Doublade @ Eviolite
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Atk / 16 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Iron Head
- Shadow Sneak
- Sacred Sword / Shadow Claw

Doublade eats up all of Mega Scizor's moves and can set up on it and eventually strike back hard. Doesn't appreciate Knock Off variants, however. Also I'm posting this over Aegislash because of Aegislash's incoming ban.

+6 252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 240 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Doublade: 112-132 (35.1 - 41.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO Yum

..... Do I really have to explain this?

Calcs:

252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Chandelure: 66-78 (25.2 - 29.8%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bug Bite vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Chandelure: 49-58 (18.7 - 22.2%) -- possible 5HKO

Water Check

Gyarados @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 88 HP / 192 Atk / 4 Def / 224 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Bounce

Sub/DD Gyarados can eat up Mega Scizor's attacks. As this set does not carry Knock Off, Gyarados resists all if its main STABs. Gyarados can set up in front of it as it takes Scizor to be at +2 in order for Gyarados' substitute to be broken in one shot. Intimidate allows Gyarados to have a turn for it to set up.

Calcs (when Gyarados comes in and Intimidates Scizor to +1)

+1 252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 88 HP / 4 Def Gyarados: 108-128 (30.5 - 36.2%) -- guaranteed 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

+1 252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bug Bite vs. 88 HP / 4 Def Gyarados: 162-192 (45.8 - 54.3%) -- 5.5% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Bold Nature
- Fire Blast
- Haze
- Toxic Spikes
- Pain Split

Defensive Weezing Counter:

Why so good: Weezing is a great counter for poison, with its tying, movepool, and defensive bulk. Haze for when Scizor boosts, and fire blast as a 1HKO

Calc: 20 SpA Weezing Fire Blast vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mega Scizor: 284-336 (101 - 119.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Psychic check.

Victini @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Victory Star
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

SD Scizor is a big threat to psychic teams and Victini can act as a somewhat decent check being able to live a +2 Bullet Punch, outspeed and kill.

Jellicent @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 240 HP / 228 Def / 40 SpD
Bold Nature
- Hex
- Will-O-Wisp
- Recover
- Scald

Calculations:
252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 240 HP / 228+ Def Jellicent: 55-66 (13.7 - 16.4%) -- possibly the worst move ever
252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bug Bite vs. 240 HP / 228+ Def Jellicent: 83-98 (20.6 - 24.4%) -- possible 6HKO after Leftovers recovery

Simple enough, switch in on whatever move Scizor uses, then Will-O and Hex or Scald

Ground / Flying Counter:

Landorus-Therian @ Leftovers / Rocky Helmet
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 8 SpD / 8 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- U-Turn
- Stone Edge / Toxic

Lando-T offers Ground and Flying teams both a guarenteed switchin to Scizor at just about any stage.

Scizor hitting Lando-T:
-1 252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 252 HP / 240+ Def Landorus-T: 63-75 (16.4 - 19.6%) -- possible 7HKO after Leftovers recovery

-1 252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bug Bite vs. 252 HP / 240+ Def Landorus-T: 46-55 (12 - 14.3%) -- possibly the worst move ever

Pitiful damage, while in return:
0 Atk Landorus-T Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Scizor: 111-132 (39.5 - 46.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

and if Rocks are already up:
0 Atk Landorus-T Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Scizor: 111-132 (39.5 - 46.9%) -- 37.1% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock

Even after an SD, BP fails to 2HKO:
+1 252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 252 HP / 240+ Def Landorus-T: 141-166 (36.9 - 43.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

Electric Check

Magnezone @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

- Hidden Power [Fire]

252 SpA Magnezone Hidden Power Fire vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mega Scizor: 264-312 (93.9 - 111%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

Not much else to say here, Magnezone traps with Magnet Pull after Scizor gets a kill and KOs with HP Fire.

btw I observed that a lot of these Pokemon have a dual typing with Steel or Fire in it kek, not all though

252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 252 HP / 0- Def Aegislash-Shield: 47-56 (14.5 - 17.2%) -- possible 9HKO after Leftovers recovery

252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bug Bite vs. 252 HP / 0- Def Aegislash-Shield: 35-41 (10.8 - 12.6%) -- possibly the worst move ever

With SD

+2 252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 252 HP / 0- Def Aegislash-Shield: 93-111 (28.7 - 34.2%) -- 99.2% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

+2 252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bug Bite vs. 252 HP / 0- Def Aegislash-Shield: 70-82 (21.6 - 25.3%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery

Though King's Shield makes it look like this.

