they prey on several lifeforms found there.
Competitive Analysis: Mimikyu can work well as a physical, special or even mixed set, though physical is probably the better one due to its higher Attack and Tough Claws. With access to Curse, Taunt, Thunder Wave, Will-O'-Wisp, Toxic and Hypnosis, it has good support and stallbreaker capability if you need some fast non-bulky support that's immune to Prankster, trapping and most priority moves. Since physical sets will probably be more common, non-physical sets can be used to catch opponents off guard. With access to Psychic, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Dazzling Gleam, Dark Pulse and Shadow Ball, Mimikyu's special movepool is certainly nothing to sneeze at, but Tough Claws-boosted Wood Hammer, Knock Off, Play Rough, Shadow Claw, Shadow Sneak and Leech Life coming off of a base 127 Attack is impressive to say the least.

UB-734 Acolyte (Yungoos)
Base Stats: 53/41/73/89/47/67 (370)
Type: Normal/Fighting
Ability: Thick Fat (HA: Magic Guard)
Removed Moves: Pursuit, Bide, Bite, Super Fang, Take Down, Crunch, Hyper Fang, Thrash, Earthquake, Rock Tomb, Revenge, Last Resort
Added Moves: Calm Mind, Thunder Wave, Sunny Day, Rain Dance, Hail, Trick, Confusion, Psybeam, Shock Wave, Dream Eater, Flash, Vacuum Wave, Aura Sphere, Aurora Beam, Mystical Fire, Dazzling Gleam, Snarl
Description: Yungoos live in complex colonies in Sector C. Each colony is commanded by a single Gumshoos, which instructs the Yungoos in various methods of sorcery and psychic energy manipulation. These Yungoos have very thick layers of skin covering a layer of blubber to protect from physical harm.
Competitive Analysis: It might not look like much in OU, but in LC, this thing is an absolute monster. With its wide movepool, good Speed, great Sp. Atk and excellent physical bulk, as well as access to U-Turn, Yungoos can act as a fast bulky pivot or a late-game Choice Scarf sweeper. Though its movepool may not include many powerful moves, its excellent stats and good coverage allow it to really excel in the LC metagame.

UB-735 Commander (Gumshoos)
Base Stats: 191/41/97/127/67/47 (570)
Type: Psychic/Fighting
Ability: Thick Fat (HA: Magic Guard)
Removed Moves: Same as Yungoos
Added Moves: All moves added to Yungoos, Psychic, Psyshock, Focus Blast, Hyper Voice, Hyper Beam, Shadow Ball, Dark Pulse, Moonblast, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Energy Ball, Trick Room, Wonder Room, Magic Room, Psychic Terrain, Light Screen, Trump Card
Description: Only one Gumshoos exists in a Yungoos colony, functioning as their leader. When the leader of a colony dies, all the members of the colony battle to determine which Yungoos is the most powerful. Once the battles are over, the Yungoos deemed the most powerful will ascend the mountain which has been dubbed "Gumshoos Peak", the highest mountain in the mountain range separating sectors C and D. Upon reaching the top of the mountain, the Yungoos will enter into a meditative state lasting several Earth days, during which it will evolve into Gumshoos. Interestingly, there are no recorded instances of a Yungoos failing to reach the mountaintop. Gumshoos from Planet 1 are extremely skilled in energy manipulation and can use many different kinds of attacks; they also sport several layers of blubber allowing them to repel many forms of damage.
Competitive Analysis: With insane HP and good defenses, as well as great Sp. Atk, Gumshoos is a pretty threatening Pokémon to go up against. Its movepool features massive amounts of good coverage moves, and it can use a Life Orb in conjunction with Magic Guard to boost the power of its attacks without having to deal with recoil damage. Thick Fat gives Gumshoos effective resistances to Fire and Ice, two very common attacking types, but Magic Guard keeps it from having to worry about things like Toxic or Stealth Rock wearing it down. All in all, this is a great specially offensive tank or slow pivot that won't go down easily.