-2 252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 252 HP / 0- Def Aegislash-Shield: 24-28 (7.4 - 8.6%) -- possibly the worst move ever

-2 252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bug Bite vs. 252 HP / 0- Def Aegislash-Shield: 17-21 (5.2 - 6.4%) -- possibly the worst move ever

I don't have time for calcing Mega Scizor using Superpower.

0 SpA Aegislash-Blade Shadow Ball vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mega Scizor: 123-145 (43.7 - 51.6%) -- 10.9% chance to 2HKO

252+ SpA Choice Specs Walrein Hidden Power Fire vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Mega Scizor: 344-408 (100.2 - 118.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

The classic specs Walrein set, you use this over Lapras if you think winning vs Fire is more important than Water. I also personally like it for its increased utility in neutral matchups, it has a stronger Surf, and while both check Scizor, I like Walrein better. The 96 EV's are to outspeed 8 Speed Scizor, which is really the most the bulky set reasonably runs. Frost Breath>Ice Beam is for Calm Mind Mega Sableye, Surf is for maximum damage, and Signal Beam is filler for Psychics.

I have used many fun sets on Ice. None are more fun than Physically Offensive Watmel Avalugg. This is a lure, plain and simple. You can use Avalanche if you want Avalugg to hit hard in most matchups, or you can use Earthquake if you REALLY want that replay of you beating your friend in Ice v. Steel. Rapid Spin/Recover are practically the reasons to use Avalugg, and are still good even without full physical defensive investment.

Both of these sets are pretty good because most things in Ice run HP Fire because no Ice Type Pokemon can use a fire type move besides HP Fire. Its really sad because there are no counters for this. Stealth Rocks are sadly a thing and cripple Ice Types, but those are still Checks.

Same thing here. But LOL that Avalugg set. If all falls down accepts that set, I'm gonna make something like this XD

Also, on that note

Sorry for that random thing i can delete this if u don't want me to put this here xD

Normal Check (Possibly Counter? idk u decide all falls down)

Porygon2 @ Eviolite
Ability: Trace
EVs: 200 HP / 56 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Tri Attack
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Recover
- Thunder Wave

Well. Just a Porygon2 that has an Eviolite. Just a standard Special Defensive Porygon2. I'm not sure what to say but heres the calcs.

56 SpA Porygon2 Hidden Power Fire vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mega Scizor: 192-228 (68.3 - 81.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Not good enough for you? Well, with Technician, thanks to Trace, here is the calcs.

56 SpA Technician Porygon2 Hidden Power Fire vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mega Scizor: 284-336 (101 - 119.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

aww yeah.

252+ Atk Mega Scizor Superpower vs. 200 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Porygon2: 234-276 (64.8 - 76.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

and then you click Counter and KO. I couldn't provide Calcs cause it doesn't have that type of info.

Garchomp @ Garchompite
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Fire Blast
- Draco Meteor

Self explanatory for the most part, standard wallbreaker set on Ground. As long as its healthy it can take up to a +2 Bullet Punch from Scizor and retaliate with a Fire Blast and OHKO.
+2 252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Garchomp: 211-250 (59.1 - 70%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after 3 layers of Spikes

Ability: Frisk
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish / Relaxed Nature

That's Gourgeist standard physical wall set. It can act as a reliable check thanks to its access to Will-o-Wisp and great bulk. Fire Blast, although not mandatory, can do wonders against Mega-Scizor and 2HKOes the great majority of its sets.
252+ Atk Mega Scizor Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Gourgeist-Super: 162-192 (43.3 - 51.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

0 SpA Gourgeist-Super Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Mega Scizor: 204-244 (59.4 - 71.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Venusaur @ Venusaurite
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 248 HP / 240 Def / 20 Spe
Bold Nature
- Earthquake / Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb / Giga Drain
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Synthesis

The most common check for nearly every Grass team, Mega-Venusaur can take down Mega-Scizor without much trouble, as long as it is healthy. Hidden Power 2HKOes its most common set. Bullet Punch only 3HKOes, even at +2, considering Mega-Venusaur is using the physically defensive spread. Do note that Mega-Venusaur also often outspeeds Mega-Scizor, since most of its used sets don't run Speed EVs at all.

0 SpA Mega Venusaur Hidden Power Fire vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Mega Scizor: 204-244 (59.4 - 71.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 252 HP / 240+ Def Mega Venusaur: 151-178 (41.4 - 48.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

Whimsicott @ Life Orb
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Giga Drain / Leech Seed
- Moonblast
- Encore
- Stun Spore

Surprised to see this here? The set doesn't really matter; Whimsicott's biggest selling point is preventing Mega-Scizor from freely setup with Encore. If it is using Leech Seed, it gets way easier to wear it down, however. Alternatively, it could use Hidden Power Fire, which 2HKOes most of the time anyway, if you are having difficulties on taking it down with other moves.

Celebi @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Earth Power
- Psychic
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Recover / Giga Drain / Skill Swap / Filler

Another interesting (and somewhat unexpected) set, Celebi is capable of running a wide variety of moves, and it can do a very fine job on checking Scizor with Hidden Power Fire. It is guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock damage on Mega-Scizor's standard set, and it has a good chance of OHKOing should you not have it in field, assuming Celebi is using a Life Orb and a Modest Nature. Although it is mainly made to destroy Poison types in general, it can be changed to match your needs if Steel is a problem for you, and it can do great with the combination of Hidden Power Fire and Earth Power.

252+ SpA Life Orb Celebi Hidden Power Fire vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Mega Scizor: 312-369 (90.9 - 107.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
+2 252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Celebi: 240-283 (70.3 - 82.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Do note that Celebi is faster, so calcing Knock Off/Bug Bite's damage aren't really relevant unless you are caught on the switch in.

Additional Notes:
-I assumed the Adamant:248/252/0/0/8/0 spread for Mega-Scizor as the most common spread, according to February 2016 statistics
-All the mentioned pokemons are checks, Grass monotypes lack a reliable counter for Mega-Scizor in every way, thanks to its access to Sword Dance, strong moves and priority.

I probably should have mentioned this, but all checks and counters are based off the set i post, which was max speed

Anyways new mon soon
oh, sorry lol, that probs would have only affected Mega-Venusaur as check then, since Mega-Scizor could attack it first with moves like Bug Bite. Still, that would be a good check, but it has to be more wary on switching in. (all the other mons apparently seem to outspeed and the lack of bulk from the spread you have presented reinforces the reliability of moves such as Hidden Power Fire striking through it. Celebi and Whimsicott are still faster so that wouldn't be really relevant, either.

Rock Check

Rock Polish Set.
Rhyperior @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Fire Punch
- Earthquake
- Rock Blast
- Rock Polish

Rhyperior uninvested lives any move from Scizor unless it sets up. In that case, you can go full physical defense but I'm just doing this.

Calcs:

Rhyperior to Scizor

252+ Atk Rhyperior Fire Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mega Scizor: 284-336 (101 - 119.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Scizor to Rhyperior

252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Rhyperior: 192-228 (51.7 - 61.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252+ Atk Mega Scizor Superpower vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Rhyperior: 256-302 (69 - 81.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

You can run Solid Rock to take half of that damage!

These Rhyperior EVs are much better in my humble opinion. :3

Electric Counter

Ampharos @ Ampharosite
Ability: Static
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Rest
- Sleep Talk/Dragon Pulse
- Volt Switch
- Toxic

Mega Sableye is a huge threat to electric teams, being able to sweep after just one calm mind. However, Ampharos is a great counter to mega sableye, being able to switch into anything that it has to offer and firing off a toxic thanks to Mold Breaker. Rest is for longevity.