UB-752 Forcefield (Araquanid)
Base Stats: 97/47/109/89/181/47 (570)
Type: Bug/Psychic
Ability: Psychic Bubble - Doubles power of Psychic-type moves used by this Pokémon. This Pokémon takes half damage from Fighting-type attacks and cannot flinch. [Psychic-type clone of Water Bubble] (HA: Filter)
Removed Moves: All Water-type moves, Bite, Crunch, Leech Life, Lunge, Entrainment, Frost Breath, X-Scissor, Poison Jab, Wide Guard
Added Moves: Psychic, Psyshock, Bug Buzz, Focus Blast, Acid Spray, Safeguard, Psychic Terrain, Reflect, Light Screen, Flash Cannon, Power Gem, Sticky Web, Gravity, Cosmic Power, Psycho Shift, Magic Coat, Trick Room, Wonder Room, Magic Room
Description: Originally, Araquanid could only survive in areas where water could be found because it needed to keep a water bubble with it to survive aboveground. However, on Planet 1, no aquatic organisms existed that were suitable for Araquanid to prey upon. As a result, Araquanid developed the ability to breathe on land. Since this left the parts of its body formerly protected by water bubbles exposed to harsh conditions, Araquanid also developed telekinetic abilities, shielding unprotected parts of its body with forcefields of psychic energy. These forcefields are strong enough to give protection that allows Araquanid to travel to any of the planet's five sectors. It populates every sector of the planet except Sector E, because Sector E is the main habitat of Mimikyu, which preys on Araquanid.
Competitive Analysis: A great Ability and phenomenal special bulk make Araquanid an excellent special wall. Though its Sp. Atk of 89 leaves a bit to be desired, Psychic Bubble doubles the power of its Psychic-type moves, giving it effectively 180-power STAB in Psychic or 160-power STAB in Psyshock. Bug Buzz is not nearly as powerful due to not having the Ability boost, but it's still good STAB that hits through substitutes. Focus Blast and some other special attacks can be used for coverage, and you can run Acid Spray if you don't want to run Psyshock against Pokémon like Chansey. Araquanid also gets great support moves added to its movepool, like Trick Room, Psychic Terrain, both Screens, and Sticky Web, and Psycho Shift can pass any status effects onto its opponent.

UB-398 Magma (Staraptor)
Base Stats: 109/131/89/37/67/137 (570)
Type: Fire/Flying
Ability: Rock Head (HA: Reckless)
Removed Moves: Rain Dance, Ominous Wind, Revenge
Added Moves: Head Smash, Iron Head, Wood Hammer, Flare Blitz, Overheat, Solar Beam, Flamethrower, Fire Blast
Description: Staraptor has adapted to live in the almost completely uninhabitable Sector A. Living on a diet of mainly magma and axelite has caused changes in Staraptor's body. Magma flows through its veins instead of blood, and all the materials that make up its body are resistant to super-high temperatures. It generates heat and magma from inside its body, and can fly at supersonic speeds by shooting jets of magma from its wings like rockets. The exterior of its body is mainly composed of feathers made from semi-hardened magma; the head area is protected by completely hardened magma, allowing it to ram into foes without hurting itself.
Competitive Analysis: Despite a 4x weakness to Stealth Rock, Staraptor is still plenty dangerous. With great Attack and Speed and access to Brave Bird, Flare Blitz, Head Smash, Wood Hammer and Double-Edge, all either boosted or without recoil, this is an excellent physical sweeper. It can effectively use Choice Band or Scarf, especially since it also has access to U-Turn. If you want to, you could also run max-HP Final Gambit, which makes use of Staraptor's decent base HP to OHKO everything up to and including max-HP Nihilego.

I'm almost never going to make Ultra Space variations of unevolved Pokémon. I did it in this case solely because of the interaction between these variants of Yungoos and Gumshoos.

If Psychic Bubble looks OP to you, that's because it's a clone of Water Bubble, one of the more overpowered abilities.

Thanks, alephgalactus for that description of Planet 1. WIP
Name: UV-778 (Threaten)
New Stats: 61/103/83/59/103/113 (522)
New Typing: Dark/Ghost
Added Moves: Loses all levelup Fairy moves except for Play Rough. Gains Knock Off, Crunch, Snarl, Power Trip, Foul Play, Torment, Quash and Snarl.
Abilities: Klutz/Anticipation/(Aftermath)
Appearance: No more Pikachu head, instead with other pokemon's heads. Also, it is a darker shade of those pokemon, and it has more appendages.
Descriptions: Being threw into Ultra Space made it more lonely. To gain popularity, it disguises itself as another pokemon. It was originally in Sector E, then travelled towards Sector C to show itself off. Its disguise is much better in convoncing someone, but it is weaker.
